Best Water Leaking in Irving TX
We had a plumbing issue that we just couldn't fix ourselves. This company was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly and at a fair price. The team was professional, courteous, and provided us with great customer service. We will be using their services again in the future.

Everyone working in the house was very nice and they they kept the house clean and completely fixed the leak. Calls were returned quickly and phone staff was friendly. Overall, they saved me a lot of money by finding the actual leak and getting it done before closing.
BACKGROUND:We found Herndon McFarland Plumbing through our Home Insurance agency during a difficult home selling process. While our house was inspected a possibility of a leak was found. Our buyers hired another plumbing company who found a separation in the pipes in a part of our house and quoted us a huge amount to fix the leak. It took us another high priced plumber to tell us that a separation doesn't necessarily mean a leak but they quoted us $600 just to do an isolated leak test after already charging me a couple hundred dollars to snake the pipes and relook at the previous plumbers findings. I was very frustrated at that point.
Our insurance company set us up with McFarland for the isolated testing and they did a very thorough job and found the true leak. Their quote to fix the leak (in a completely different place that the first plumber's guess -btw) was reasonable and they could finish the job when needed.
A few days before they were to begin one of the owners called me to tell me that they couldn't get a permit because there was some kind of lien on our property from a previous owner. He had already talked to the appropriate people and told me who I needed to contact and how I could resolve the issue. He was understanding of my freaking out moment and encouraged me not to worry. Luckily, I was able to get everything worked out right away and the plumbers could still do the work on time and as planned.

They charged $75 for a contracted plumber to come out and give an estimate for a job he didn't want. Barely even looked around. Spent more time in his truck writing up a ridiculously high estimate. Got several more quotes for free, so definitely wasted $75.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Called them to repair a leaking sink. They call me back and notify me a tech is on the way and will be there in 45 minutes to an hour. Finally arrived an hour and 45 minutes later. I show him the leaking sink, he pokes around, turning the water faucet on and off. Finally after 5 minutes, he announces that he can't fix the problem, and the whole faucet has to be replaced! Didn't even offer to turn off water to sink. I had to ask him to turn off the water to the sink. The tech goes out to write up an estimate for the replacement, comes back with a $615.00 estimate! Total charge for this trip...$207.50, including a $20.00 charge for materials (no materials used) and a $187.50 leak detection fee (all tech did was turn the faucet on and off a couple of times) Total ripoff. Paid bill, reluctantly. Tech had to call in to process credit card which took 10 minutes. So, in the end paid over $200.00 for nothing and have a sink with the water shut off.

Used First American Home Warranty due to a bathtub leak soaking my carpet. Plumbers arrived with boots on, walked across my carpet. Spent about 10 minutes and told me I lacked calking. I asked them to stay while I refilled the tub. They just drove away. I had the calking fixed, carpet soaked again. On my own, I found 2 screws mounting the overflow valve and tightened them. Fixed the problem. Took me 10 minutes, right in front of me. First American refunded my money when they discovered just how bad these guys are. Run, don't let them in your house.

They damaged various things. Threw away part of something that was not included in the insurance paid repair resulting in us having to purchase a new one that costs around 800.00. They stated it would be at least 90 days before they could reinstall anything.
