Best Plumber in the State.

I've never worked with a business like this before; for years now they have taken care of our septic tank, and it's always the same person who answers the phone, and she's amazing -- so professional, so nice, so willing to answer questions and talk about what needs to be done. Having someone like her handling customers is fantastic; I'm a definite fan of A+!! Thank you!

Easily made appointment and paid in advance the $89 dispatch fee, they showed when they said they would and I was given a 30 minute out call. Repairman said the water pump was out and recommended a new auto fill valve. Estimate was:
$425 for part and to replace pump
$175 fee for drain and fill of the system
$123 for auto fill and new isolation valve
Totaling $723. I thought this seemed like a lot but I did not know how much parts were.

The next day I sourced the parts locally and they were $172. Called Reggie at Discount to talk about the charge. Said he would call back when he figured something out. No call so far. I have talked to two other local businesses who both state this was about $200 over what it should have been.

I did not mention to the other two companies who did the work but they both asked if Discount Mechanical H&P had done the work.

Quality of work done was good but just way over-priced in my view.

Sound Mechanical has absolutely MISERABLE customer service. It is apparently not within the realm of possibility that this company can make a mistake. When we mentioned to the owner that his workers left a beer bottle behind he told us we were lying and cussed at us. We could care less that there was a beer bottle left behind, just wanted him to know as a business owner. We also let him know that the dryer vent was now disconnected (they had to move the washer and dryer to get to the water heater). He informed me that someone must have moved the washer and dryer after they left. The washer and dryer are a million pounds and neither me nor my tenants touched it after they left. We also didn't care that they made mistakes, just wanted it fixed. The owner was irate that we pointed these things out and used foul language when speaking to us. Last noteworthy items, they did not replace the bathroom door, they left it in my tenants bedroom. They left crud all over the floor in their work area. They also damaged the railing outside my house when they launched the old water heater over the railing instead of walking it down. You'd never believe it, but he didn't apologize for that either.

Jeff has helped us several times with furnace and plumbing problems. One time when our furnace was out, he was out of the state but we left a message. He arrived home at 4 or 5 in the morning--but at 7a.m. he called and immediately came over and got our heat going!

Wow. I heard Jake speak last week, and will never call another plumbing company again, both for our home & for our rentals! They are so innovative that you should not hesitate to call them for any and all plumbing & heating needs. Any friends that have used them also agree- They won't be calling their old plumbing company to come out, no matter what the need is.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! We had a heating issue and Brad came right over, evaluated the situation, and promptly fixed it. His level of service, knowledge, and time management is beyond the level that we have seen with any other company in the valley. Paragons prices are fair and very reasonable, and we never felt like he was milking the clock for an extra buck (as opposed to other companies we've used in the past). He was able to completly explain in layman's terms what went wrong, how to fix it, and how to spot any future issues we might have.

I HIGHLY recommend this company for any heating issues and will be referring our friends and family to this business as well. We will definitely be using Paragon in the future for all of our heating and plumbing needs. Two thumbs way up for outstanding service!

Awesome company! Very responsive. All of my questions were answered and any concerns addressed. They removed a window and replaced it with a sliding patio door. In the process they had to move an electrical outlet and a baseboard heating resister. Now I have someone to tackle all of my projects big or small. I can’t recommend them enough! A+++++
