Mark knew his business and was very professional. I was given a very competitive estimate for new gas lines and the job was completed quickly and passed the city inspection with no problems. Highly recommended.

We had called a plumber about a backed up drain, that plumber said that we had a collapsed pipe and quoted us $12,000 to dig under our house, pull out the pipe and replace it. Obviously we called for other opinions and Smith Plumbing was recommended by a friend.
When they came out they asked to do their own analysis of the situation. We agreed. After working for an hour they were able to UNCLOG our pipe and get the water draining better than it ever has! I would highly recommend this company!

We have used Smith Plumbing Company exclusively since we bought our house 40 years ago. We have replaced our kitchen sink, extended outside faucet lines, replaced an outside faucet, replaced a disposal, and kitchen sink faucets. Had a couple of blockage issues along the way, too. It was only natural that I would call them when we decided to upgrade our toilets to cut down on water usage. I have NEVER had anything but excellent service from them. Extremely informative, friendly, prompt. Do a great job. As I was finding the phone number, I happened to run across this site where people wrote reviews. I teased Chris when I called to make an appointment. How come he has bad reviews?? He said several of the reviews were submitted by people who have never used the services of the company!!!
Hopefully prospective customers will consider this when deciding on a plumbing company!

We’ve used Smith Plumbing twice, one of those times for replacing 1970’s underground cast iron pipe on a rental home. They are knowledgeable and take the time to explain what they’re doing, and we were very pleased with their work on both occasions.

My plumber was very friendly and professional. Would recommend them.

We received prompt, courteous service at what we considered a reasonable price. They replaced an outside faucet, kitchen sink faucet and a toilet. They were very professional and explained everything to me before repairs and after. My brother is deaf, they patiently attempted communication with him, they had to talk to me via phone and also went next door to my sister's house to communicate with us.
I will definitely be using their services in the future.

My home warranty company dispatched this company to my house for a clogged toilet repair. My mistake pumping the toilet to make it operational while I wait for my appointment. My appointment was initially scheduled for Monday and they came out the Friday prior to the scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, I was not home and had to have a family member come to my house because 1) the technician stated he’s trying to get to my home before it rains and 2) because he didn’t want to come to my home at the time proposed. They were just not flexible from the start. Fast forward....he comes to my home and per the owner flushed the toilet “20” times and nothing was wrong with the toilet that I had just plunged hours before he got there. I get home and called the plumber to see if he can educate or shed some light on the visit since I wasn’t present during his visit. He tells me “you’re just trying to find something wrong with the toilet and there’s nothing wrong.” I called the owner to let him know of my experience and he pretty much didn’t want to hear anything and told me that Terry (the technician) had already informed him of what happened. Based on all the other unpleasant reviews, I would NOT recommend them in your home to service your needs.

Didn’t show, had us waiting all day and never called, when I checked with my warranty company they lied and said they called and got no answer, they probably didn’t want to drive too my location, they should hv just said that because now we Hv to find somebody else and my sinks are still stopped up. I’d give no stars if I could!

The service was excellent. We recieved same day service it took them about an hour to come out. Very honest people they could have taken $100 more but he came back and said he told his boss he thought $188 was a little to high for coming out and insert the cameras underneath the house. We were just very thankful we had no leaks but God bless this honest man. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs I highly recommend them.

Smith Plumbing (no relation) has done all the plumbing at my residence for 20+ years. This includes adding a re-routed drain, broken pipes under the foundation, clogged drains and a few other problems. Always prompt and works with my insurance company.

Love, Love, Love this plumbing company. When I called on 2/19/21, after the winter storm Gunner answered the phone and advised that they had been closed as well, but asked my issue, my name, address and phone number. He advised that he would call me back by end of business. A few hours later I received that call advising a plumber would be out the next day!! WOW!! On Saturday, the next day the plumber was here to fix the issue. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
I will definitely use Smith for all my plumbing needs.

These guys are the BEST! I had an emergency at my elderly mom's house and they went out there on Father's day weekend and I cannot thank them ENOUGH ♥️

Prompt but pricey.

They got to our house in Arlington soon after the freeze when our pipe broke. Thought it was going to be a simple fix but pipe wasn't where it was supposed to be underneath the faucet. It took him a lot of work to find it but he worked until he found it and replaced it. He showed me his Texas State plumbing license. They cleaned up after themselves. Won't use another plumber. I'm a hard person to please so if I was pleased that is HUGE. Highly recommend them.

The guys at Smith Plumbing always do a great job and usually can get to my repair in less than 24 hours. I have used several other plumbers in the area. They are, by far, the most courteous and accommodating of any. They are fair with their prices too. Highly recommend them!

This is what it looks like after they've finished their work. I didn't expect them to repair the drywall, but they didn't bother vacuuming up the dust they made. Serval spots in the house where they cut through the drywall and left dust. They also sprayed blue liquid to find leaks and didn't wipe the excess off the walls. There are black scuff marks on the walls too. It's annoying that I need to clean up after them. I was originally told $625 to find the gas leak and repair it and was reassured that it would likely not go over $1000. My house had several leaks so it's understandable that I paid more, but after the first day they told me it was going to be $3500, almost 6 times the original price. Had they told me from the get go their hourly rate was $245/hr I could have easily done the math that one day for labor would be $2000 and would have had proper expectations of cost.
They did come out promptly and fixed the leak and got us running with gas again in 4 days despite the issues my house had. They seemed knowledgeable and experienced. I just wish there was more transparency in their rates and had cleaned up after themselves.

Edit: I found out they didn't file a permit with the city, which was required and expected. They also left all the old plumbing in the attic, which I have to clean up.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The worst experience EVER! Handymen are deployed as plumbers and all they do is mess up your hot water heater. A handyman name Sherman came to my house for a water heater issue. He was late one Friday evening by two hours so we had to reschedule. He was then late and hour and a half on the reschedule day. He flushed my heater and of course I paid a fee. (I later realized he flushed it incorrectly and almost caused permanent damage to my water heater.) after he damaged my water heater he quoted me a price of $1700 to replace my water heater went to Home Depot would have done it for $700. After several unsatisfying visits in which he arrive to my home late I decided to call a different plumber. That plumber flush my system a few times correctly and my water heater has been working perfectly every sense.

Small Hometown plumbing company they take the time to care about how you feel.

The work was done correctly, but the prices are unbelievably high, 250 over one leak, I had some one else fix several similar leak plus my sprinkler system for 150! There’s others for far cheaper I would not recommend this to anyone!

I hired Smith Plumbing Company after another company tried to sell me a $1500 valve replacement. Smith correctly identified that this was not the appropriate repair, and charged me less than $400 for a quick stem replacement, using better parts than I started with. Mike was quick, didn't make any mess, and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I am happy to say I finally found a plumbing company I trust, and will gladly recommend them to anyone!

Apparently their time is worth much more than yours. Becareful with this plumber he quoted me $600 last week, but now that im ready to do the work its $800! Wasted my time waiting for install 4 days now price is higher?
