He came in ON TIME. Punctual. Calm. Professional demeanor. Respectable and Respectful, both. -- My sink had been leaking profusely underneath, for quite some time. I tried to have my son fix it, he couldn't. I looked at it, seemed simple --- wouldn't didn't stop pouring out the drain pipe. He came in, simple fix (for him) and was in and out. I paid his whole fee, plus a tip. -- I didn't pay him for how easy/how quick it was (for him) -- I paid him because I tried to fix it and couldn't do it; I paid him because he provided professional peace of mind. I'll be using him again if we have another leaky problem.

I recently purchased a new home, and quickly discovered that the water pressure was very low throughout the whole house. For example, if I ran more than one appliance, and went to wash my hands - the water would trickle out of the faucet.

I called Metcalf Plumbing, and within a few hours of my initial call, Louis was at my home and diagnosed the issue - that I needed a new water line as my galvanized line from 1950 was deteriorating. Metcalf was the first plumbing service I called, but I did try others to get a second opinion/estimate. Metcalf was mid-range on the estimates I received, but I chose to hire them to complete the service as they were the most responsive and prompt. I had the most confidence in their service, and rightfully so - my water line replacement was completed on time and in less than a day! Everything is working great now thanks to Metcalf. I will use them again, and I recommend you hire them for your home's plumbing needs as well.

**Update: I had an issue recently with my full downstairs bathroom. The shower was squealing, and half the water came out of the tub faucet rather than the shower head. Mike M came out today and was prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided us with a couple of options (he could rebuild the unit or replace the unit). We opted for replacement, and he took care of it on the spot! As always, we were very pleased with the work! Thanks Mike & Metcalf!

A friend recommended this company to me and I used them once before and it was fine. This time I scheduled an appointment and the day and time came and went with no one showing up. I called and was told to send a text message only for that to go unreturned. I understand that things happen and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled, but it would have been nice if someone treated me like a human being and let me know something instead of leaving me waiting for hours.

Nick's seriously the best! His thoroughness and accuracy are unmatched and he's the one I call (and the one I recommend to friends and family) when experiencing plumbing issues. I've also recommended him to friends for installation/design at their place of business.

You can count on Nick's Plumbing to get the job done right the first time, and to not suggest any unnecessary repairs. If he detects a small issue, a small issue is what he'll fix. If it's a larger project, he'll explain it all in a way that makes perfect sense so you know you're in good hands.

we called to have some work done on a gas supply line and I had the pleasure of working with a young lady by the name of April. This young lady was a true pleasure to speak to she took time to hear me out and take my order for service properly but the most important this is that she took the time to Follow up with me to make sure that everything was done and that we were pleased with the work that was done, all of these things together showed me a extream level of professionalisim that should not go unnoticed and that she should be commended for BECAUSE OF THE PROFESSIONALISIM OF APRIL I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO CALL STILWELL 2,3,4,OR 5 MORE TIMES TO COME OUT AND DO THE WORK....... They have deceptive business practices. They send me several mailings that I can get free plumbing inspection but when I called them, they denied owning the mailing and said that they will charge me if they send dispatch to my address. Here’s the add they sent me. Very deceptive!!

So I own a business and I’m on a side street, there was some quote emergency work unquote and the supervisor wouldn’t move a truck to make a one lane in so people could get to my business!! Absolutely horrible attitude, no compassion for a small business trying to make a dollar in the city and instead of explaining himself he would rather laugh at me. They let me though so there definitely was a lane to be open so for the life of me I can’t understand why he wouldn’t open the lane. If you need work I wouldn’t recommend this company find another company that has compassion for the working man!!

I hired Adam Pease to renovate my master bathroom. The work was poorly planned and sloppy which led to delays and added expense for him and me. It was clear that he was in over his head. I had to hire someone else to fix his work and complete the project. When I asked him to pay for a portion of the $7k it cost me to fix his work and complete the project, he blocked my phone number and stopped returning my calls. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor.
