Danny and his Indy Water Heater team are great at what they do in every way...period. Over the past couple of years in our house, they've replaced a water heater, installed new shower heads, fixed a stubborn toilet flush and bathroom faucet, reset a leaky pipe and more. Every job was done well. They've always arrived on time, provided an estimate with bigger jobs, taken care of the problem(s) efficiently and were very pleasant to deal with. This is the fourth project I've had repaired by Carters. I've been overly pleased each time from the minute the phones are answered until the job is complete and the repairmen walk out the door. Great quality work, knowledgeable employees that were always on time, in uniforms with a smile. I especially I liked the way the kept me informed of the current job as well as their explanations and options. They made the work very easy for me...when making decisions they were very helpful by answering all of my questions and explaining how or why. Bill said he could come the next day, and he did. He took out water heater, took it to Lowes, got a new one, installed it, had to make a trip for hardware since the old one wouldn't drain, and replaced a leaky pipe and put in a new valve. He checked all of the faucets in the house to make sure they all worked. He also swept up the mess before he left. I was VERY pleased with his work, very professional but personable, and the young man who came to help was just as polite and pleasant. I highly recommend!

If I could write a lower star I would, it's extremely unprofessional to not stick to set appointment times. We had an appointment set for this afternoon, the receptionist attempted to change the time, I cannot change my work schedule or coordinate things last minute. They were rude, unprofessional and unable to commit to a set time.
If you value your time, you're better going with another company. If you have time to spare and wait or communicate with a rude receptionists this is the company for you!

We just had a new gas line and water heater installed by some really great people at best indy. They are really knowledgeable and professional. We will use them for any of our future needs.

Damaged my floors - Had a water heater with a defunct gas valve. They came to replace it. A few days later I noticed the floor buckled with water damage. Pulled the plank up closest to the water heater and there was standing water under it. Extends to the wall of my laundry room. No damage near the washer so the obvious source is the water heater. Old one not leaking. New one not leaking. Used towels to clean water during install so there was a water issues at that time. They ignored my first call and contact via website. Second call they answered but took no accountability for the damage. Laughed at the suggestion the replace the damaged area. Unprofessional. Unaccountable. Bad hearted person to leave the job like that and leave the homeowner to deal with it.
