I want to say what a FABULOUS job Dylan did for us when he upgraded the electric supply for our new garbage disposal! The existing disposal had been installed more than 20 years prior, and was hard-wired to the electric supply for the house. So Dylan had to install an outlet as well as ensure there was a ground wire in the existing wiring. In addition, he surveyed our breaker box and discovered some issues that, while up to code when we bought the house 2 decades ago, were no longer code and needed to be upgraded.Dylan was kind enough to create a tiered estimate of costs: what it would cost to replace EVERYTHING, versus attending to the code violations as well as the garbage disposal, versus just installing the correct wiring for the disposal. This made it very easy for us to make our decision regarding the work we wanted done.Dylan was on-time, efficient, friendly, thoughtful, and extremely competent. He was able to complete all the work we requested in under two hours and cleaned up afterward. We appreciate his professionalism and his honesty in letting us know what was addressing code requirements versus what would be nice to have taken care of at some point in the future. Many thanks to Dylan; he performed 5-star service, and we appreciate him!_____________________________I have to write and say what a GREAT job Caden did during our annual HVAC maintenance inspection last week! He was training Alex, and Caden took the time to demonstrate the value of good communication with the cusotmer by explaining everything thoroughly to me. Our A/C needed a new capacitor, and he discussed its role in the operation of the air conditioner, which was great. He also discussed the benefit of an I-wave air purification system, which we are considering purchasing.I really appreciate experts at their job who are able to clearly communicate with me, and who care enough to take the time to do so. Kudos to Caden for being that person!

Chase Thompson, owner of KC Water Heaters, is a master plumber with a fuel gas certification. Chase replaced our two 15-year old gas water heaters with two new Bradford White tanks. The fuel gas certification is important to us since we know that a lot of houses do not have proper venting. Sure enough our old tanks had the melted plastic evidence of prior backdrafts. We spent time with him discussing various tank options as well as different configurations for plumbing setup. We decided on a reverse return plumbing setup as recommended by the tank manufacturer (Bradford White). We had other quotes from more well-known plumbing companies but they recommended the more well-known parallel or in series setups even with Bradford White units. I'm not sure they know reverse return setups. Chase installed the manufacturer-recommended plumbing setup and increased the size of the vents to properly handle the exhaust and be compliant with code. He gets city permits on his jobs. He also replaced the PRV valve which was old and not providing adequate water pressure. He was at the house for 6-7 hours and worked hard the entire time with no breaks. He is very knowledgeable and easy to speak with, and all he does is water heaters, so you're working with an expert. I highly recommend him.

Poelma Plumbing and Construction have done fascia, cement walkway, retaining wall, sod, and other repairs along with plumbing for me. They are dependable. When they give you his work days, he is there working on those days. He takes pride in his work and in doing it right. His prices are fair and he keeps the work place neat. I would highly recommend Mark Poelma for you construction, remodel and plumbing needs.

The main water pipe coming into my house froze earlier this week. I called several plumbers and was waitlisted for all of them. Jerry responded to my query with some possible solutions. I did exactly as he said, and in less than three hours our water was back on. I’m so impressed by his willingness to assist me even though he was busy with other customers. I could have easily spent hundreds of dollars trying to get this fixed. Instead, based on Jerry’s suggestion, I fixed the problem with a $20 halogen lamp. The next time I need a plumber, I’m definitely calling Advocate Master Plumbing.

The Lennox product from LBA , I bought in 2013 has given me nothing but problems these past 2 years. I had to pay $746 on May 7, 2020 to fix a leak only to have to pay another $1000 on August 4, 2020 for another leak (this time in the coil). The only problem I have is that the company doesn't have a better warranty on service calls. I didn't think that I should have to pay for another flush and refill of freon since I had to pay it in May. The only reason I went with LBA was because they were rated the best back in 2013.The service tech (David Ruiz) was so very polite and professional. I hope that he goes far in the company. He made me feel like I can give the company another chance. Hopefully, LBA will come up with a better plan on having discounts or long term service contracts so people don't have to pay over and over for freon leaks.

I’ve had an exceptional experience with Rainbow Plumbing. They were very accommodating when I emailed and called them to set up an appointment time that would work best with my night shift work schedule. I’ve had them out several times to fix a kitchen sink leak, replace an overly rusted and calcified toilet parts, and install a new faucet. Their labor time was quick and the plumbers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The labor costs in my opinion were very reasonable and competitive and they don’t charge a $50.00 “travel fee” (with or without an estimate) like one of their competitors, at least not that I know of. I’d use them again for more future projects.
