We had Hope out to our house to install a basement bathroom. Jeremy was very professional. He answered all our questions and was very easy going. Our house is older and He helped us with all our install and other random plumbing issues without going over our budget. Very appreciated and will work with again.

A friendly plumber gave me an estimate on fixing a leak in my crawl space and moving my water cutoff above my floor. Everything was good until the $750 estimate. This estimate was way, way too high. How do I know? After I declined, I went to Lowes and spent $100 on supplies, then fixed it myself in 2 hours. It would have been much less for Roby, as I had to buy tools and 100ft of pipe, when I only needed 4. In other words, if the professional was as slow as I am, they were asking $350/hour.

Plumbers need to figure out that with shark/gator bite connectors, amateurs can do a sufficient job easily. I would have preferred to pay a fair price to have a pro do the work, but I'm not interested in getting ripped off.

Where do I start?! Tony & his team have taken care of our plumbing (and natural gas) needs for years. They are always on time, do fantastic work, and bill me very fairly. We recently remodeled our kitchen and the Hellyer Plumbing team was there to find innovative solutions to complex problems. They are the only plumbing team I use personally and the only team I recommend to friends and family.

We're new homeowners as of 02/2016 and wanted an inspection of our hot water heater and other plumbing.

P & K offered us an appointment for the morning after I bought the offer here on another website--very prompt--for between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. When I asked if they could come after my husband finishes getting ready for work (8:15), they said no problem. :)

Danny called from 45 minutes away and arrived right on time by 9:30. He put on shoe covers, which I didn't expect but was very appreciative, and inspected our hot water heater, a Bradford White with a 6-year warranty that's now 15 years old... going on 16. We'd suspected the previous owners didn't get it routinely serviced, and Danny confirmed our suspicions. He told us the clacking sound we were hearing was the sediment from the hard water and that the whistle was the HWH working harder due to the sediment. Considering its age and condition, he recommended not flushing it (in case sediment was covering any rust) and making replacement a priority, but could be put off until it starts leaking.

Danny inspected the other plumbing and found two more issues, including a rag in the toilet tank as a jury rig! The joys of home ownership!!! He left us quotes for a HWH replacement ($1150 with new HWH included!) and the two other plumbing issues.

Also, after reading some reviews of plumbing companies, I know some people complained that giant stickers were left behind on their HWH. Danny asked my permission if I wanted a sticker, and I happily said yes. Easier to find the number! And it wasn't giant at all. :)

Everything went great, and we'll definitely be calling P&K again!

Hesli was who worked on our system. He was knowledgeable and offered several options to us. There was no pressure and in the end we are meeting with someone to replace our 22 year old system.

David was very prompt and professional. He did quality work for what I felt was a fair price. I will use him again if I have a plumbing need.

Northern Comfort Systems did an exceptional job. They have made a customer for life. They escalated our service to happen same day after several days without hot water. I was so thankful when they were able to assist us quickly and thoughtfully. The repair tech was communicative and super polite. Did an amazing job! I would not hesitate to call them if you are reading this review.

Guys were friendly but charged more for labor than advertised rates. Showed up at 8:50 was gone by 12:50 and charged $495 for labor. The bill was $5 over the quote but charged the quoted price but it seems like it should have been less seeing as he advertises $125 first hour and $85 hour after. I ended up paying $123.75 an hour. They did good work. I had a question after they left and he did return my call promptly. Would use again but would get clarity on labor cost first.
