Very friendly and fast but both leaks they fixed had to be refixed. This took more time, more huge water bill, and more inconvenience of having no water at the house. Very high price after initial lower quote. We ended up having to trench the yard ourselves to physically find the problem. Plumbers aren't diggers! We learned all this the hard way and are grateful they refixed their work but have a hard time trusting it now.

We called Ben Franklin after S and D stood us up twice. They were prompt, friendly and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them. Dylan was excellent.

I’m super glad I discovered Al Mac plumbing. Me and my wife were smelling sewer gas in our house that we just purchased last month. The house we bought is an older house from the early 70s. The previous owner had it renovated before they sold it to us. Well I’ll cut to the chase now ?. We had Al and his apprentice Dessie show up and they offered to perform a smoke bomb test. At first I was like, did you just say Bomb?. Al said it’s not an actual bomb, it’s a smoke candle that he will light and put in my drain pipe. Well I said sounds pretty cool, I’m in. Well after Al did the smoke test, he discovered that I had an open piece of pipe behind my toilet in the master bathroom. Al had to pull my toilet and cut the sheetrock behind the toilet to find the pipe. Al capped the open pipe and haven’t smelled sewer gases since. Just thankful Al and Dessie could fix that in a timely manner.

My job included installation of water heaters and removal of an older on-demand water system that failed. This involved rerouting piping, setting up two heaters, making adjustments to follow code, capping off gas lines used for heating the old system, and removal of the old heating system. Brendan arrived promptly, was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave a fair bid, the work was done exactly as promised, and he even returned at no charge when I had a problem with sediment/minerals suddenly clogging my kitchen faucet upon completion of the work. Customer satisfaction is important and it was clearly demonstrated here.

I've had Mark out to our first house for a major pipe burst in the garage a couple years ago and not only did he come out in the middle of the night and get the situation under control, he also let us know costs up front as well as what we could expect and do to better help prevent this kind of thing in the future. Having said that, when we moved to our new home in Pflugerville and our expansive clay soil bust the incoming water to the house near the foundation I knew just who to call. I spoke with Mark (the owner) and he was out to the house in about 20 minutes. As usual, Mark let me know exactly what the fee would be as well as a clear estimate on what to expect. The job was done timely and professionally and as always, Mark let me know what I could do in order to better protect the home as well as ways to avoid this kind of thing in the future. We are very pleased with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. John was very persistent in locating the source of our water temperature and pressure problems. He assured us he would not leave without making sure our issues were solved. And thank goodness we finally have hot water again. The guys made it out with short notice for a job that was too big for a one man job. Had the leak detected and was off the water main and caused huge water bills for a few months. The leak was not easy to find and a full foot deeper than the water line should have been. They dealt with the rock and debris and put in a fix that is much better than what broke and caused the leak. Super nice, helpful and kind. Would highly recommend.

Came out for a service call on 6/2/2020 and required authorization from the home warranty company. Since then no calls back, no one answers their phone number, no response to email or chat, or text. In the meantime the issue they were sent out for has gotten much worse and I have already paid for the service!
