Smelly water from one of our hot water heaters had us calling Catons for the replacement of an anode rod for the heater, including a very nasty surprise when during their draining of the hot water tank into a too small bucket we had a flood of dirty water into carpeted living spaces. In less than the 90 day guarantee covered by the initial service call, the smell returned and so did the serviceman, this time to provide a very lengthy and expensive unexpected chlorination service for our water system. I give Catons tremendous credit for reviewing with me, in detail, the billing statements I received for these two separate visits and ultimately resolving several inconsistencies between them which subsequently resulted in a much appreciated reduction in my bill.

Super knowledgeable! Actually took the time to diagnose what the problem may be over the phone and arrived only a few hours after the call. They are also extremely honest. I initially thought I would need a video camera to diagnose the issue. However, they quickly resolved the blockage and told me I didn’t need to spend unnecessary money on the camera. Unheard of!! They are also very reasonably priced. I’ve found my forever plumber! Highly recommend!

I have dealt with plenty of plumbers recently as I work my way through a cluster of a renovation project. I found the perfect fixture while on vacation in Europe and figure it would be a piece of cake to install. Little did my smooth brain know that British pipes use different threads than American pipes. The plumber I have already paid thousands of dollars to was not able to figure this out. Desperate, I called CA Taciak who graciously took my call. Lexi, who I spoke with, took down as much information as she could, and before she gave me a quote, said she would be back with more information. Minutes later, I received a message detailing exactly what would need to be done to adapt my traitorous redcoat fixture to my freedom sized pipes. This saved me tons of money because I am sure a lesser plumber would charge me for a trip out, not know what they were doing, charge me for a trip to the hardware store, charge me for the incorrect pieces, and walk off the job with the job incomplete yet still send me an invoice. The knowledge and kindness exhibited is a rare trait in this world and I cannot recommend CA Taciak and Sons enough.

This was an awesome experience. Had a plumber from another company come out and was unable to fix the issue. That plumber sent me the contact info for Zoom. They where able to schedule me for service quickly. Our original date had to be rescheduled due to the holidays and staffing but the issue was not an emergency and the office reached out before my appointment time to reschedule the next day so that was no biggie. The tech John showed up bright and early to start work. John was super professional. He used a drop cloth to keep the area clean. He wore booties to keep my carpet clean and even had booties on the machinery he was using. Quoted us a price and it was fair. There was even a moment where he could have overcharged us and he did not. He was extremely fast and pleasant and will definitely use Zoom again for any plumbing issues. Thanks John you're awesome!

The plumber was on time and very professional. He took time to explain the functions of the water heater and resetting the pilot light.
