Garage door wouldn’t open when I went to leave for work. Called and they had Derrick come out. He arrived about 30 minutes later. Looked everything over and said he would have parts and be able to fix tomorrow. Cost was a bit expensive but we have a huge old solid wood door so we have to have particular springs etc.

Kevin was absolutely amazing. Same day service and we have hot water again. I am blown away from the friendly customer service to a two hour time frame of arrival, to installation of our water heater. We couldn't be more pleased. Give Kevin Cole a raise. He deserves it. Thank you Kevin and Absolute Services. Well done folks.

My AC went out and I needed to replace my entire HVAC system. Drew was professional and knowledgeable. He educated me on what I needed and what my options were. Drew was truly a joy to work with and I am happy with my services. Also Avante came out and did the diagnostic tests and he was professional and knowledgeable. I used them to install an opener on my existing garage door. Everything was amazing but I had a slight problem this weekend. The door wouldn’t work. They sent Trey out immediately. He was able to troubleshoot and correct the problem. I highly recommend Absolute. So response and professional.

Clark Wicke came out to check out my old air conditioner. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was wrong and what my options were moving forward. He was the most professional and knowledgeable home repair person I have ever interacted with. It’s like he was a doctor of heating and air. Then, Keith Williams came over and installed a new unit for me. He was very friendly and made sure that the process went smoothly. He never gave up when unexpected issues arose from my 30 year old previous unit.

After a tree fell on our garage and our car was trapped due to the spring pole bending in half, Absolute Services was there within one hour of calling them. Jacob was so helpful and instantly knew how to solve the problem. We will also have to replace both doors and he was so helpful in our selection process. I called for assistance with my garage door and within 30 minutes a very nice young man named Derek arrived. First, he opened my garage door in about 2 minutes allowing me to remove my car from the garage. He then proceeded to install a new spring in about 20 minutes. I would call that amazing service! (FYI I called another overhead door company, and unlike Absolute, they could not come to my house for a week!

I had garage door services. Robbie was awesome! He was very professional. He completed his inspection while clearly walking me through everything he was doing. He provided optional prices and equipment that was economical for my budget. He was very clean. He explained the warranty and how to use the equipment. I felt good about the services received.

My garage door needed a spring replaced. Jarred Johnson did the repair. He arrived quickly, did a thorough inspection and explanation of the problem. He worked efficiently, and did an excellent job. I’d recommend Jarred to anyone needing garage door repairs.

A few weeks ago, I woke up on Friday and discovered that our hot water tank sprung a leak and drained almost completely. I called Absolute and they had someone out that morning. I wasn't surprised to learn it needed to be replaced (it was 15+ years old). I talked to the plumber about getting a tankless system, and he talked me out of it, explaining that Louisville's water has too many minerals and the system requires a very expensive, all-day maintenance more often than the typical once-per-year, and needs to be done at least 3-4 times per year here. I asked about getting a bigger tank than my 50 gallon tank, but he told me any bigger and we're getting into industrial sizes, so I decided to stick with 50-gal. He quoted me $1800 for the water tank, installation, haul-away, all-inclusive, but it would be the following Monday before he could get the tank and install it. I told him I wanted to make sure the tank is Energy Star certified with a UEF of at least 0.81 to qualify for the tax credit. He didn't know what UEF meant (or, giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe he just misheard me), but assured me that they all meet the same requirements these days because they're all required to by law. I asked for the model number of the water heater he quoted me so I could look it up and verify, and he told me that it's in the box, and the only way to get the model is to unbox it, and once the supplier takes it out of the box, I bought it. This didn't seem likely to be true to me, but I had a plumber at the house and no hot water tank, so I wasn't in a great position to send him away. So we made an appointment for him to come back Monday morning (the next business day) to install it. My shut off valve on the tank was so old it didn't work anymore, so he cut it off, put a new sharkbite valve on, and told me to leave that valve closed so I could have cold water at least over the weekend. The service call plus parts and labor was $312.He was very friendly, and honestly did a really good job. He brought someone with him (apprentice maybe?) and they both treated me and my home with respect. They worked quickly and efficiently. But when I was asked to fill out a survey while they watched me fill it out, I felt pressured to give higher marks than I actually felt were accurate.I don't have a major problem with the work that was done, honestly. I had a pressing need, and they sent someone out quickly and took care of the problem. But I'm not happy with the tank that was installed, and I feel like it was pushed onto me through misinformation because a tankless system or larger tank might have met my needs better, but he couldn't get those quickly or didn't want to move pipes to install them because an in-place swap was easier. If that's the case, though, I would have preferred to be told that he doesn't like doing tankless installs, or can't get a larger or more efficient tank, so I could make the choice. What I now have is a 50-gal tank that sells for <$900 retail, is not Energy Star certified, has a UEF rating of 0.62, and it doesn't do significantly better than my old one at providing more hot water for back-to-back or longer showers like a tankless or even larger tank system would provide.In short, service was fast and efficient. A little more expensive than I think it should have been, but responded to my needs quickly so I'm sure that's where some of the extra cost comes from. But I was talked into what was available, instead of getting what I was asking for. I've used Absolute for a garage door issue a few years ago and was happy with that work, which is why they were my first call for this job. But I don't think I'll be calling them again for future work.

Upon completion of the agreed upon work they indicated the work was done. My son, who lives in the house, called us yesterday to indicate some damage done to the light fixture covers in the basement and we were not told of any of this. We have gone and purchased new covers for the lights to install them so they would not fall and hit anyone. The cost of the covers, at Home Depot was $33.96 plus tax. All we ask is some reimbursement for this. No need to come back out for this work unless you feel a need.

Sam and Bailey were excellent, professional, and quick. We are loving the new mini-split heat pump that was installed.

Sometimes you learn the most about a company not by what they do right, but how they take care of you when things go wrong. The first technician, who was punctual and very friendly, missed diagnosing the problem. I called back to let them know what happened, and received two different return calls letting me know they were going to take care of it. They sent Rusty Evans out first thing this morning. Rusty was very professional and friendly. He took time to show me what he was doing and explained why he was doing it. He was very thorough and barely left a sign that he had completely pulled the toilet to do the work. I will definitely use Absolute Services again because I know I can count on them to do the job right, and if they miss something they will be prompt in making it right.

Absolutely fantastic. I work nights and did not realize my sump pump died, and I had 2 inches of water in my basement until after 3 p.m. I called them and they were able to move things around, getting someone out there within 2 hours!! (An hour drive to my house). No extra charge for an emergency call. I even made it to work on time. Kyle was incredible. This was my 2nd experience using their plumbing services the 1st being a bathroom leak. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Our torsion spring broke on our garage door Saturday morning at 11am. I was able to schedule a service call for the same day and had new springs installed and a working garage door by 5pm the same day! Process was incredibly easy and customer service was top notch! I have used Absolute services for over 3 years and have always had great work done by them. They bring a lot of experience and expertise to the job and do a through job of explaining the issues, the suggested repairs, and payment options up front. I have never had an surprise cost or issue come up from their work. Carlton was especially courteous with my questions and concerns raise during service visit and patiently pointed out things to be address that he noticed on his inspection. Extremely disappointed in this company. I called for a routine garage door spring replacement. When I asked for a quote over the phone, the lady said they cannot give those to me (red flag#1). When the guy arrived he quoted me $559 to replace two garage door springs, I felt that was high (red flag #2), but I didnt know in today's market with how high everything has gotten. After he left, I still did not feel right about the whole situation. I decided to contact TWO other companies, Cunningham and BuckHart, and they both quoted me over the phone for the same job, $327 and $368 respectively. Yep...I got ripped off. Not cool. And please dont reply to this review with a silly ours come with a warranty...so did theirs. I called Absolute to express my disappointment, but the person on the phone told me the parts department will give me a call, it has been 24 hours and nobody has called me back. I cannot speak on their HVAC work but if you need a garage door repaired, go somewhere else.

Will helped us install a new garage door today. He did an excellent job. But what stood out most was that he arrived on time, had an outstanding work ethic, completed the job early and was here to answer all of my questions throughout the process. Thank you Will!

I called Saturday afternoon and someone was here in less than two hours. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to explain to me what was wrong with my garage door opener. And, he was able to install a new unit in less than an hour. If I have any more problems, I would definitely call on them again.

From the first moment of contact, I was treated professionally and friendly.Before the technician arrived, I received notification of who would be arriving, what time they would be arriving, and also a photo of the person(s) arriving. Before arriving, Jeff called ahead to once again verify time and place. When Jeff arrived they politely introduced himself and discussed the plan to assess the garage door and the mechanics in order to verify that the proper service was to be provided. After that he went to work very efficiently and quietly. After his assessment of the garage door and mechanics, we had a discussion of potential repairs and was given the amount of fees involved before he proceeded. Once repairs began I was notified that an alternate solution would be recommended and was provided an estimate in order to discuss and consider. Absolutely no pressure to make a decision on the spot.All in all, I felt confident with Jeff's expertise of overhead garage door service. Called Monday and Tuesday service technician Kevin H. promptly showed. Inspected and installed a basic garage door motor and system in an hour. Excellent service, consultation and instruction was given. So very pleased, highly recommended and will use in the future when I upgrade our doors. Overall convenience is priceless.

My garage door failed to operate so I called Absolute Services. Kevin came out and diagnosed a faulty motor unit. He was very professional in letting me know the services and equipment they offered. Once discussed, he installed a brand new garage door opener (because they carry all the equipment with them and I didn't have to wait!) and it operates flawlessly. We had a backup sump pump installed. While several companies have been put to inspect the system and even install a new one, Absolute was the first company to investigate and fix the problem of the pipe being clogged and covered by grass at the output point. Carlton Cole uncovered the output and helped remove some of the curb area so that the water could flow out of the yard and into the street drain. I feel like we finally have a solution to a problem that has been ongoing for three years now.

Dalton came to our home at 7PM and did not leave until 10:40PM! Most companies would have pushed us to the next day. Not Absolute Services! They go above and beyond. I have been blown away by their compassionate customer service and will continue working with them!!

Garage door had broken torsion spring and wobbly bearing - tech did a fine job replacing it quickly, lubricated the doors hinges, rollers, etc. and verified proper operation before he left.

The tech Cody Craddock inspected my furnace duct work in attic, and furnace. He noticed the PVC exhaust flue was not up to code. He replace the pipes. Also the inducer motor was replaced. He explained everything to me, which I understandable. Excellent worker and seems very knowledgeable. Very personable. I definitely would recommend Absolute.Took out a maintenance agreement and never will go back to the people who put my furnace in NOV. 2019.

Steve was amazing!! It was freezing in my house and he came in and worked quickly to figure out the problem! Thank goodness it was a simple fix but he also helped me with figuring out what filters I will need and how to keep maintenance up on my furnace and air conditioner. Update Feb 10th 2020-We ran into a few set backs and challenges during the installation however they sent Jacob Kennedy to fix and complete the installation. He was absolutely fabulous. Paul installed a bathroom vanity. He had to go out to get a faucet that will fit. The one I have was not the right side. Paul came back with a better faucet than the one I purchase. He was very polite and understanding. Him and his co worker did a great job!

Zach was fantastic to work with. We have a system that is 20 years old and the last few summers it couldnot keep up. We decided to bite the bullet and get a new AC before next summer. We didn’t want to be stuck on a hot day, with no AC, and the possibility of them not being in stock. We ended up getting a whole new HVAC system, since the heating was old too. My favorite thing so far is the temperature is much more consistent throughout the house. No more walking into rooms and having them burning up bc the heat was just on, or freezing cold bc the heat hasn’t been on for a bit. Looking forward to the summer and seeing how it performs then. I’m sure this new system will provide the comfort and humidity control Zach says it will, and if not, I’ll update my post! Darion from Absolute services came and fixed my garage keypad and door. The keypad wasn't working and my garage door kept opening on it's own. Dalton came out to investigate why my AC had went out the night before and diagnosed it very quickly. He had my AC kicking in no time. Unfortunately it was time to replace my entire unit including the outdoor side of it so he called in Zach. Zach came out the same day and we scheduled everything to be replaced within 4 days. Bailey, mike, and Sam all showed up on time and worked all day getting everything ready and installed. They asked how I wanted certain lines to be ran and did everything the right way and exactly how I wanted it done. Very respectful, they asked every time they were going to drill a hole or move something around to make sure I was ok with it and made sure everything was to my liking before they left. 10/10 would recommend and will 100% be going with this company again in the future as they also installed my garage door motor and keypad previously.

The spring on our garage door broke. Jacob Higgins arrived early the next morning. He did a complete inspection and reviewed details not only of our issue, but of our entire garage door system/pieces/parts, etc, providing wear and tear status of each. That was so helpful to know what to look for in the future. He then replaced our spring to a model better qualified for our use, and replaced other parts that were showing concern. We were very pleased with Jacob and Absolute for their incredible service and partnership in our garage.

Brendan was awesome, very professional and knowledgeable. He repaired a broken light switch. The problem is the cost. I wasn't told there is a $69 fee just to come out. Plus there was a $75 fee to troubleshoot and $98 to replace the switch. Brendan waived th $69 fee since I wasn't told about it but it still cost $167 to replace a light switch. Brendan gave a courtesy inspection of my GFIs.

I have been having intermittent issues with my garage door sensors for about 6 weeks. Monday, the sensors stopped working and I couldn't close my garage door. After calling another company who was going to charge a $75 service fee, I called Absolute Services and they not only did a free inspection, but they were able to come out the same day. The service tech called me around 1000 to tell me they were going to be at my place at 1200. They showed up on time. Jacob and Kyle came out, assessed the problem and provided a clear and understandable explanation of exactly what was going on and what my options were. They provided several options for replacements systems and also included in the price, the repair that needed to be made to the garage door itself. They came in a fully stocked truck, and were able to complete the repair and new garage door opener system in stall in about 30-45 minutes. They made sure to explain how it worked, assisted me with programing the keypad as well as programming the other component by the door that has a time and temperature display. They were professional, friendly, and did fast work. It was much appreciated that they provided amazing customer service, which is lacking with a lot of companies in today's day and age. I will definitely utilize them in the future when I have an issue with my garage door.

My garage door broke on July 4th weekend. My car was trapped because the door wouldn't rise and I couldn't lift it. I called them at 1 and they said they'd have someone there between 2-4. The technical had the problem fixed by 3. Four other places I called did not have availability and one didn't even call me back. Absolute's help was immediate. Mark was professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

They cleaned my home vents and dryer vents. Caleb Cook and his associate from Absolute Services was professional and engaging. They continously worked moving from area to area. Great people. My problem was with billing. I was quoted a price for house vents, AC and Dryer vent cleaning which was clarified during the estimate appointment. The day of service, I was told the price only covered the house vents, I did not agree and a call was made to the main office. After I was told the AC wasn't covered, I cleaned the coils myself and as I was finishing was when the call was made. The office manager approved the work on the dryer vent and AC for estimated price but by the time she ok'd it, I'd finished with the AC coils. No service by Absolute was done on the AC and Caleb stated he did not have the proper tools to clean the AC anyway. However, my dryer vent and house vents was cleaned.

The technician Clark found the trouble and even though the outcome was not an easy fix it was dealt with in a very helpful manner.
Long story short needed a heating unit / air handler and Brian the install technician did a great job ,everything was done to my satisfaction.

Clark did a great job! Our furnace went out and I called Absolute. They came within an hour of the call, compared to other companies who said it would be multiple days till they could send somebody out. Clark texted a picture of himself along with phone number and his estimated time of arrival. When he arrived he quickly got to work and came to the conclusion our furnace computer board was bad. He informed me it would take a couple of days to get the part, but he got the furnace to put out heat while we waited for the part so we wouldn't freeze. We scheduled the appointment for the next day when the part came in. Clark came back in a timely fashion and complete the job! Clark did a great job and I would highly recommend Absolute Services as they were affordable and they did a great job!

I had a very pleasant experience with this company. This was the 1st time that I have used them. I called the company because I had a garage door that would not go up and the girl that answered the phone got me an appointment very early the next morning. The Consult was performed by Travis. He was very friendly and easy to deal with. He arrived right on time. Travis inspected the entire garage door and showed me several things that were wrong with it. Dwayne arrived promptly and proceeded to fix the issue with the track and made sure that everything was working properly, including lubricating the components to insure they worked correctly. We called on a Sunday morning, we were given a window of time they would be out along with an extra weekend service charge. The technician, Jacob Higgins, called us just before the time frame and let us know he was on his way. We are very pleased with the service we received from Absolute Services. Our heat went out on Christmas Day and another company came out to look at it on the 26th. They didn’t fix it so we called Absolute. They had it fixed in under and hour for a very reasonable price. Our technician was very friendly, professional, and thorough.

The actual installation was timely and professional, but incomplete. My HVAC works, but the technicians did not hook up the emergency heat. The reason for this was that a bigger breaker was needed to support the whole system. This would not be a problem except that I had a representative come out before ordering this installation to give me a quote; he looked at my old system and my breaker box. The fact that the company was not aware of the need for the 100A circuit until installation day means someone did not do his job in actually comparing the specs for the new unit with what was already available.On installation day, the technicians (with whom I have no complaint) made me aware of this deficiency and said that an electrician would have to come out at a later time to correct the issue. It isn't imminently going to freeze where I live, so that would have been a very minor inconvenience, except that when I called to have the electrician scheduled, I discovered that I was looking at another $1,200-2,000 to have the installation finished. Considering that the installation had already cost within a hundred dollars of the last car I bought and I had a company representative physically inspect what I had onsite, I was irritated. Fortunately, after talking to the salesman again, he quoted me a much lower price that is near the company cost of the installation, assuming this happens, the problem will be resolved.

Called Absolute Services at 9:30 am Saturday morning. They had a technician available same day, between 12:00 - 2:00. Within one hour, technician Mark Green contacted me, said he could be at our house within 15 minutes. Mark arrived on time, was very professional, evaluated the situation and gave me a quote to repair my garage door. I agreed, Mark removed one of my door cables, due to door being of commercial type and had them made. Within two hours Mark had new doors cables installed and garage door back in operation. Absolute Services has definitely been one of the best contractors I have had the good fortune to hire in recent years. We purchased a new-to-us home that had very ancient mechanicals (two 43 year old HVAC systems, and a 23 year old water heater). We knew we would be replacing them all and installing a water softener soon after closing. I called Absolute and they sent someone within the hour to give us an estimate. I had already done some HVAC research and we called them specifically because we wanted Amana Heat Pumps and they were an authorized dealer with great reviews.John Fighera arrived and took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted, and look at what we had. His recommendations were thoughtfully considered, and he explained more about the features that I wanted and reaffirmed that what I thought I wanted was the correct choice for the size and layout of our home. He did not try to pressure us into selecting anything beyond what we needed or wanted, but did explain their 8 year service membership that could be included in the installation cost. Which I did purchase because their 8 year price was close to what I had paid for just 3 years of annual HVAC service for my last home. John even provided the model numbers of the units that would be arriving so we could look closer at the specifications ourselves before deciding. The price for everything was almost exactly what we had expected, and the next day we scheduled the installations.Three days later, and right on time, Charlie Turkowski and Salem arrived to install the Amana units, and Javon Davis arrived to install the water heater. The installations took the entire day, since all the old systems had to be removed and the location reconfigured to fit the new size units, but there were no issues. The guys were great. Polite, professional, and they took excellent care not to scuff floors, ding walls, or any of the other mishaps that often occur with this type of work. They wore masks, took the time to explain all the new system workings, cleaned up, and made sure everything was working as expected before leaving. Javon even installed the water heater with the necessary pipe hookups for our new water softener so all we have to do is connect it ourselves. Charlie and Salem installed our new Ecobee thermostats instead of the default Amana thermostats, so we would not have to do it ourselves later.Everything about the big installation day went better than expected and I'm very happy. We will definitely be working with Absolute Services again in the near future when we install a ductless system in our outbuilding.Highly recommend.

Danny McCann from Absolute Services was genuinely interested in my project - running new gas-line to my stove area as well as my dryer - I am a strong believer in gas appliances - they heat and work better than their electrical counterparts. When Danny gave me my estimate he took placement of the gas lines into consideration as well as answering all my questions. The day of service he showed up with his helper, do not recall his name, but he was a nice young man. They went over the install process explaining how they would install my new service lines. They were very specific and flexible about where I wanted my lines exactly. They were able to name off typical size appliances since this is a remodel without existing appliances. Danny and his helper, got right to work, respected my home, kept a clean work area, as well as being respectful of my time. Upon completion they showed me the work, answered all my questions, and made the end of transaction feel like I was part of a strong family that had my back. Woke up this morning to find the garage door spring completely broken in half and the door only opening 4 inches. I called and was able to make an appointment for this afternoon. Travis called when he was 30 minutes away giving me enough time to leave work and get home. He was friendly and professional. He thoroughly inspected and investigated the situation and gave me 3 different scenarios of repair. He answered all of my questions and gave me the pros and cons of each scenario. We went with the lifetime warranty repair, but turned down the upsell membership option. I would definitely recommend Absolute Services and Travis.

I am a new homeowner and needed my HVAC/AC unit checked out because the air was not cooling/blowing cold. Bailey Spalding was my HVAC Technician and he went above and beyond to help me. First time he came out which was on a Monday could not even inspect the AC unit outside due to a cage around the unit that was not removable (thus telling me that the seller has NEVER had the unit yearly maintenance) since install, not a good sign). After I cut it off I asked specifically requested for Bailey to be my technician again because of his professionalism, empathy, knowledge, and honesty! He returned on the following Wednesday and it was some bad news for me. Even with getting home inspected before buying and due to the weather being under 65 degrees the inspector could not test the AC Unit only the furnace. Bailey of course not only told me my options and what was needed (from cleaning to some replacing of parts) he managed to get my AC Unit to work, and started blowing cold air to cool the house. That is what I needed and wanted because I will move into the home in a few days and it is essential to have AC during the summer months of Louisville. I am very grateful for the service that was provided to me by Bailey. I highly recommend Absolute Services, if I have any major home appliance issues they will be the first I call. This is an older house with an old HVAC system, 16 or 17 years old. Chris came out and gave the system a thorough checking and gave us an estimate to replace. Chris was very detailed in his explanation of the estimate and the units problems, he included pictures and a written estimate - which included options. I was very pleased with the service.

Needed garage door service and Darion Patton knows his stuff. Gave me a free estimate then fixed my problem in a flash, pointed out what might be future problems (there were 2) and let me know what needed to be done and explained it to me fully...quick,clean, and not too expensive. I’m having a full overhaul soon...the first place I called attempted to rob me(out of respect I won’t mention the name) and it would’ve cost me 4 times what he charged for his excellent service. Give this man a raise.

The quality of the work was great, but the pricing was a bit misleading and vastly overpriced. I was quoted $29 for a diagnostic fee on the phone when scheduling, and later got a bill for $75 diagnostic call and $150 repair to simply reattach duct work in two places. When I called and spoke with them about the bill, they informed me that the $29 “consult” fee is not the same as the $75 “diagnostic” fee. Again, overall the work was great and resolved our issues, but I feel like the communication and upfront pricing could have been much better.

I have had three technicians from absolute at my house from June of 2016 to today, December 19, 2019. All the techs were very professional and courteous. I am concerned that a new door was installed 3 years ago and it seems the bearings locked up enough to break the spring causing me another pricey hardware fix. They do offer warranties now with their new plan!

We found Absolute Services from Google, they had great reviews. The office staff were very professional and friendly. Our call was placed on a Sunday & the tech was on-site in a little over an hour. Jason was very friendly, professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Had portable generator outlet installed and installer had to relocate several breakers. I Had to figure out some of the circuits of the relocated breakers in order to re label them. Clean up could have been better. Cut wire insulation and bits of pink insulation still littered the floor.

It was the annual plumbing and electrical inspections. The plumbing tech was late and his time overlapped with the time I had with the electrician. It made it very confusing and awkward to ask questions I needed to ask each one. I feel like I did not get the service I would have if I had been focused on one at a time.

They were scheduled to come between 4 and 6 and were early, which was great. They made the repairs and made some suggestions on some things that would potentially need fixed and fixed them for us. Even helped my wife jump a car with a dead battery to move it. Great service, would use again!

I bought a new AC unit from this company last year and I am beyond happy with it! Their yearly membership that is included is amazing as well! The garage check was awesome and he replaced the bottom rubber part for free for me! I had someone come out and install an outlet that would be placed 5 steps from the breaker box. On the wall where the outlet would sit is a light and a switch. I’m confused how that one outlet install would cost me $1145. Their price is outrageous!!!!!!! I told him to leave.

Garage door repair. Technician Kevin was great. He assessed my situation and advised on what really needed to be done. Usually services like this try to up-sell to more than you need but Kevin kept it real. He could have suggested other upgrades or total replacement of my garage door system but he didn't. Absolute Services were great! I had an issue with my garage door and they were able to come out the same day to help resolve the problem! Turns out the damage on my door required a brand new door, but I was able to schedule the replacement installed within a week. I received a text when the technicians were on their way and am very pleased with my new garage door.

Just 2 months ago I spent $1,200 on a new garage door, this door was only 5 years old and they had originally installed it. Well after 5 years it completely caved in and was ruined and of course they said this should not have happened. So this morning when I called about it not working the lady was very friendly and set me up with a time for someone to come out to take a look and that was all. So when the technician comes out it was a sensor had somehow gotten moved which was causing it to not work. When he finished he then turns to me and says that since this had nothing to do with the door I owed $75 for a 30 second fix. The issue I have is that the lady on the phone never told me about the $75 charge. If I had known that I would have had them hold off a day so that I could take a look at it and try to fix it myself or have a friend fix it. I have never called a company come out and not be completely upfront about a service fee!

Paul is exceptional. He installed a new water heater for a home I bought. I had to call him on two different occasions and talked to him after hours. I’ve talked to their HVAC guy too. They are always professional and responsible.

As someone who prefers to DIY, it was hard for me to hire a service to fix my broken garage door spring. Because i have heard that they could be dangerous, and to save time, i went ahead and called Absolute not knowing if they were even open on Saturday. Not only were they open, they had someone out to my house within a couple hours. Derek was a super kind and and friendly technician. He let me watch what he was doing and fielded all my questions about door maintenance. Absolute services did a great job fixing up my broken spring on my garage door. They were punctual and helpful in explaining the problem.The only reason why I docked them is due to pricing. If you’re going with them you will be paying on the highest end of the spectrum. I’m lucky that home warranty reimbursement me, but if not they were roughly 50% higher for the same repair than I was quote by a different contractor. If it wasn’t for my home warranty telling me they will cover the expense I would’ve gone with a different contractor to save some money.Oh and I know some people love it, but they took down previous stickers on my door and replaced with theirs (makes sense they serviced it last) and then placed a big old sticker on my garage door opener (which they didn’t service) and now it’s less aesthetically pleasing so I have to take it down.

Avante Unser was the Absolute technician who inspected my air conditioning unit. Mr. Unser was both kind and professional and performed the most thorough inspection I have ever experienced. He explained to me the steps in the process he was going to perform during the inspection. Afterwards, he shared with me all of his findings and supported his findings with pictures of problematic areas. He did not in any way pressure me to use Absolute Services to correct those problems. He informed me that a project manager would contact me with estimates on any procedures that needed to be performed. All in all, I was completely pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend Absolute and Mr. Unser for any HVAC needs/questions.

Water was leaking from my dryer vent and then exploded all over the floor. I called Absolute for help. I first spoke to Christy, who was so sweet and calmed me down. Christy said she would have a person out to my house within the hour. Sure enough, Absolute pulled into my driveway. The torsion spring on my garage door broke the previous night. I called Absolute Overhead Door the next morning shortly after 8:00 am. Avante was a tremendous technician. Several repairs were made on my furnace but there were still issues. Avante came out each time there were issues at no charge, and was extremely thorough and helpful in diagnosing what exactly the problem was. He walked me through options on the final repair, and I’m being credited on that repair for the previous repairs I paid for. Avante is professional, knowledgeable, and I felt treated the job as if it was his own home.

We had a block on our plumbing that was causing water to back up. We couldnt use shower or the toilet. But thankfully even on a saturday, the same day as the issue occurred, a fella by the name of Brandon was able to fit us in his schedule late on a saturday night and get our pipe unclogged and saved the day! Absolute installed new hose bibs on my 2 outdoor faucets so the pipes won’t freeze. They also installed lever handles on 2 water shut offs so they would be easier for me to use. Earlier this month they installed a new kitchen faucet. Both jobs were done by the great team of Courtney Eggens and Molly Noon. Very knowledgeable and polite. Without going into too much detail I would like to highly recommend Absolute Services. We had a situation with one of their employees and when informed about what had occurred the managers James and Justin very easily could’ve told us to kick rocks but instead jumped right into action. They helped resolve the situation and went above and beyond to make a crazy situation right! My only regret is that I wish we would’ve found their company sooner. From now on, I know where my first phone call will be with any issues regarding my home and it’s upkeep and/or repair!!

I called to inquire of estimate for repair needed to garage door panel. Service expert Dwayne called on day of appointment with estimated time of arrival and did so at the time quoted.He was pleasantly professional as he introduced hisself, listened to my concerns and took care to inspect and explain his finding.He then answered my questions on repairs I had before he came, but after his thorough inspection, I realized I needed more than a repair.He presented me with some door and finance options totally without pressure.I really appreciate his professionalism and the time he spent with me and his patience with me as I verbally and mentally processed the repair that needed to be done.Unfortunately ,at this time it was out of my budget, but even then he still was understanding.That makes for a great service and return customers.Thank you Dwayne.

They fixed my garage door, and did a good job. Tech was very knowledgeable.

They advertise $29 gas line installation estimate but when I called they say it's $75.The second time I called to confirm the price, they say they don't do this kind of work even though it's on the website. That's In addition to overcharging for service they quoted me on the phone when I used them back in August to check my water heater. The guy spent 5 min. lighting up the water heater pilot which I had trouble with and charged $198 with a big smile. No parts replaced, just lit up the pilot. When I spoke to customer reps today, it sounded like they have enough business that they don't care.Left my name and number with your staff if you want to follow up regarding your customer service.Month later: the owner who responded to my review never bothered to call me back even though I left my contact information. They have plenty of other people to rip their heads off so he doesn’t care.BTW: Tow Drexler is much more professional and reasonably priced.

The folks at Absolute did a wonderful job replacing our HVAC. Keith did our initial estimate, and came out within hours of our call. Salim and Charlie did our install, and were efficient and professional. They had our new AC up and running in 2 hours! Amazing service across the board, and incredibly responsive. We have their service program, and the office is proactive about calling to let us know when it is time to service our HVAC system. Today, Salim and John came out for service and were fast, professional, and helpful.

Very impressed with Absolute Services. Zach was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about the replacement of our 2 HVAC units. From start to finish we were impressed with the customer service, timely response as well as the scheduling of install. We had 4 great guys show up on time for installation. Charlie, Ahmad, Sam and Curt were great. They explained the details of installation and worked hard and efficiently to get the units installed. My garage door broke and wouldn't open. They gave me a 2 hour window but the technician got there really fast, probably before the window. He was a really nice guy. Checked over everything. Got it fixed real fast and upgraded some things. It's an older garage door but I can tell a big difference in how smooth it opens and closes now. Very happy with this service. I had them put stickers up so I could call them again if I had any issues.

We had some issues with our garage door after an ice storm and called and they were able to send someone out the very next day. The spring broke on our garage door last evening and I called Absolute, since they were one of the few still open. I'm glad I did! They got us on the books for the next day. Our tech, Jacob, arrived on time and had a fully-stocked truck. He assessed the door, gave us repair options and explained what each of the quotes provided. He is very knowledgeable and professional but completely approachable with questions. I had my husband on speakerphone and Jacob answered his questions, as well. He explained everything about the process, made sure we were comfortable with the quote and got to work. The spring was changed promptly and he made sure everything was back in place before leaving. After having a great experience with absolute and my garage door I decided to call them in need of help with some electrical work. Brendan came out and went above and beyond in helping getting my situation fixed.

My garage door had come off track and a roller was off. The door was partially up and crooked. My service rep was on time and professional. Upon arrival he did a full inspection and went over the results and gave me 3 different options with a price estimate before starting the repair. We agreed on which repairs I was able to make and worked with me on the price which I was grateful for. This was the first time I have done business Absolute Service and I can say that they were certainly not the least expensive company to do the repair, I feel satisfied with the work done and the price I paid.

While on the hunt for a company to replace our outdated and barely functioning HVAC system, Home Adviser connected us with Absolute Services. I was contacted by so many contractors that it was easy to get overwhelmed with options but Zach stood out because of his excellent customer service and ability to answer each of my thousands of questions. I'm an overthinker by nature and tend to research something to death. I think he figured this out right away and when other companies didn't reply or would reply with answers that I knew I couldn't trust, Zach did the opposite and gave it to me straight. It was refreshing to have a sales consultant that wanted to be sure I was comfortable in this big decision and not just out to make a sale. I was anxious about spending a ton of money on something that was never really working right in the house we had been in for a few years but Zach promised he would make sure we were taken care of and our new system would be installed the way it should be installed. I don't trust easily but the warranty, the great reviews, the trustworthy information given, and Zach's overall attention to detail made my decision a bit easier. Zach sold me on a particular unit that would have been just fine for our house but after researching, we decided to upgrade. When I talked with Zach about my decision, he was able to work out a deal for us that made our HVAC dreams come true. He knew I needed a few days to overthink things over but he put me on the schedule just in case (I didn't ask him to do that). When I called to say we wanted them to take the job, they said they could do it in just a few days because he had already scheduled me. AND, it was the week before a hot streak. If he wouldn't have done that, I would have had to wait a few weeks. Thanks for that Zach!Installation day was like Christmas. Dalton and Kyle showed up on time. They were professional and friendly. They worked so hard all day to fix all the problems from a previous installation. I wish everyone that came into my home to do repairs or work would be as great as Dalton and Kyle were. I was so pleased with everything they provided. Because of the previous problems left by another company, Dalton and Kyle were put to the test but they did everything Zach had promised. (Keep in mind my garage door is over 10 years without any preventive maintance performed) While going over the inspection Freddy pointed out both good things as well as potential problem items. Afterwards I had an excellent overveiw of what condition my garage door condition was. There was no pressure what so ever to purchase repair parts nor enter a repair contract anytime to correct the items that could fail. In my situation, if I wanted Absolute Services to make any repairs that would have been at my request...not forced into it. Very good inspection.....Pressure Free.

Avante Unser came and performed HVAC maintenance services for me today. He was very polite and courteous. He seemed thorough and let me know what he was doing. Avante informed me of options for better filters, how my air flow was doing, and just general knowledge about my unit. I'm very pleased with the service.

The repair techs did a great job and were on time, professional, and efficient. My only minor complaint is that I was told by the scheduler (on Saturday) my time would be between 10 and noon, but my confirmation text that I received on Sunday said between noon and 2. This caused some scrambling and inconvenience because my wife was not available for the later time frame and I had to take time off work that I had not planned.

Our garage door opener needed to be repaired and we called Absolute Overhead Door to see if we could set up a time for them to come and look at our issue. They were able to come the day we called and Service Expert Jay Trujillo was our technician. We had several issues with our opener and ended up needing a new unit. Jay got it installed and working in a short amount of time and made sure all remotes and control panels were in working order. We were really pleased with the excellent service and with how knowledgeable Jay was with the quick install. We will definitely use this company in the future. Great customer service!

I called for service after backing into the garage door and it hanging in an unsafe manner. The receptionist on the phone was polite and responsive and said they would have someone here between 2-4. My call was at 1 pm. I received a call and text 30 minutes later that our technician was on his way. Jay arrived and was polite and addressed our issue and had us repaired in no time. He presented options for the repair which was much appreciated Christmas week. This is the second time and house we have used them and I highly recommend them!

The torsion spring broke on my garage door late on the previous evening. Called Absolute Services at 7:30 the next morning and Katie dispatched Travis, indicating that he would arrive between 9 and 11. Travis called and texted before arriving at 9. Travis evaluated the problem and provided 4 options for the repair. One option included repairing the actual broken spring and included wear issues, that would be a problem in the future. I chose this option to avoid future disruptions. Tavis worked quickly and carefully, completing all repairs in less than an hour. Great service Travis and Absolute Services !

This morning and heard a loud bang in the garage and found the spring on the garage door had snapped. Absolute was the fourth call I made to try to get a same day repair. The young lady who took my call was very understanding and said she could have someone out between 10 and 12p—this was a little after 9am. Jeff called about 20 minutes later to day he was on his way and pulled into the driveway at 10am. He completed his inspection and gave me three repair options—I appreciated that I didn’t get a high pressure pitch for the most expensive option. He completed the repair in about an hour and the door is working again. I was treated with courtesy and respect am pleased so far.

Finally!! A company with technicians that actually show up and do the work when they say they're going to do it. What a wonderful and pleasant experience. I was given multiple options for repairs on my garage and was able to choose something to fix the garage and also fit within my budget. I truly appreciate how responsive everyone was to my request for repairs.

Had a kitchen drain backing up. I called on Wednesday at 3 and by Thursday at 1:30 the drain was working great again. Rusty was very polite and clean and worked very efficiently to make sure everything was working properly before he left. I had used Absolute a months prior to this to install a garage door and I will say from this point on they will be my go to for problems that I can solve myself. Wonderful company to work with!

Technicians were really on their game, working the problem and sharing the details with me. They didn't talk down or make ridiculous claims or try to be sneaky and upcharge me. Kevin Harrison was the Absolute Services tech who arrived at our home (within the time frame previously agreed upon), on a Friday evening recently. It was cold, it was getting dusk already...and, did I mention it was Friday? A spring on one of our garage doors had broken the previous evening - Kevin was there to offer repair options. Cheerful and alert, despite cold and a long work day, Kevin inspected the garage door, explained the problem and offered several options for repair. Once I had selected the option I wanted, Kevin explained approximately how long it would take to complete the work, showed me the detailed cost analysis/estimate and I signed same. Let me tell you about mike, and I think that mike, rather than the company needs the praise here; as I feel that quality employees are more important than people think. I could tell he was cool as soon as he got out of the truck, he asked about the door, and then looked it over to see if it needed any other services (just like car service departments) and then he showed me what it needed and explained why. Then we discussed the price, and he also gave me several options based on my budget. He didn’t pressure me in any way, shape, or form. I finally decided to have him perform the full door overhaul, which after an online coupon cost me $648.00. Considering I won’t have to deal with it, I’m cool with that price. Also, he’s good at what he does, he knocked the whole job out in no time, and best of all the door is literally 10x quieter than it has been in years. I had two other estimates when absolute came to my house for garage door motor system replacement. The quote for two units and the tax, and labor was less than the other two and the price included the top of the line Liftmaster. As soon as I accepted the quote he put it in. We are very pleased with the response, price and service.

Kyle Hamilton was the tech that serviced our HVAC. He cleared out bacteria in our system that we had no clue about, installed a UV light to prevent that from happening again and cleaned our dryer vent. He even found issues with the vent and fixed them. We have only been here a year and he found so much that the inspector missed and fixed it all. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. The technician was professional and courteous. However they charged $200 a pound for the 410 refrigerant! Based on my research that is off the charts! The highest I could find was $175 a pound. The lowest was $75 a pound. I wasn't home so they delt with my wife. I would have sent them on their way and called someone else.

Dezmond was awesome! He came to check my dishwasher/air gap because the water was coming out of my air gap and we knew this wasn’t right. Overall my experience with the installer and his service was good. He installed a new garage door opener. One vehicle is older and requires the home link bridge. The vehicle was not here, the installer left written instructions which I could not get to work. I text the office and they refused to help. I expected someone to at least try to walk me through it. But they didn't. They got paid, the end.

Incredible experience. Garage door spring broke Saturday morning…by 1:00, Jacob had replaced it with an upgrade and added a second spring, upgraded the cables and rollers. I recently had some electrical repairs done by Mason Scherzer and his team from Absolute Services. First of all...WOWZER! I use Absolute Services for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and garage door maintenance. So I'm used to excellent service from this company. But the service I received from my electrical repairs/upgrades was beyond amazing.I have requested an electrical inspection from several companies over the last 2-3 years. Each time, the “inspector” would open the cover to my main electrical box and say something like “everything looks good” and didn’t check anything else. It was different with Absolute Services. My electrical panel covers were completely removed. All of the wiring was inspected in the main panel and the panel in my detached garage. Electrical outlets were checked to make sure wiring was correct.Mason actually listened to my concerns and what I wanted to be accomplished. He took the time to answer my questions in great detail – explained things in a manner in which I could understand. He was patient, polite and professional in articulating every step of the diagnostic and repair process. I had no hesitation in accepting the quote from which the work was carried out on the agreed day with no complications. Fantastic service, professional, reliable and efficient. My garage door spring broke at 8am. I called at 9am and someone was here by 10:15am! Travis was my service person. He fully explained everything and included pictures of the problem. First off the lady I spoke with to setup the appointment was outstanding on the phone. The guy that came to check out my system was more interested in fixing a problem instead of just saying it needs replaced. I had another company out the day before and he jumped right into , it needs replaced. It's a new system but it isn't their brand so he said it was junk. We were having problems with the AC freezing up. I called Absolute Tuesday afternoon they sent someone out to diagnose Wednesday and had the problem fixed Thursday before lunch. Rusty and his assistant were punctual enough and preformed the work in a timely manner and so far it looks and works well. The price was just a major rip off.$2000 for two faucets installs.They let me pick out a faucet I liked from Lowes and they would go pick it up. I chose a ~$50 faucet. They billed me $350 for each faucet.The labor was billed at $600 pet faucet. They had them both done in less than an hour. I can't recommend this company based on value. I will be shopping else where in the future.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Absoulte Soultions. I am member and have all my electrical, HVAC, and plumbing thru them. Today we had Clark for AC maintenance and he was amazing.I Live in Shepherdsville and Absoulte services came to my rescue again. My whole AC system went out on Friday. The service tech was out that evening to tell me what I suspected that my unit was shot. With in a few hours I had the sales representative out to set me up. The experience was quick and painless. We are renovating a house and decided to use Absolute services for plumbing, HVAC and garage services. He spent lots of time rerouting some very tricky HVAC and did a tremendous job executing the work. Paul G performed some very difficult plumbing work for us, always had a smile, and went above and beyond what we asked for. He was very helpful even with an issue that he didn't have to lend a hand with. His work looked wonderful and we were happy to have him helping us solve some very difficult plumbing issues. I had an outlet wired to old cloth covered wiring that was not working while everything else on same circuit was working. I called Absolute Services, their technician showed up on time and kept me informed of cost as the issue was not obvious and required labor to find the problem. when problem was found, estimate was given, work was completed, problem was solved. Technician was pleasant to work with and for the amount of work done I believe the cost was very reasonable. I would use their services again if needed Thanks.

My mini-split was installed four years ago and was no longer cooling as best as it could. I suspected that it was a little low on refrigerant and that it may have developed a small leak. While in a local Lowe’s one day I was handed a brochure on Absolute Services. Since I trust Lowes I figured I would give them a try. Scheduling my service call was all done via a web app on my phone by scanning a QR code on the brochure, and was fast and easy. The technician arrived on time and was friendly and seemed knowledgeable on HVAC, and in particular mini-split systems. He spotted the issue right away by seeing that the refrigerant line was starting to freeze as soon as the unit was turned on — which means that the unit was low on coolant. He checked for leaks the best he could, but didn’t find any using both a solution that creates bubbles, and an electronic detector. He suspected that the leak was very small and may be in the line set where the inside unit connected to the outside condenser, which he couldn’t reach since it was way up on the side of my house. So far so good, but here is where I feel things went a little wrong. I asked him the price to go ahead and re-charge the system. He told me that it would cost like $259 for up to two pounds of refrigerant, but my system would not hold more then that so that would be the most it would cost. I told him to go ahead and add the refrigerant and I’d see how long that would last, and then make a decision on when I needed to look for a more permanent repair/replacement of the unit. As he was adding the refrigerant I noticed that he was not weighing how much he was putting in, and I asked him how he would know. He then explained to me that it didn’t matter since I had to pay for 2 lbs. regardless of what it required, and since it wouldn’t take more then that he didn’t need to weigh it. I was surprised to say the least, especially when he told me that he thought he only had to add about 8 ozs! So, the lesson in general, be sure you understand Absolute Services’ pricing before the work begins. They advertise that they offer upfront pricing, which they do, but that doesn’t mean that they make sure you understand the pricing! I’d also call around and maybe get more information from other companies too, and it may be a good idea to go with a company that specializes in the specific service that you need, and not a “jack of all trades” company like Absolute Services, who offers everything from garage door repair to HVAC services. Including the service call and adding about 8 ozs. of refrigerant I was out roughly $300– and truth be told I’m not sure the cooling is any better than it was before, so I may have another issue altogether that was not found. Overall, I don’t blame Absolute Services, I should have asked more questions and made sure that I understood the pricing. I am a little disappointed that I spent $300 and don’t seem to be any better off for it.

AC service and cleaning took the time to clean the coil on the AC unit outside. And explain all that they did for me to understand. Travis from Absolute Services was great! He came to check out an “electrical” issue that occurred when we had some bad weather a few fridays ago and the power to our bathrooms went out. He was very friendly and professional on arrival, and was very thorough through the electrical inspection checking all throughout the house. (good thing we cleaned up lol) Although the resolution was very simple, he was able to educate us about various things around the house, helping us learn. This time around we only paid for the troubleshooting fee, but we would use them again! Thank you Travis!

Only people in town who could do the work, and they knew it. They could have had me over a barrel, but instead bent over backwards, going out of their way to accommodate requests and get the job done as professionally as I could possibly have asked for while being super polite. They are obviously committed to doing things the right way, not just the most profitable.

We had a leak at our bathtub that couldn't be shut off, I contacted Absolute Services and they were able to get the plumbing manager to contact me. He Ray came out within 90 minutes and fixed the problem himself. He was very personable and professional and he resolved our problem. I'm very happy that I contacted Absolute and I'm really glad we met Ray, I'm sure we will use their ser many more times in the future!

We had our springs fail for the Garage and I called in Absolute services for getting it fixed. It was a real easy process and they sent in a technician 'Travis' to help and give us estimate.Travis was an absolute delight. He gave us a good rundown on what was needed and more than a few repair options.Once we agreed, we scheduled a time for the fix and Travis came back and fixed our springs within 20 mins. Now our garage is as good as new.

In the past these guys replaced a broken spring on the garage door to my house. They did a great job. Today I had them give me an estimate to install 2 garage door openers on the doors to my shop. I was pleased with the estimate and after discussing things with my wife tonight, I will most likely have them come do the job within 2 weeks.

We were having issues with gaps around our garage door and water leaking in. Dwayne Hatfield arrived on time and was able to provide a thorough assessment quickly. He also noticed a missing bolt and bad bearings in the roller in our golf cart garage door. After fixing trim and replacing the rollers, our garage is much quieter and we no longer have water leaking inside. Dwayne was friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to answer our questions. One of the springs on our garage door snapped on a Saturday afternoon. I called Absolute and they had Travis out to my house within an hour. When he arrived, Travis conducted a thorough inspection of the door and in addition to the spring, noted several other needed repairs. He clearly explained what he recommended and why, and then promptly got to work. In barely an hour the garage was fixed. Cannot recommend Travis highly enough, he did a great job.
