Benjamin Franklin plumbing technician Jared Patterson did some commode repairs at me home today. He was very prompt and very professional. He explained my options and did a great job on the repair. I was offered a “cash discount” for services, and told I would be charged a “convenience fee” if I opted to use any type of credit card or debit card. To my knowledge this is not legal, you can not pass on credit card fees to the customer. The only thing you can offer is a cash discount. A customer can not be punished for using a credit card by a store, we already pay fees on credit cards. If you don’t want to take credit cards then don’t offer the service. Once I pulled out my check book there was no discount!!! They said the regular price was the cash discount?!?!? Indeed not a discount. This was my quoted price when I called. Proof again that they are illegally adding fees to people using credit cards. I did NOT get the repair because of the hidden fees! I paid the service call only and had the repairman leave.

Great services my bath tub was clogged and they came in to fix my bathroom, amazing plumbing skills and the expertise to explain each step of the repair was on point, they never moved forward without authorization and the equipment for the repairs was very professional as well. This was the slowest and most inconvenient service I have ever received from a management perspective. Garrison Plumbing LLC gave us a window from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM; however, the technician did not arrive until 4:25 PM. When he arrived at our house, he required us to pay the $85 service fee upfront. He then took photos and informed me that we would have to wait 15 minutes for Choice Home Warranty to approve the cost. He left our house and mentioned he would come back in 15 minutes when the charge was approved. He was gone for an hour and a half, arriving back to complete the job at 5:55 PM (on a Friday). They proceeded to change out our faucet (which we provided). It took the two gentlemen approximately 25 minutes to finish. It appeared that one of the two gentlemen was receiving on-the-job training. My fiancée and I missed our dinner reservation that we had scheduled weeks in advance because of the delay to the job. They officially left our home with the job complete at 6:20 PM.I want to say that both gentlemen on site were highly respectful and friendly. It's clear that the technicians were great, but the company's management is poor at best.
