Beyond 5 stars. Chris was our tech and he did an excellent job! He located 7 gas leaks and fixed everyone of them and continued to check to make sure he got them all. When LG&E came out to restore service, the rep said that it was very rare that a job like this is done right the first time. I could go on, but do yourself a favor and call use this service!

The whole experience with United was very positive! They were dispatched from Homeserve (Water Co Insurance) for a claim I placed for a potential water line leak outside my home. Derek came first to assess the situation and he was super friendly and quickly determined there was definitely a leak and put in the order to have the underground lines marked. Once the lines were marked (finally—heads up LG&E, MSD and Lou Water split from the single company that used to mark all the lines at the same time and they are not very timely or responsive.United had to contact them several times to get them to mark their part) United called back to make an appt to have the repair done. Two days later they had their team out. Michael was on time, friendly, and very professional. He was very thorough in explaining the entire process, he showed me the leak when they located it, showed it after they repaired it and then showed me that the meter was no longer spinning indicating that there were no other leaks. This was by far the best service experience I’ve had and will use them again if I have future plumbing issues and would gladly recommend United to anyone!!

Unprofessional. Said he'd have my bathrooms done in a couple days. Started the work and after two days left work unfinished for over a week
I gave him key to my house which he said he would only use then told me later that my key had been lost by his employee. Had to change all my door locks. Brought in an inclosed tub when l specifically asked for a enclosed shower. My mistake was not allowing him to start work without everything in writing. He kept saying he was working on it. The only thing l got in writing was his bill handwritten on a receipt. His employees that worked on the project left cigarette butts, bottles and cans and garbage scattered in the house and all over the yard. I cleaned it up after they disappeared for over a week. I had to try to reach him for days to see what was going on. I have no idea how he has been in business as long as he has. He didn't get a permit from the city until the work was almost finished and l had called the city to see if he had gotten one! Unprofessional shouldn't be in business.

I work for a non-profit and we used them to replace a ac unit. The unit they installed had issues from day 1, and they would charge us to fix the unit they installed. The finishing straw was when they quoted us $3k to replace an hvac line that wasn't broken (second opinion confirmed that). Stay away from these guys.
