Most plumbing companies send out “techs” that know less than I do about plumbing problems (not a lot). Not so with Klein.

Punctual, very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly respectful as well—sir, ma’am, and booties on the boots every time they’re in and out.

Bad customer service.

Excellent work all around. Friendly owner. Had major backup, called CLMS Plumbing. They arrived within an hour and showed us the problem using a pipe inspection camera. They replaced the sewer system without trenching. Thanks Again CLMS Plumbing.

Pros: came out same day, friendly tech.

Con: pricing. I was given a verbal estimate of between 500-550$. But somehow the compressor broke itself, and as a result, they charged me for more hours of labor and it ended up being over $700. As a consumer, I was forced to believe that my AC unit, which functioned fine when the tech got there, somehow broke itself while he was working on it. I expected that the company would stick to their initial estimate, but I was wrong. That was a big disappointment.

I was wary when I did not initially receive a written estimate. I think Louisville mechanical would be better served to supply written estimates and to keep the customer updated, as clearly and concretely as possible, if there are any price increases. That would keep an unfortunate situation such as this one from repeating itself in the future.

Water line leak. Called TSP and they scheduled me immediately. MSD and LGE wanted them to wait another five days but TSP came anyway. They located the leak, dug to China with as little lawn disturbance as possible, repaired the line and kept me informed the whole time. Very professional. Mike Pich was the plumber on site. Good man.

Unbelievably expensive. Love working with small business and would even pay a little more to do it. However, I was recently sent an invoice for $513.50 to check for a gas leak on a furnace.

Told me they had to wait for the utilitity company for 3-4hrs and it was 94/hr to wait.

I am clearly in the wrong business if plumbers get 94/hr when they aren’t working. Never again, guess big business is the only option these days.
