Best Repairs Air Conditioning in Austin TX

Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning Plumber
Google wouldn't let me leave a new review. So, I am updating my original glowing review. If you’re going to use Radiant, be aware that their post-purchase customer service is beyond deplorable! I had a brand new Goodman HVAC installed in June. As it was triple digit heat at the time, Radiant only tested that the furnace would come on, but did not test that it would stay on. With the cold front that came in on Nov. 11, I turned on the heat for the first time. The furnace promptly shut down a few moments later. The very first time I tried to use the new furnace, it FAILED!Radiant identified the problem as a manufacturer’s defect. As I told Radiant multiple times, I don’t fault them for a manufacturer’s defect, but how they handle correcting the defect is solely on Radiant. Well, Radiant FAILED miserably!!!It took 3 visits and five days to get the never-used furnace fixed. I won’t go into Radiant sending a different repair tech each time. Though, sending the same person who started the repair to finish the repair would only seem to make sense. After each of the first two visits, I was told a part was required, but my repair would be noted as a “high priority” and “top priority” to get it fixed right away. I wouldn’t need to follow up because Radiant was going to get this done. However in actuality, I found that my repair went back to the bottom of the stack for repairs the next day.At no time did Radiant follow up with me regarding the timing to complete the repair. There was only silence. It took my making many phone calls over the span of three days to get the repair completed. I kept being told that the required part was either days away or had no known ETA. THE SECRET IS to escalate your call and express your complete dissatisfaction until you are blue in the face.If I had not escalated my calls to the Customer Satisfaction Manager and then the HVAC Manager, I have no doubt that I would still be without heat. In both instances, Radiant had the required parts in hand less than an hour after I escalated my call. So much for the parts being days away. Each of the repair techs that were dispatched has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have no issue with them. However when it comes to follow-up and follow-through from Radiant, I cannot think of a worse experience than this one. My brand new, out of the box furnace didn’t work and getting it working never seemed like a priority for Radiant. If you’re going to use Radiant, follow these tips:1. Don’t buy Goodman. I’m told there has been a spate of defects with their furnaces of late.2. Be prepared to do your own follow up with Radiant to get the repair scheduled and completed.3. Use the magic words, “I’d like to speak to your manager” as soon as you realize your repair is falling through the cracks.

A&T Service Plumbing Plumber
I live in a four Plex they’re working on now and they were supposed to do the work from 8 AM to 4 PM they didn’t show up until 4 PM and we’re drilling underneath my unit until 10 o’clock at night I have a 10-year-old daughter and they kept her up late when she at school the next day I was also without water and she had swimming that night and I was not informed they’d be there that late I also was left without water I was told he would be there at eight in the morning and I waited for him before I left and he never showed up completely unprofessional I would never hire this guy to do your work they do not take you in consideration nor your children and they do all their work late.In response to the owner no nothing worked when they left our plumbing still doesn’t work. They were requested and scheduled to be there during the day not the night get your story straight. If they were here when they were supposed to be maybe they wouldn’t have had people flushing the toilet since they weren’t supposed to be there at that time.

Stan's Heating, Air & Plumbing Plumber
Call Stan’s and you can expect to pay …– an $89 service fee just for coming to your house– a $7 fuel surcharge– a $133.75 minimum diagnostic & technical service that doesn’t include fixing anything. We had an error code on our water softener. One of their employees named Steve came to our house and didn’t seem knowledgeable at all. He got on the phone with the manufacturer to find out what needed replaced. He left without fixing anything. We plugged the unit back in after he had disabled it and it now had a leak that wasn’t there before. He then emailed us an estimate of $236.48 for two PVC pipes, $401.25 of setup for replacing piping, and $556.40 for replacing the probe. This probably doesn’t even include the part, because he gave us the part number so we could look for it online. We used Strand’s for our A/C systems on several occasions and then Stan’s after Chris Strand started this new company. We were going to have them service our A/C and heater but we will never use them again.

Christianson Air Conditioning and Plumbing Plumber
As usual, your technician was extremely friendly and helpful with the simple maintenance check. He even found an issue with the newly installed system. He didn't have to say anything about it (since you installed it too - he could have just fixed it and been quiet about it), but he did (a wire was knocked loose during install). Mistakes can happen but it's how you handle them (with full transparency and candor) that makes us so happy to have you install and service our systems over 2 houses for the past 22 years. Thanks!
