I called fast plumbing for two different jobs and they were terrific. Melissa is responsive, thorough, and super helpful. I needed advice on the best way to plumb a guest bath addition and the guys came out, analyzed the current plumbing layout and really helped find the best way to plumb the new bathroom- and it was not an easy task!! I am planning to hire them to do the complete plumbing work on a new guest bathroom addition. I highly recommend the team at Fast Plumbing.

Dylan with Ben Franklin plumbing was amazing and so knowledgeable and patient with us regarding our issue. Being new home owners we are learning a lot about our house and we just had a crash course in sewer plumbing. Dylan was quick, assessed the issue, provided us with great information and things to look out for, etc. He resolved our issue quickly and we also had him quote more plumbing items we need to fix sooner than later. I can rest easy now that my issue is fixed and learned a ton in the process.

I’m super glad I discovered Al Mac plumbing. Me and my wife were smelling sewer gas in our house that we just purchased last month. The house we bought is an older house from the early 70s. The previous owner had it renovated before they sold it to us. Well I’ll cut to the chase now ?. We had Al and his apprentice Dessie show up and they offered to perform a smoke bomb test. At first I was like, did you just say Bomb?. Al said it’s not an actual bomb, it’s a smoke candle that he will light and put in my drain pipe. Well I said sounds pretty cool, I’m in. Well after Al did the smoke test, he discovered that I had an open piece of pipe behind my toilet in the master bathroom. Al had to pull my toilet and cut the sheetrock behind the toilet to find the pipe. Al capped the open pipe and haven’t smelled sewer gases since. Just thankful Al and Dessie could fix that in a timely manner.

Received estimate for installation of new plumbing. Arrived on time. Called ahead. Estimate was detailed and explained.

We had a busted pipe during the 2021 snow storm, and Mark braved the hazardous road conditions to come to our house and get our leak fixed. He was able to immediately identify where the leak was, and completed his repairs in no time. When the city restored water, we unfortunately found another busted pipe, and Mark made time for us and fixed it again. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and down to Earth. His prices are fair, and his work quality is excellent. I highly recommend you check him out!!

JP did a great job. He was there on time and he was able to solve my problem quickly and efficiently. If I have any plumbing issues in the future I’ll definitely ask for him again.

Really fantastic experience with this plumber! He spent a great deal of time analyzing our low water and clogging issues and helped us identify the most affordable way forward. We did some of the demo ourselves and purchasing then he helped fix the issues and installed a new sink and toilets. He was also very careful about socially distancing, respectful, cheery and kind.

We contacted Efficient Air because they are a Mitsubishi mini-spli system Diamond contractor. Darwin was laid-back, yet very responsive, and super easy to work with. Because we're new to mini-split systems, he even offered to meet us at the Mitsubishi training center in Austin to experience a demo of the units! The installation team was great too. They showed up on-time and worked late on day 1 to ensure we had a working system for the evening, then returned the following day to complete the remaining work. All in all, a great experience (which seems so rare) and I highly recommend them!

What a team! these guys will go above and beyond for residential service. They are my go to guys in the Austin area they service some of the nicest homes and the nicest areas and are very well trusted from karl to Mason to Jimmy I can't say enough about them. They are awesome plumbers.

Cory did not disclose out of area fee when scheduling, then lied about it the next day (we listened to the recording together). The job would have never been accepted if he was up front on the nature of the charges. Cory said after the fact that we were outside the 30 mile radius and therefore incurred an extra $100 trip charge today, but that was not disclosed when booking. In reality, we are 26 miles. Just a money grab. Their estimates were also 2x-3x the competition ($1,200 - $1,400 to repair a leak near the main pressure valve by the meter, and an extra $750 if the valve needed replacing). Plumb Doctors was referred to me by a 3rd party and have already taken my poor experience to him. The 3rd party is refunding me the charge I paid to Plumb Doctors. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. The job ended up being done for roughly ⅓ the cost.

I had the same experience as others in relation to the home warranty. I have vent line leak, in that the rooms near the leak constantly smell like raw sewage, which is something that is covered by my home warranty. But Confidence plumbing refused / had no clue how to diagnose the vent line leak. I explained that another plumber had suggested a smoke test as the appropriate diagnostic tool, but they said they didn't know how to do those and just smelling raw sewage is not an acceptable means of detection for warranty claim coverage. So basically even though the home warranty covers the issue, they have no way to diagnose the issue, therefore no coverage is actually provided - brilliant! Clearly AHS (warranty provider) should be avoided at all costs, but so should this plumber that is in their pocket.

Our company called Fox out to fix a leak. Fox sent out two employees. It took the two employees a total of 10 man-hours before they could pinpoint the leak. Once their assessment was completed, I asked them what the cost would be to fix the leak. The plumber didn't seem to know how to bid the job. So, he told me he needed to check with his supervisor and get a quote sent over. After I had to call Fox and request the quote, it was sent over. They quoted 6,200, for what we needed. After receiving their enormous quote, I called another plumbing company. I gave the other company the same instructions that I gave Fox. The second company found the source of the leak in less than 2 hours with only one employee. I asked the other company for a quote. The second company quoted the job for 1,600, that's 1/4 the quote Fox gave. The new plumber fixed the two leaks in less time than it took Fox's employees to even find the leak.The worst thing was Fox billed us $1,043.75, for their employees' time! Worse still, THEY DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK!After contacting Fox about their outrageous invoice they decided to take the to take off the helpers portion of the bill, $260. So in effect, we paid Fox $783 for a leak they NEVER FIXED!
