On Tuesday water started to suddenly flow out of my kitchen sink cabinet. Upon further investigation, it turned out that my garbage disposal had decided to walk off the job. Called John and he was at my place with a new garbage disposal within 2 hours and it was installed an hour later. Easy, no drama, fast. I was so thrilled that I could get it done not only on the same day, but within hours on the same day. Truly stress-free experience.

Had a major clog. Water backing up into both toilets and bathtubs. Plumber came quickly. Was polite and thorough. Also found that the toilet was improperly installed. Fixed that as well. Explained everything and walked me through the service. Great experience.

Their management also contacted the irrigation guy to make sure no problem would arise. They had great perspective on things. It wasn’t a cheap repair, but was worth it for the peace of of mind knowing that they had done a really good job!

I was having a hard time getting a plumber to change a bad stem in the bathtub- it's a small job, I know, but I couldn't do it myself. Byron and Byron came and I realized it was a good thing I called them- I knew my bathtub plumbing was old and hard to find parts for but they managed in a magical way to replace the stem, and it works. Plus these guys were very friendly- they met me at the door with a handshake and a smile. They were polite, and very, very informative. They also made suggestions on updating the tub hardware which I am going to do, and I plan to let them do the work.

My kitchen sink was clogged and needed it fixed ASAP. Called A-1 and spoke with Lexie, who was enormously helpful and communicative. She let me know that they’d be able to accommodate me shortly. Sure enough, I received call just 10 minutes later letting me know a technician would be on the way. Bernardo, the technician, arrived within an hour and was a consummate professional. He unclogged the sink within 20 minutes and was polite the entire time. Overall, I was very pleased with the help I got from both Lexie and Bernardo. 11/10, would call again.

Jose came to help replace a faucet, snake a drain, and replace a broken check valve. He is an exceptional plumber - courteous, responsible, punctual and fairly-priced. During one of the repairs, a hot water recirculation pump had a glitch and stopped working - he promptly came back the following morning to get it sorted out. That sort of responsibility and prompt fix is what sets Jose apart. Don't waste time looking for other plumbers - Jose and company is the best.

I live in downtown Los Angeles in an old house circa 1928. I was very lucky the first 2 years after the purchase until last week when I heard a drip, drip, drip, on my living room ceiling. I searched upstairs but nothing seemed to be wrong. I couldn’t find the source of the drip. So I called a plumber in my area. They were very polite on the phone and made me feel like they knew how to handle the problem. The next day Near and Best Plummer came bright and early. The guy was neat and clean unlike other companies I used in the past. He tracked down the leak in my master bathroom under my sink and in a few minutes the problem was solved.
While Joseph was there, I also asked him if he could snake out the drain in the master bathroom because even though it worked it drained very slowly. In no time it flowed like new. This was a super plumbing company and I’m glad I found them.

This company replaced our gas line last May. We are having a gas issue: no more heat or hot water. We called them and asked them to come ASAP and they said they will be to our home the next morning. We were waiting. Calling them and finally told us they will not come today but tomorrow. I explained them again he situation and they did not care at all even so the job was still under warranty. Not a reliable and trustful company be aware of it!
If we knew we had to wait so long we would have called another company on day one.
