I was able to get an appointment on day requested. The Technican was very courteous and did his job very efficiently.
Robert was my plumber. He was very professional, safe, and efficient with his time. I asked him a few questions and he was able to answer them confidently with deep insight. RotoRooter as a whole was very professional.If I had to make a complaint it would be their estimates on arrival being a bit inaccurate (they told me an hour, it took three) but given the circumstances, I understand.

I had a water leak/drip/stream coming from bathtub faucet. My house is old, and upon trying to fix the drip, he found that the stems and seat of the faucet were corroded and the seat was worn completely out. He got me up and running temporarily, but the stems needed replacing as they were probably as old as the house! He had to go to a specialty plumbing supply store to see if they had the parts to replace (until I remodel my bathroom). They did thank goodness, but he spent time fixing my problem (without additional expense and trip time), and with the utmost kindness and professionalism. This will be a temporary fix as I will be replacing this and plumbing behind the wall when I remodel my bathroom, but he got me up and running until I do. I highly recommend them as I have used them in the past for simple things (roto root tree roots) and they have always been professional and prices are very reasonable. Thank you again!!

Sunday morning, i walked downstairs to make coffee and the carpet was saturated with water. I called Roto Rooter and they were at my house before i knew it. Alex and Tony, were great, they explained Step by step. I had the best experience.
This review couldβve easily gotten 5 stars had the technician not laugh at or act like he didnβt understand my concerns, questions or comments, not all of them, because he understood the question βdo you understand what Iβm asking?β. Itβs not something easily explained by writing a review, but Iβm sure everyone has experienced a show of ignorance at least once in their lifetime. He also tried using a bathroom towel of mine to set his machine on in my bathroom and left a mess in it as well.
I had several plumber out, not anyone got the job done. ROTO ROOTER came out when they said, gave me a free estimate. I ok the estimate and they got right to work. They didn't make a mess and got the work completed in a reasonable mount of time. THANKS, ROTO ROOTER.

Roto-rooter might get the job done, but it is a terrible experience along the way. The company does not care about the customer experience and just tries to get every dollar they can. They told me multiple times that my leak was category 1, but invoiced me for category 3 services.Their accounts payable clerk is trying to charge me even more money now because the company does not know what is even going on. Roto-rooter is aware there is a claim that needs to be processed through my insurance company, yet they are trying to strong-arm me before the insurance company can review their invoice.Even performing the services was a struggle for them. Their technician was not on the same page with the restoration manager. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other. Very frustrating experience.I will never use this company ever again. I would never recommend this company. Just a joke.

Our home was in the midst of a serious dilemma ON A SATURDAY MORNING no less, with a line blockage that was causing water back-up , backflow coming back up in the toilets and other pipes .....What to do ?!?!?!?! Right on schedule, didn't waste anytime getting the job done. Here within 2hrs of placing the initial call. Was a little worried about the costs, but was actually not bad at all. I would definitely recommend to other homes and businesses in the area!
Fast friendly service. Knowledgeable plumber came to my home the day after a total disaster was caused by another plumbing company. The other guys walked away leaving my family without water and no no apologies after working for almost 12 hrs. Roto-Rooter came out Sunday morning, fixed the other guys mess and got our water back on in 4 hrs. Well worth the money I paid Roto-Rooter.

The tech was very polite and professional. But I paid more than twice the amount that it should have cost to do the job. Then was told that it was not guaranteed because of a few rocks. Well just a few days later I had to call another plumbing company out to fix it. There was apparently still a lot of hair that was in there. Well that other company fixed it and for a lot less than you guys. So you guys are charging people more than double the cost and calling it a guarantee so thatβs not really a guarantee, that just double charging everyone. I will not be recommending you guys to no one at all.

I cancelled the appointment before they performed service because they kept changing the times when they would arrive. They started with a window of between 4 and 8 PM on Saturday. I finally called them at 830 and they told me it would probably be another two hours. Rather than wait, I rescheduled the appointment for Monday between 8am and 10 am. My wife took time off work to meet them. At 1030 I called them and asked when they would arrive, again they told me it would be another two hours. At this point I simply cancelled the service.They may be great plumbers who do wonderful work, but this company is not respectful of people's time.
Technician figured out the problem immediatly, showed me on the scope where tge problem was and fixed it right away on a Sunday. Excellent service, nice guy, I'm very happy.

I did appreciate the quick response with a sewage backup and drain clearing. Thank you. I DID NOT appreciate the $3500 quote to repair a broken sewer line that was 3 feet underground (not under concrete or roots). City of Irving repaired the broken line for free after I called a different plumber. Roto Rooter wouldnβt even tell me where it was actually broken. They didnβt seem fair at all.

The plumber came within 2 hours of my emergency call. He was extremely professional and fixed the issue with the plumbing. I would definitely use again.
Contacted and immediately they came out about 1-2 hours after initial contact. Very professional and quick on identifiting the problems and fixing the solutions. Pricing was not cheap but not expensive either. Having peace of mind was worth the cost of a fast and effective job.

Ben called before he arrived and was a bit early. He diagnosed my problem differently than I expected as a main line clog rather than close to the sink draining poorly. He had to work for three hours sometime in the rain to snake and inspect the drain pipe. The cost was still below the first estimate. He kept the floors clean everytime he entered the house. I couldn't ask for more.

Service was good everything was easy and to the point. Only took 15 mins. to clear out a clean out in the backyard. Technician did not clean up any of the overflow, which is expected, but at a bill of 260$ and now still having to clean up I think the amount is not equal to the service. I am appreciative of the ease, but if it wasnβt such an issue and I had more time to shop around I would have used another company. Seems like everythingβs good just extremely dissatisfied with the price.

Late last night our toilets started to leak water from the base, you can imagine the secnario. We called Roto-Rooter around 8ish and the person didn't come out till 12!! By then we got the situation under control and the guy was nice don't get me wrong and he charged for after hours coming out I understood as well but we could not pay the price he was asking for. Today we called again since it would be during hours and Steve came out. He checked what was going on and walked me through what he would be doing. He was patient with me on answering my questions (i had a lot) he did not try to upsell me. He let me know the issue we had and fixed it he also advised me about further preventing the issue. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing issue
The man was very prompt and pleasant, explained everything and then fixed the problem. There was a modest upcharge for a Sunday morning, but they told me about it on the phone in advance, and I was happy to pay it. I would heartily recommend them.

Had a flood that affected upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and laundry room. RR came out promptly, informed us thoroughly, and took care of our home with everything cleared and ready within a couple days. Dustin (Lead Water Restoration Technician) is the man! He knows his stuff so well and handled the bulk of the water restoration process. He also knows the inside and out of the financial aspect and helped us talk to our insurance company to decide the best way to pay. (Insurance company didnβt even know some stuff was covered, but he did.)Happy our water damage is reversed and our home is a-ok! Thanks, RR!(P.S. Wes was very professional and excellent⦠He was articulate about the problem and explained it very well⦠He was on time and did a great job.
Price was very expensive and about twice as much as we thought it would end up. Several bricks had to be removed but plumber didnβt know how to replace Brick with mortar so thatβs yet another expense we will have to burden. Alex was fast and courteous.
Christian slayed. I had a jacked up urinal and he took care of it quick like. The seal was leaking and it was clogged. He didnβt cut corners with the repair and did exactly what was needed. Thanks, man.

The Roto-Rooter technician was awesome. He came in and evaluated the situation. He gave me options and we proceeded from there. I canβt read his name on my receipt (Ud***). He was terrific. He had a βcan do,β attitude. The fixtures I had were the originals and he had issues getting some of the equipment off. He didnβt give up, though. Also no plumberβs crack alert. Thatβs worth four stars alone. :-)

Updating review after Roto followed up. Technicians came out multiple times on warranty claim after snaking drain... last time they said they'd send a camera. After diagnosis (6 months later) turns out I have roots in pipes

I called Roto-Rooter to have some plumbing work done quickly. I needed to have a new garbage disposal installed as well as three valves under the kitchen sink replaced. I called on a Saturday and the work was scheduled to be done on the following Monday. The plumber showed up right on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the service provided.

Very frustrated from start to finish. Difficult to schedule, had to reschedule multiple days due to plumber not being able to come. Plumber lied about going under the house to confirm the problem was fixed. I have no faith that the problem we wanted to fix was addressed. I am calling another plumbing company to reasses. I will NEVER use Roto rooter again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I am very impressed. From start to finish. Fast, friendly, professional, ready, and willing. Customer service was at a 300 with the people I interacted with. I was notified every step of the way and received a call when there was a delay. Service on a Saturday and the tech that arrived at my house was very knowledgeable. I was educated on the issue and what my plumbing was like. The condition and options available. After the evaluation and discussion the tech started working. He did a great job. He was efficient but not in a hurry. I am very impressed with Alex. Roto-rooters brand was presented very well today. I do not want any plumbing problems but if I get any I will be happy to work with them again.
Roto-rooter came out today to fix a sanitary line separation that had occurred. Did a great job fixing the piping joint / separation and working in a tight space between deck posts, and they did some quick real-time problem solving to make it work. Finished the job in about 6.5 hours, including time for lunch. I should also mention they worked around my tight schedule and were very awesome about it.The only reason I took off a star is because I had to hire a few outside companies to do the deck work, which was a pretty expensive hassle on top of the plumbing issues. That being said if this job had been 100% managed by Roto-rooter I probably would have given 5 stars.Roto-rooter, especially Alex and Alan, have been fantastic. I hope to not have to contact them again, but if something arises they are the first ones Iβll rely on. I will also be sure to refer my colleagues to them because I am just that happy with my experience with them thus far.

Ben with Roto Rooter came out on scheduled time and assessed the situation. After 2 attempts, we were able to clear the toilet paper stoppage out of the main sewer line, which had backed up the lines in two bathrooms, including the tub in one bathroom and the shower in the other bathroom. Very professional and courteous. Reasonable price. They also video scoped the entire sewer line for any other obstructions or problems. Also left a quote for CIPP ( Cured-in-Place-Pipe lining) for future consideration. House built in 1961 with cast iron sewer system.
They were quick and solved a huge issue we were having with our drains.

We called Roto-Rooter because the condensation drain line from our air conditioner units was clogged. The intake operator was helpful and scheduled service to occur within 2 hours. He quoted a price of $90 - $250. An hour later, the service tech called in advance and arrived timely. We showed him where the trouble existed. He quoted a price of $290. He retrieved his snake machine, inserted the working end into the stand pipe, ran the machine for not more than 10 minutes (more like 5), and declared the work was done. He returned with an invoice for $290, which we paid. The service was acceptable, but the charge was not. Apart from the time to travel to our house, a 10 minute job costing $290 is about $1,750/hr. If the job took only 5 minutes (probably did), the charge is closer to $3,500/hr. I feel we were exploited because of the circumstances. Live and learn. Kelly Akins

The experience was very positive. I got a call for clarification within an hour of calling for the appt. The technician arrived within the next 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and began working to fix it. He replaced my garbage disposal which was leaking. He worked quickly and took care of it. Just to clean the main $425? Jack the reaper very pricy and takes advantage of your situation. it should not cost more than $125-$175 I have done this job many times to my rental properties, I asked ahead of time how much they refused to tell me that. Then they came and assessed the situation, they saw the situation is bad the water is coming out they up the price, if the situation is not so bad and we could have waited they would not charge me so much because I could have called someone else, so they assess your desperation and charge by that not by the effort or time. Dishonest, very cunning. Stay far far away. the reviews are misleading and they must have a scheme for that too.Update: just spoke to them and they wanted to reduce the price by $75 which is nice I will take that they said they will apply a coupon that is available online, but when pressed why you charge almost triple from anyone else they said they do preventive steps which includes using camera to see the line, asked where is the camera report, they called me back and wanted to setup a time to send someone with camera (huh?) so they do not do the camera by default and you would have to ask for it? then they lied again, and moreover when pressed they said we will produce a report and if you reject the recommendation there is additional charge for the report which I assume is also an arm and a leg. The business practice highly misleading at best and I think we need to raise the bar on this business who pray on human sufferings.

The only issue I had was reaching them. I use a cell phone, so the toll free number routed me to the California offices. They gave me s number to reach my local service, but that number was out of service. So I looked them up on the web site, called that local number, and everything was fine.

I had an awful smell in my house called a plumber they over quoted me called Roto-Rooter hired them because they were a reputable company and I have to tell everyone please do not use this company. They are awful. I was lied to on multiple occasions by several different people. The sales men gave us the run around they started the work came for 4 hours and said they couldn't finish and that someone would be reaching out I never heard so I called no answer no response. Every time I called their office to try to get an update they told me someone would call me back nut no one did. I am so disappointed. I was told it would take two days to do the work turns out what I was quoted didn't even need to get replaced. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber hands down. Found the best product for keeping our drain line clear and Roto Rooter delivers same day service.
They showed up an hour after the 2 hour window. Then he sat in the car for an hour in front of our house talking on his cell phone. He charged us $375 and didn't fix the problem. I ended up needing to call a different company 2 days later. That company fixed it the right way for 1/4 the price. Don't bother with these people. They're just in it for the money.

We are so pleased with the service provided. We called several 24/7 plumbing companies and they did not have availability until several days yet they advertise 24/7 service. It was 1am and it was an emergency situation with my tub and toilet backing up. One call to Roto Rooter and Jeff Martinez was our plumber. He arrived in less than an hour and unclogged the drain. Roto-Rooter of Irving, Tx did a great job drying out the carpets and bathroom area of my 4 year old's room. She left a faucet turned on during the night, which I found in the morning. The initial response team arrived within 1.5 hours of being called, and we had fans and dehumidifiers going shortly after that. I was heading out of town for the weekend, but the technicians monitored the progress of the drying throughout the entire time. The team is punctual, and if they get behind schedule they will call to let the property owner know. I would definitely recommend them!

The plumber that arrived was professional and knowledgeable. Itβs also a plus that he didnβt mind getting my familyβs waste water sprayed on him while snaking the lines. I chose them because the work is guaranteed for 120 days and comes with a complimentary camera snake done on all the lines. This is a huge plus as we recently purchased our home and would love to have a better idea as to how our pipes are under the home.4 stars because not every technician has a camera and we have to wait another week for this service.
Due to a mix-up with my home warranty company I had to choose a plumbing service outside my network....so after reading reviews I chose Roto-Rooter. I was so anxious about the cost since I was so used to paying a set amount for any service call but once Norris arrived to fix my urgent plumbing issues I was immediately put at ease. He was professional, courteous and took the time to explain the various troubleshooting options he thought would be necessary to fix my problems. He tried many different things to save me money...and oh my gosh my 1970 year old pipes in a 2 story home were quite a challenge ...the total charge was so much less than I expected. In fact it was 50% less. Norris sincerely cared about fixing my plumbing problems and his work came with a 6 month guarantee. I was so happy with the outcome and the peace of mind he provided. Professional, courteous, reliable and affordable service. Can't improve on that!
I had a great experience! The dispatcher called me a few times to schedule the service and then again to provide an update on the technicians arrival time. When the technician arrived, he was very nice and professional and cautious of my house/flooring. I would definitely recommend.
I usually do not give negative reviews if it's minor dissatisfaction. However, this plumbing company doesnβt make that list. I selected this vendor for a big project (total cost was around $16K). I thought they did a pretty good job until the issue started showing. The pipe they installed inside my wall now makes a noise as soon as I use any of the taps. I called the plumbing company, and they sent a person who told me they have to cut the wall to fix that noise and that will charge me for that work. After paying them $16K, I need to pay them for the problem their team created. COME ON!!!!I didnβt agree and after that, I have been trying to reach their plumbing manager department (5 calls already made). BELIEVE ME, I have proof, they are avoiding me, I can hear them on the phone where the admin person trying to divert my call to voice message as the plumbing manager doesnβt want to speak with me. Now thatβs great customer service, isnβt it?The first impression is they are ok (I encountered maybe 7 team members in this project, and out of those 7, 3 were really nice. Especially Angel, from the water damage restoration department) and I thought they did a good job, but man when it matters the most (where things go wrong) and you need them they leave you alone. We are still sleeping with that noise (and my daughter sometimes asks, when will that noise goes away) and still calling them hoping they will fix that noise. Looks like I do have to file a legal claim to them to get their attention. A COMPANY THAT YOU CANT TRUST!!!!

Our experience with you guys was wonderful! We were extremely disappointed about our bedroom flooding almost 2 inches from the bathroom. Then Less explained to me what was going on with our shower and even gave me a quick, mini tutorial about how the plumbing pipes work. He was very knowledgeable and confident that they could not only fix the problem, but find the root cause. Less was very professional and upfront, but also very friendly and courteous. He gave us hope and helped us to feel more comfortable about the situation. Itβs very embarrassing to have to call someone to come into your home with fecal matter floating in your house, but Less made us realize that things could have been much worse. That really, things were not all that bad in our lives that day. Having that type of customer service may not seem important to some, but for my family it meant the world! Very unprofessional place and completely crooked, group of plumbers were at my house while i was at work and tried to strong arm my wife into paying 650 dollars for a leak on my main line. I ended up going to home depot and getting the 10 dollars worth of materials to fix leak myself and saved 640 dollars. Do not trust these guys or price's they are crooks

Only giving a 1 star in order to give a review should be a -5 star. Ad says free estimate what is really meant is they will come out for you to tell them the shower is leaking which was told to them over the phone and then guy without even looking says it will be $260 to remove the face plate to see if it is leaking. That is not including any repairs. Absolutely ridiculous!

We called roto rooter out for a plumbing job, snaking a toilet, last Sunday. They let us know that they needed to get someone out who could scope it and would contact us the following day, and that the charge wouldn't be put through on the card until the next person finished the scope. No one called the next day and by 3pm we called to find out what was up and they scheduled an appt for the next day between 9-11. They also went ahead and just put that charge through on our card. Next day rolls around, no call/no show by the plumber. We finally called out of frustration to cancel this appointment nobody bothered to show for, and called another company. We also requested a supervisor get back to us and again, nothing.Update: supervisor reached out to us to make things right.
Excellent work today, 01/11/2019, by Clayton, Service Tech, with Roto Rooter, Irving, TX office. Clay removed kitchen faucet and faucet spray that was leaking and replaced with new beautiful faucet with two handles instead of one. Good, fast work at a reasonable cost. I will call on Clay again for all my plumbing needs. I highly recommend Clayton.

A bit pricey but you get a 90 day warranty.
Next day service. Very courteous and polite. Repaired a sink faucet instead of replaced. I have used them before and haven't been disappointed with anything about them. Christian was one of the most courteous people to walk through our door doing repairs in our office. It goes a long way.

Same day service. The plumber was very fast and efficient. However, it seemed quite pricey especially since I supplied the replacement part.
Our main sewer line was blocked due to some roots. We called Roto-rooter and they came in two hours. They were very professional: they explained every part of the procedure, they gave us recommendations, and they were very transparent about the price and what is covered. Their prices are a bit higher than others but it is worth it.
I called on a Sunday and they were able to get someone out that same day. They let me know as soon as he (Moe) was on his way. He let me know, up front what he planned to do and what the charge would be. He was polite, professional and efficient. He answered all of my questions showed me the progress as it was made. Moe was very determined to make sure that the issue was fixed before he left. He made sure that everything was tested to ensure that I was satisfied with his work. I was very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely use Roto Rooter again.
Coming out on a Saturday night for a decent price. Iβll leave a good review every time.

We had a leak in our bathroom, and we called to see if they serviced mobile homes. They were out to our home within an hour of calling them. The tech gave us a quote, we agreed, and an hr later he was done. He was very friendly, and made sure that we were satisfied with the work that he did. Erik was amazing! He was right on time, asked questions, walked around the house, located the value covers, ran tests and diagnosed the issues. Erik started and completed the rooter procedure on both toilets and was done in less than 45 minutes! Only giving one star because zero stars was not an option. I would NEVER recommend. I called them to install my dishwasher and asked for a ballpark quote. They said they could not give me any sort of quote over the phone. Once the technician came out he told me they charge $315/hr for labor as a standard fee. Why couldnβt anyone tell me this over the phone before they charged me the $70 consult fee if it was a flat rate?! He ended up quoting me $900 to INSTALL my dishwasher, that is more than my nice stainless steel Frigidaire dishwasher cost itself!! I called to explain my frustration and try and get my $70 consult fee back as I found this extremely shady and of course I get passed around to different managerβs voicemails and cannot get anyone to return my call. Not to mention the fact they were supposed to show up on Thursday from 2-6pm and I got a call 2 hrs into my 4hr window telling me someone couldnβt come out that day and had to be pushed to Friday after I had already rearranged my schedule. I ended up having ABC home and commercial services out the same day I contacted them to install for $180 total! ROTO ROOTER IS SHADY, OVERPRICED AND HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BEWARE!
First, let me say Dusty was informative and was willing to teach me his entire process when I asked.Based on his professionalism and willingness to answer all my questions, I will use this company and request him personally in the future.I canβt really say how competitive this company is compared to other plumbers since this is the first one i called. I paid $275 dollars to have an expansion tank replaced on a water heater and it took about 45 minutes to complete complete.I will reach out to other plumbing companies now to see if Roto Rooter is competitive and I I got the best value for this repair.

We had were having issues with out toilets and called Roto Rooter to have someone come and help us out. They sent Andrew and David and they helped us out with our issue. Andrew was able to identify the issue and fix our problem. As contractor myself we work hard to deliver exceptional service and Andrew and David did not disappoint. They were on time, communicated when they were to arrive. They explained everything that needed to be done. The technician cleaned out the clogged drain fast and efficiently but I felt we were overcharged. We ordered a plumber via telephone on the morning of 10/29/2018 and we were given a time frame of between 2-5, to expect a technician. The technician did not show up until 7:29pm and then I believe he charged us an after hour surcharge even though it was not reflected on our receipt. I telephoned today and at first was told that we had been charged a $50.00 after hours service fee, but then the employee denied it. We should not be charged for after hours service due to Roto Rooters delay in their arrival time. This was not an urgent need as the drain clog was in a spare bathroom. I will admit, Parker came to our house and fixed one our problems. In the process, the machine used shorted out half of my house. No lights. I have called numerous times and given the runaround. 2 weeks later and still not able to get a manager on the phone. Just be careful when plugging their equipment to your outlets. They do not follow up. Very disappointing.

Christian was very professional and found the broken pipe and fixed it . Then told us thing's we could do to prevent another pipe breaking because of the freezing temperatures.
They came out on Thanksgiving day due to a backer up sewer line. Worked hard to clear the line as best they could. Camera showed the cities line was damaged & blocked by roots. The process got us going until the city could come out the following week.
The plumbers I had were great. They did everything in their ability to get the job done. Very knowledge and friendly. Thanks much for fixing our issue!

As the winter storm Elliot came crashing in, I discovered my water heater had flooded my garage. New to town, I reached out to Roto Rooter and they had a plumber out in a couple of hours. Robert assessed my situation to find out that the water heater had rusted through AND it wasnβt installed up to code. He worked diligently on the replacement and bringing it up to code in a freezing cold garage! He never complained and worked all afternoon then came back the next morning to finish up! Did professional work and explained what had to be done and why. Rather expensive but not totally unexpected. My only real complaint is how long it took to line up a digging crew to come out and do the needed excavation, and camera work couldn't be done on a weekend plus camera guy couldn't show up when he was supposed to. There were also conflicting statements from dispatch crew vs my local overseer. What should have taken maybe a couple of days stretched to four but they worked with me so I could return to my job.

Our main line was clogged. Called Roto-rooter and they were at our house in under 30min on a Saturday morning holiday weekend. Andres, Ozzie, and Grant were courteous and professional, up front on pricing (ouch), and got the job done well. They also identified root cause and put together estimates of some different options to mitigate clog in the future.
I needed an emergency hydrojet of a clogged sewer trunk line for a home I was building in Dallas. My normal plumber was out 3 days for jetting service. Roto-Rooter was there the next day and took care of the issue. I was impressed not only by their timeliness, but also the professionalism of the service tech Blake that was sent out. 5 out of 5 stars; I would (and will) use Roto-Rooter again!

NEGATIVE: This is the first time i called a 24/7 plumbing services because i saw the outside garden wall pipe was dripping.. though not that great of emergency ..considering the freeze temp i wanted to take care of it right away..i googled and found rotorooter listed top. i called 1800 # on saturday and all i was told was $69.99 for the tech to come out the earliest is sunday morning.. based on the repair the price varies. i already told on the phone what the issue was and the tech came without any replacement parts nxt day.. he stops by removes the 2 (only one was leaking.. but i was prepared to fix both) pipes completely and tells me better to spend on replacement than fixing. i agreed. and he without letting me the labour he hurries upto the car and went away to nearby hardware tools (Home depot i guess which is 7 miles away).. he did not show up for 25 mts ..i had to call customer service to find where he is.. then he comes back replaces 2 of my garden pipes..takes him less than 10 mts each.. i asked him the price ..he said $299/hr and that he spent 1.5 hours already ..he shows me invoice of $448 for labor and $147 for parts.. when asked show me the receipt of parts from HD..he says we dont give it to customers....he did not let me know the price upfront before touching the pipes ..the company was not transparent on prices..this is way too expensive for such small job...we are not in NY gods sake .

I asked to see a picture of the final repair and my request was ignored. For a $901 repair that started at $390 you would think a picture would not be too much to ask. Having to call a plumber on a cold, rainy Sunday to fix a leak flooding your garage isn't the most fun thing to have to do on a weekend,. But, if you have to do it, Roto-Rooter is the place to call.We had a serious backup of the kitchen sink, that somehow ended up flooding the garage through an old sink outlet. Called Roto-Rooter Sunday morning around 8:00 and by 10, Dan, one of their service techs was at the door. Have lived in our house 35 years we have had to call plenty of plumbers, electricians, carpet cleaners, etc., over the years, and none can compare with Dan. Great sense of humor, and fun to talk to, Dan was very professional in figuring out where the problem probably lay, and set about quickly fixing it, while explaining what he was doing every step of the way.We, of course, hope we never need a plumber again to fix a leak, but if we do, it will certainly be Roto-Rooter, and Dan, that we'll call.

Recently, my home service warranty company called out Roto-Rooter for a clogged drain on my behalf. The two-man team arrived promptly and cleared the drain quickly. During this time they performed a camera inspection and told me they found a break in the line and an offset of the pipes which was causing the problem. The technician also told me that the outflow pipe was not longer up to code and would need to be changed. He told me that this section alone was a major repair and could exceed $5000.00. According to him, they would also need to repair the break farther into the yard. Needless to say, the cost of this repair would come close to exceeding the maximum insurance coverage.The Roto-Rooter tech also promoted the services of the water damage repair service heavily, telling me my insurance would pay for the cleanup. (home-owners insurance)Per the agreement with Homeserve, Roto-Rooter needed to submit the quote and the camera documentation to the warranty company before I could get approval for the repair. Here's where the trouble begins. A day or so later, the technician dropped off the repair quote on my doorstep and told me that I needed to contact the warranty company myself. When I contacted Homeserve, they told me this was not my responsibility, it was Roto Rooters. Even after repeated calls from the warranty company to Roto-Rooter, they could not get Roto-Rooter to provide the camera inspection. I even provided the direct business phone for the technician. Still, the camera with the documentation of the breaks, seemed to have magically disappeared.This delay continued for a couple of weeks before I began to question the accuracy of the inspection by Roto-Rooter and their apparent difficulty with producing the inspection. At this time both the home warranty company and I determined it would be best to have a new contractor come out and perform a new inspection. When the new company arrived, I learned that there was nothing wrong with the out flow area, that it did not need to be replaced. Neither was there a problem in the area marked by the Roto Rooter tech, nor was there a pipe offset. The actual problem was farther into the yard which the new technician clearly demonstrated with the camera. Once the new company submitted the claim the job was approved within one day.Today was the final straw. I just received a bill in the mail for over $658.00 dollars. It is addressed to Home Serve (the warranty company) with my address. Seriously?A word of advice to other homeowners. Be very cautious of this national chain with their inflated prices and services. If you receive a high-priced quote with expense repairs, consider getting a second opinion. You might save yourself a mint!

We just moved in our new home and unfortunately every waterline in our house was backing up. Called Roto-Rooter about 8:30 and they were out at 11 that morning. The plumber was professional and worked for hours to get out lines clear. Unfortunately it took them awhile but they were persistent to make sure every line was fixed. My washing machine line kept backing up and overflowing in my laundry room. The plumber mopped and cleaned it every time. (Iβm 8 months pregnant or I would have done it) My water heater also went out and the plumber was able to get it going again. Iβm so glad I called them! They are true experts and first class professionals!

Jacob G. Came to do some work on our drains today - he was absolutely amazing and extremely professional. We really appreciate the honesty and great prices, also we really like that he took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to our sink and the repairs that needed to be done with time. AJ the supervisor also showed up to our home and was able to give us a quote for more repairs that our home will need with time - we are extremely satisfied with how today went and we will be using them in the close future. There was a chance for the job to be delayed by a week as the cap was not in stoc, and would have to be ordered. The technician, Uduado ran around Town to SOURCE other companies for the cap as the job was urgent because the buyers were closing. I commend the extra effort. The job was completed successfully. It was cheaper than the price i was quoted by another plumbing company. Thank you for great service.

Had a plumbing emergency. Called a few places and no one could get out here for another few days. Then I called Roto-Rooter.Start to finish, the service was great. The woman who answered the phone seemed genuine and wanted to help. They sent a plumber (Ian) within a couple hours, maybe not even a full two hours later. Ian was kind and courteous. He knew his stuff and had our plumbing issue fixed in under an hour. I'm glad they're the company we went with! Thanks, Ian!Edit: Xavier came out later (after I wrote this review or I would have included him in the original post) and ran a camera down our pipes to find what caused the issue. He walked me through the video as he was running the camera, pinpointed where the problem was, and gave us a quote on how much that fix would be. He was also kind and courteous. Thanks Xavier!

Can out in just over an hour on a Sunday night. Knowledgeable and got the job done fast. Price seemed a little steep, $450 for about 15 minutes of work plus setting things up. Overall happy with the service
The response time was good but we had to have them come on a Sunday and that was an additional charge. Our total bill was quite a bit more than we expected as it kept going up with extra charges. Next time I will be clear as to what is to be done and for what price. I felt like I was nickel and dimed.
Be careful there are many local entities with Rooter in their name, but there is only one Roto-Rooter. I thought that I was going to have wait a long time for an appointment; no so . They were ready to come out within 2 hours of my call. Very respectful of my home, the tech was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and quick. Perfect experience.

I used Roto-Rooterβs service to get my Dish Washer blockage fixed. Cody did an excellent job getting this issue fixed. I would highly recommend using Roto Rooterβs service for plumbing issues in your home. Price was reasonable at: $109.00 per service call. The important part of this call was the he got the issue identified and fixed within an hour.
We called this company to come fix a pipe that was leaking underneath my grandparents house. They came and dug under the house to replace the pipe and after they left dirty water was coming from the faucets and when trying to use the hot water cold water was coming out. My grandma tried to call them multiple times and was told that they would get back with her. They never returned our calls and we had to contact another company who came out and told us that under the house was flooded and that they connected the wrong pipes. These people are unprofessional. They charged thousands of dollars for a terrible job.

When my husband called the Roto Rooter company, the receptionist said it would be 2 hours before the service man would be here, but she was wrong. He was at our door within the hour we called. My husband unlocked the gate to let him into our back yard, and less than 30 minutes he was ableTo fix the problem. When my husband came into the house to tell me to write a check, my husband had fallen on our ramp we recently had built. When I looked outside, the young man was sweeping off the mud and the ice from our ramp. It brought me to tears. He was such a nice young man, very professional, one could tell he had a heart for people. He didnβt leave until he had cleaned the mud from the ramp. The technician was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. But when I booked the appointment I was told a low and high cost for the appointment. I was expecting to pay the higher amount but then was told because he had to go from roof to clean out the cost was $150 above the highest cost. If you call them be sure and ask for costs associated with roof clean out also. He did take care of the problem and charged me $50 less than what he first told me. Not sure if I would use them again. Expensive!!

Arrived on time, understood problem, fixing problem took a little more time than usual, cleaning good for 90 days.
We have a contract with a sewer line service company. Completely useless so we called Roto Rooter. The service man Kody was absolutely customer focused. Our line from house to city sewer was clogged. Cleared the line and used s camera to view the line as it runs right next to a huge oak. I was able to view the line and now have a good idea about future requirements. Kody answered all of my questions. He arrived on time.
In a world full of scammers and over-chargers, these guys are the real deal. Chuck was super helpful and clearly focused on doing the right thing for me as the customer. Very much appreciated.
Justin explained all he was doing and why, very professional and on time as he had committed. Also alerted me when he was close to arrival and taped down plastic to protect flooring and other areas.

I had a clog in my line and went with roto rooter service. They came out super fast and cleared the issue up in a flash. Jeffrey Martinez was my tech. He was very professional and friendly. Explained everything he was doing and even tips to prevent future clogs. I'll definitely use them again in the future.If you need fast and reasonably priced services. Call roto rotor.
Had the sewage pipe backup. They came out and took care of it in about an hour. Professional and courteous. Erik found the issue and resolved it. Will recommend the services to others.

The sevice was fast efficient and the tech was very respectful and considerate he did his work and made it a point to do as much clean up as allowed without it going into the cost of my situation me being home alone as my husband was unable to be here the tech did not in any way make me feel uncomfortable being alone with him in my home he gave me advice on how to avoid any further problems and kindly offered me gloves to assist in my cleaning up after he left best experiance ive ever had by far I would definitely reccomend this company over any other as it was well worth it for a great price too

Oct 2020 review: The technician repaired the outdoor faucet as requested; however, the area around the repaired faucet is a mess with unmatched mortar and uneven finish. They were quick to respond and did a good job, but the price was outrageous for clearing a single one and a half inch upstairs sink line during regular business hours with no rush request. Over $200 for 15 minutes.
I been using this company for years and never disappointed. Very prompt, knowledgable and i have had every single issue solved each visit and on the first appointment. Roto-Rooter plumbers Dave and Tyler left my house like this after claiming that the compression nut and sleeve couldn't be removed.. I can't believe that professional plumbers have never heard of a compression sleeve puller tool.Today(6-21-2022), supervisor John & tradesman James came out and corrected the plumbing procedure that was initially performed by the previous technician & his apprentice last week. John stated that going forward he would ensure that the technicians clearly explain what they are doing to the customers, and if they can't do a particular process that the customers know this in advance. This will avoid future misunderstandings by what is communicated to the customer from the technicians. Supervisor John & tradesman James extended the pipes without cutting additional sheet rock. Had the first technician and his apprentice removed the compression sleeve and nut, they could have cut and extended the pipe without cutting the sheetrock at all.However, the fix by supervisor John and his tradesman James will make it easier for the homeowners (us) to install new sheetrock. Supervisor John also purchased a new Kitchen Sink Drain with basket for the customer to replace a corroded nut on the bottom of the drain to repair a leak that we didnβt know we even had. Supervisor John and tradesman James did an outstanding job to correct the work performed by the previous technicians.The homeowners are satisfied with the corrected work (pictures attached). The sheetrock will still have to be replaced, but this shouldn't be a difficult task.One final caveat, make sure you research how your problem can be resolved before any technician arrive so that you can be prepared to state what you are willing to accept as a solution.
Came out on Sunday to snake the kitchen sink. Weekend service call was reasonable but charge was much higher than was expected. However it was timelier than doing without the kitchen on a weekend.
