Best Hot Water Heater Installation in Indianapolis IN

I called 2 professional plumbers, and two professional maintenance guys with years of experience. The first plumbers were trying to get me to install a new clean out access line that wasn’t necessary. The second plumber wanted almost twice the fee for hydro jetting. I had no idea of the cost. According to Google the average cost for hydrating in the Marion county area, is $350-750. Carters price was more than the prices I saw on Google but way less than the second plumber who offered financing. I would have went with them if the 12 months zero percent interest that i was supposed to be getting with them, had actually been noted in the contract. So two highly advertised plumbers in the area have deceptive ads and skeptical practices. Thanks Carters for not trying to take advantage of an elderly person!

Saturday afternoon had to call bc there was something wrong somewhere. Your guy Daniel was out super quick, listened to our problem, and went to work immediately to get us all fixed up. Daniel was super nice and got us back on track only a few hours after our initial call. Very reasonable price for the work, especially being on a weekend. Gave us info on maintenance and options for other services if/when we ever need them. Thank you so much Acme and thank you so much Daniel!!

I have used Hamm & Sons a few times. The service has always been great and the prices have been reasonable. It is very scary when you need plumbing work done. It is usually an emergency. I will continue to use Hamm & Sons.

My experience with B&W was a very positive. My concerns with my plumbing were due to fear of not passing a home inspection. But Michael of B&W kept my bill at the minimum cost of just a house visit.Thanks you guys.

We had a technician out to diagnose why our heater wasn't turning on. Although he did diagnose the problem correctly, he immediately jumped to recommending that we replace the whole system. Our HVAC system is only 8 years old. Turns out we could order the parts ourselves (even the ones that didn't need to be replaced, but just maybe should be considered in the near future) for just under $300 and was easily replaced without help. He quoted us $3700 for the whole system replaced and almost $900 to replace something that we replaced for under $200 alone. From the minute he sat down with us I could tell he was trying to sell us on replacing everything without any true cause. He also only showed my husband all of the information when we all sat down at the table when I was the one that made the call and who has the knowledge about the system. That was fairly offensive. I'm grateful I had the knowledge to know that this was completely unnecessary recommendations aimed to either replace our system or get us to sign up for a maintenance membership. Many other people might just assume he was being cautious and waste a lot of money. I called because of the great reviews of this company. I'm thoroughly surprised by our bad experience. Please think before you choose to replace a whole system just because it's getting up there in years. When most systems last 15-20 years, don't try to sell that at 8. Get a second opinion from someone who is willing to make the fix and who doesn't charge almost $600 for labor charges for something that took 15 minutes and 4 screws to fix.

The office staff is wonderful and they were extremely timely. He did diagnose the problem correctly. That is why I gave 3 stars and not 1.

Very professional , courteous and pleasant to work with. Installed my complete Gas line to my home , cleaned up any mess and did not leave until it was inspected. We had another company install a tankless water heater about 6 weeks earlier. It was working great. The Saturday before Easter, there was no hot water and when we looked at the unit itself, it had no power. We checked breakers, oulet, etc. and everything was showing good. I started calling around different companies who advertised 24/7 service but yet none of them had anyone on-call for the entire weekend. They told me that the 24/7 just meant that they answered the phone 24/7. Uh huh!! They all wanted to come first thing on Monday and I told each of them NO! I finally reached Gary at Mr. Waterheater and they do actually have an on-call 24/7. Gary was great and had Josh set up to come out which he was there inside of 2 hours after my call. After taking his time and checking everything out, he put his hand behind the on-off switch inside the panel and it flickered. Long story short, the factory had not installed one of the wires all the way and it came loose. Great job by all!! Would absolutely use them again without question. They couldn't be any nicer and they were extermely thorough and competent.

The technicians were highly knowledgeable and professional. They were right on time and were very helpful. They did not try to up sell us or talk us into unnecessary services. They are top notch! We will most certainly use them again and recommend them to friends and family.
