Steve arrived on time to our house and is a super friendly guy. He was also very detailed working around our house as it is a new build. The next day, we already saw improvements with less bugs around and many dead bugs on the exterior! We look forward to seeing Steve on his next visit.

Tony was the tech who came to our home. He called to make sure we would be home and it was OK for him to come now. He was on time per the schedule. He sprayed the inside and outside of our home. He sprayed the perimeter too. Then he cleaned off all of the cob webs around the house. I was impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. Great Job Tony!

So I got termites less than 6 mos after I moved into home that was inspected and no evidence. So I tried to treat them myself. Well that only works on the surface. After coming back from mini vacation and seeing so much activity in my interior/exterior garage and exterior front door area. I had to make the calls to find a termite company, I came onto Yelp and pick 4 companies based off the reviews. I chose Urban cause their reviews were awesome. Their prices were extremely fair. When Tino arrived to do my inspection. He was just one of the coolest people. He made me feel comfortable going forward with the service. He explained everything to me, he was trying to overwhelm with blah blah I didn't understand. He was just awesome. I called the office and spoke with a very nice woman (don't remember her name) but she got me set up and re explained things to me. I was assigned Shawn, who came out yesterday. He was super chill and I was cool. I was hoping I would get someone just as awesome as Tino. I've gotten the bait and switch in the past. Not this time. Shawn detailed, he was informative about every step he was doing. He explained to me what I should expected next, etc. Once he was done. I contact the offices and spoke with Jasmine. She was terrific. Believe I hate spending money of stuff like this. I wanted to buy a 55' for black Friday. Thanks to Urban I probably will still be able too. They truly earn their reputation. I hope I don't need them for any other pest issues but if I get any I will only call these guys. They treat you like family. They give you great service. They make you feel at ease. They take you to the cleaners. They make you take the time to write a great review cause their are so great at what they do. Thanks URBAN

Chad and his team have been invaluable in our Rat Saga. Other services misidentified the source of the infestation and were, frankly, stupid charlatans. In addition to providing timely service, following up on the issue, and communicating clearly, Chad also went out of his way to give us a low-cost alternative to fixing the remaining issue rather than charging us for further work that would not have served our needs. He offered his expertise, free of charge, and his thoughtfulness. Can’t recommend them enough.

My husband did his due diligence when it came to researching pest control companies for termite prevention. We ended up using Urban Desert and couldn’t be more pleased! Brad, the owner came out and did the inspection himself and spent quite a bit of time explaining the process and chemical used in the application. He’s been been doing this a long time and it showed. Matt, Jared and Erik came out a week later for the application. They were friendly, professional and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this company! When I noticed termite tubes coming up the foundation into my house, I started to look for a termite service. I called another company first and they wanted to charge me half of the cost of the service even before coming to see the house. Once I called Urban Desert they sounded knowledgeable and they had a no-cost estimate visit. Steve came to do the estimate and was very professional. We scheduled to have the treatment and Matt came out and walked me through what he was to do that day. After he was done, he went over everything again. He was courteous and professional. They have a great warranty and everyone we spoke with was great. The pricing, I felt, was also reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Our service technician, Tony, did an amazing job! He took his time to thoroughly spray the inside of the house, garage & yard. He took care of the entire patio and all around our outside living area. He even swept and removed cobwebs from all corners of our covered patio and eaves around the house. Based on reviews I read when I moved to Arizona 2 years ago, I hired Urban Desert for regular pest control at my home. I have been extremely pleased with the service. Every person I have dealt with at the company, including the office staff and every technician who has performed the spraying has been extremely professional, friendly and dependable. Before each spraying, I am sent a text by the office staff confirming the date and approximate time of the upcoming spraying. Then, on the day of the spraying, I am texted by the technician when he is on his way to the house and they always arrive as expected. Without exception, every technician who has performed the spraying has been professional, friendly, dependable and conscientious in his work. I highly recommend Urban Desert.

tl;dr: HIGHLY recommended!A few years ago we used Urban Desert to solve our roach infestation - they did a great job, and the price was excellent. Haven't had any issue with roaches since then!So when we noticed termite activity in our house, we knew who to call! I used Urban Desert a year ago for a termite treatment and noticed another mud tube in my ceiling. I called to schedule an additional treatment which is covered in their warranty. Scheduling was very easy and Matt was able to treat my front room first thing the next day. He was very professional and was in and out of my house within 5-10mins. Jake came to do the job here in my house and I just wanted to say that my wife and I really liked his work. At some point Hannah also came to help and we had a great experience with both of them. My son said they looked like super heroes, because they helped us with the problem, since he couldn’t sleep at night due to the noise that the rats were making in the attic. Outstanding!!! Tony is our technician and he is amazing, friendly and very attentive to our home's needs!! We live right off of a wash with tons of critters hanging out just on the other side of our fence. Yet, we have sooo few issues with Urban Desert! I've only seen 2 scorpions in our 5+ years here and both were already dead. When we moved in, there was a grill that had become inhabited by pack rats and we had to have it completely destroyed and removed. We were concerned what the future would hold for us on this desert wash but have no fear with Urban Desert! No more pack rats or mice!! And if you have pets, our pups are healthy and fine. Urban Desert uses a product that dries quickly and it's easy to keep the pups away in that short time. We also love the owner, Brad, who has come out. We've seen his business grow from when we first moved in and it's for good reason...they offer great services, affordably, safely and reliably!! Highly recommend this company and their staff!!

Urban Desert Pest Control is helping troubleshoot our rodent situation. We found them via positive feedback provided by a neighbor on Nextdoor. Hanna, one of their technicians, came out for the initial inspection. It's so rare to meet anyone like Hanna in any context - let alone in the context of an employee of a company you're considering hiring to fix a problem in your home - who presents as emotionally intelligent, compassionate, friendly, genuine, relatable, unguarded, knowledgeable, and serious about her work. So we hired Urban Desert on the spot to come back within the week to perform a smoke test as well as other work (e.g., fill in gaps in our brick, add a door sweep, etc.). As luck would have it, Jake ?, an equally impressive technician, accompanied her. Again, super friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, informative, etc. We're now big fans of Jake, too. I've had so many bad experiences with companies I've contracted to perform work, I feel like I've become a bit cynical, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. But, we've had such a great experience with Urban Desert (I haven't yet mentioned that they've shown up on time each time, accommodated us when we had a last-minute schedule issue that set us back for our appointment by about 15 minutes), we're already planning on hiring them again to help us with our insulation once we have the rodent situation buttoned up. Hopefully our new friends Hanna and Jake will come back for that one!

We have had Jim come out a few times now and he is amazing. The first time he came out was about a month after I had given birth to my child. He was beyond courteous when he came into our home. He made sure to speak softly and spray in a order that worked best for me since I was holding a sleeping baby. He informed us of all the activity he had seen and where he used what chemicals and the specific time frames before allowing our dogs back out and what not. He also found and treated for a huge bee issue we didn’t even know we had. When we had an ant issue in our bathroom we called and a different tech came out and the issue was never resolved with the treatment he did but when Jim came out for our next treatment the ants were gone in days. Customer service is wonderful and they get someone out to us quickly if we have ants between normal treatments.

I've used Urban Desert Pest Control for both general pest control (they really helped with spiders and the wasps we'd get in the summer) and now, termite treatment. I like the general pest control because they don't require a contract and their pricing is reasonable. They've also always been on time and never canceled last minute or had any other service issues.When we saw the dreaded termite tubes, I asked other friends for recommendations, but also called the company we've already used for general pest control--Urban Desert Pest Control. We ultimately decided to use Urban Desert Pest Control for our termite treatment because the pricing seemed very comparable to everyone else--especially when you consider there is an automatic (and transferrable) 5 year warranty for no additional cost -- some places only had a 2 year warranty up front. They came out to treat in a reasonable time. Matt treated our house and was very professional and arrived on time. He reminded us of our warranty and to call if we see any activity in the next 5 years. Additionally, the company offers additional years of warranty for a very reasonable price.I would definitely recommend all the staff at Urban Desert Pest Control, but especially appreciated the service today by Matt to treat our home for termites. They do great work and have always been on time and professional in my experience with them.

When I decided to change my pest control company, I did a lot of research and chose Urban Pest Control. To start, I gave them our most difficult pest management problem - roof rats in the crawl space above the ceiling. After 10 years of on-again off-again problems, they identified the entry points missed by my previous supplier and we have had no problems since that time. I then gave them my general pest control business followed by my termite control contract. The termite barrier had been created more than 17 years ago and needed to be redone. Their price was very reasonable and they did an excellent job. Andrew and Tyler even removed and released a 3.5 ft. snake from some timbers we had in the back yard. Everyone involved with this company has been pleasant, helpful and efficient. I strongly recommend this company for all your pest control needs.

The company quickly responded to my online request for information. The initial inspection was scheduled very timely. Andrew L. did the inspection. He was knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns. He also took the time to explain how termites do what they do and how the chemical works to eliminate them, which was quite informative. RATS!!!!!!!!I cannot say how much Chad P. from Urban Desert Pest saved my day, week, hopefully my month and year!. We have had a rat issue for several years. I have hired about every pest exterminator in the valley that has any rodent knowledge and have spent thousands of dollars doing so. They come in ...charge a lot ...and then seal the house and trap. They never find the source and they give up immediately after being paid. Urban Desert came out and let me know fairly quickly that the rodents were more than likely coming in from our pipes and that outside sealing (though it is great) is not our issue. They did a very thorough smoke test that ran smoke through the pipes (at a reasonable rate) and found the opening to an abandoned pipe from a past remodel in our roof area. Chad fixed this pipe, and is now trapping any rats left in the house. All of the Urban Desert employees are unbelievably respectful, smart and caring. They have truly gone OUT OF THEIR WAY to make me happy and I am so pleased. I am hiring them for all of my exterminating. Super smart, Great Owners and Chad P. is the man! I highly recommend this company and BTW...they were very affordable. LOVE Urban Desert Pest. We’ve used Urban Desert Pest Control ever since we bought our house, and when Brad was a one man crew. We found him through a google search so it’s only fitting that we leave a review on here.When we first bought our house and I was out of town, my wife found a scorpion on an exterior wall of the patio one night. Now thankfully it wasn’t inside, but none the less my wife was still in a little bit of a panic. The very next day she went online and found Urban Desert PC. The next day, I met Brad while he came to treat our house. We shared background and stories while he did his work, he also explained what he was doing, why it works and also what other methods don’t work and why. We’ve been loyal customers from that point on over 3 years ago.Since then, Brad has grown his company and carefully selected a really awesome team. The office staff is always friendly on the phone and quick to answer. And the addition of technicians has been stellar, we’ve had several different techs come out to the house and each one is as friendly and knowledgeable as Brad on that first day.Today we just had our house treated for termites, we didn’t have any at the house but we knew that the original treatment from when the house was build (2012) was reaching the end of its effectiveness. He was kind and friendly and took all the time I needed to answer my questions. He explained how the chemicals work and showed me ways to seal the house so that bugs can't come in. Was recommended Urban Desert Pest through word of mouth and I am SO glad I went with these guys. Honestly some of the most friendly service workers I have ever engaged with. Every time I call If I have any issues or questions they are on it. The ladies that answer on the phones are consistently friendly as well. They've also been patient and accommodating to my schedule when I've needed to move days or times. I've had Bob the bug killer out a couple times now and he's fantastic! The best exterminators in the valley! I live on the mountain and have the worst experience with scorpions, centipedes, and the strangest looking spiders I've ever seen in my life. Excellent in every way. The first treatment helped a little but we still had pests so Steve came back to do a second treatment and results have been great! It’s kind of gross but we’ve been seeing a few dead cockroaches every day for a week now. And the mosquito problem has also improved but more importantly, Steve was able to figure out that our main problem was likely coming from the neighbor’s green pool. Hopefully they’ll get that treated and the mosquito problem will be resolved but in the meantime, we’re grateful for the reduction. Overall, great service and I would highly recommend!!

Amazing experience with this company, definitely recommend! From the beginning, Brad responded to my online inquiry in a timely fashion and set up a termite inspection right away. I had Rats Roof and I could hear them, I did contact Urban, they came a few times put some traps, but no sign of rats, the next year the same story, Chad the owner came over and did send one of his guy and who inspected the attic he sealed some of the holes and thanks God its quite so far no more RATS!!! This was my first time using Urban Desert Pest Control. Jose was very knowledgeable and professional. He went over every part of our property to insure all areas were treated properly. My 5 year old twins found a spider while he was here, and he took the time to educate them on the details of this particular spider, and why they are good to have around to control scorpions. So I reviewed these guys previously on Yelp. Since then I have had them come out and do my new house before I moved in. Brad definitely takes his time to make sure any concern areas are taken care of. He takes notice about what is happening and finds any trouble spots so they can be handled right there. The one corner of my house had a ton of crickets and other bugs just hanging out so Brad called me over and showed me, then made sure he sprayed there a little heavier. I will include my initial Yelp review as reference.** Initial Review **So I called Urban Desert Pest Control because we had been seeing too many scorpions in the house. I have 2 kids under 5 years old and needed to protect them. I called the number and left a voice mail. Brad called me back within an hour and we discussed my problem and how he could take care of it. His wife setup the appointment and Brad showed on time. He was very thorough with his treatment and told me once it dried, there would be no issues. The deciding factor was he told me he used the same treatment at his house and he has more kids than I do. If he felt safe using it around his family, I felt safe using it around mine.After he left, it took about 2 hours to dry completely and since that day I haven't seen one scorpion inside or out. And I have only seen a few dead bugs so I'm going to say he came through with his promise. And if I do see anything living, he will come back out for 60 days and retreat.The best part is there is no contract so you can call him out every 60 days, every 6 months or every 2 years depending on your needs. I will use him again.

We had everything! Earwigs, cockroaches, mosquitoes, ants and scorpions. Jeff was our tech, he showed up on time, he was professional and explained what he was going to do. It’s been 2 days now and I feel very comfortable that we are bug free. The morning after the treatment, I had never seen so many dead cockroaches out in the driveway. I was happy to sweep them away. These guys are great. To say that they are professional is an understatement. Super easy and accommodating to set Up an appointment. We had them do our house and my father's house the same day. Before they came to my house I had already heard a good report from my father about them. Dax was great with my dad and made him feel comfortable. Had a serious scorpion problem with our new home in Paradise valley. Not only was Brad thorough, but he went above and beyond to help us. Our first exterminator just sprayed and left, barely said two words. After researching for an company that had good reviews I came across urban desert. I was truly so impressed by them that I wanted to write one myself. Brad and his wife went out of their way to come and spray tonight, even as a last minute call request. They showed us the scorpions and how they were getting in the house to begin with. It’s too late to call the handy man to come fix the seal on my bedroom window tonight. So the fact that he took the extra time and energy to temporarily tape the gap just so I can sleep without worrying tonight is the reason why I give him 5 stars. I had tried solving my rodent problem on my own for months. Finally I gave in and called out a professional. That professional was still unable to solve my problem and overcharged me to boot. I was at my wits end when I called Urban Desert Pest Control and was taken care of right from the beginning.First I got an appointment scheduled, along with a nice reminder a day before the appointment. Next an inspection was done followed by a list of options and no pressure to choose any of them. Last they did and charged exactly as described. Getting the initial quote over the phone was fast an easy, as was scheduling the service. The staff was very polite and professional. We live in newly developed area of Peoria and when we moved in by the end of summer, I could tell that the house has never been periodically treated as we were finding 3-4 bark scorpions inside the house almost every day (coming out of printers, walking on the walls just above the bed, etc..) After contacting Urban Desert, they took the matter in their hands and boy, I don't remember how the bark scorpions look like anymore! They also remind when the next treatment is due and it helps a lot to someone who's not very good at future planning. The owner Brad came to my door after spraying my next door neighbor's yard. I was reluctant because I had been with Sunrise Pest Control for 14 years. I agreed to try his service. All I can say is that for the last 14 years I realized through Urban Pest that I had been overcharged, under serviced and taken advantage of from Sunrise that whole time. Brad is the owner. I have an elderly neighbor that had a gnat infestation, both inside and outside her home. When I went to her home, I could not believe what I saw, there were thousands and thousands of gnats all over her front porch and inside her home. Just had Brad and Al out to our new home in Goodyear for a new home treatment. We are from Chicago and new to the creepy crawlers out here, so we were unsure what preventative measures we should take.First, couldn't believe the owner of Urban Pest is Brad and that he is the one who came out! Twenty five years in business and he still leads from the front!He took the time to tell my husband and I exactly what he and Al would be doing, then he pulled out his phone, showed us pictures and educated us on what to look for and what pests hide where.He was so personable, answered all our questions, never giving us the impression that he needed to be elsewhere. Excellent pest control company! Amazing customer service and extremely knowledgeable! My wife and I have been experiencing the Central PHX roof rat problem the last 6 months. We had been using another pest control company to seal up all possible entry points into our house, but continued to have issues with rats (catching about 26 rats). We couldn't take another day of living with these in our attic, so our current pest control company enlisted the help of Urban Desert to help identify where these rats were gaining access to and from the house.Urban Desert utilized a smoke machine test in the vent pipes to determine if there was a possible leak/hole somewhere in the hope. Within minutes Brad and Chad, were able to identify where the issue was coming from, a vent pipe that hadn't been capped by the contractor/plumber during the remodeling of our house prior to purchase. Required minimal dry wall cutting, but it was worth it to help find out where rats were coming in( they had free reign coming in and out of the house through the wide open hole in pipe). Without this smoke test that Urban Desert provides, we still would be battling the roof rat issues.Chad and Brad went above and beyond their responsibilities, helping us cap the pipe correctly, cleaning up the rat feces/nest and cleaning up the mess from the dry wall. HIGHLY recommend this company for your roof rat problems. Thanks Brad & Chad!

Very impressed with this company. This was my first experience with them and they were amazing. They responded quickly to me initial email and we corresponded several times in the same day. I had set an initial appointment but was really hoping for a quicker visit as I was having issues with scorpions and didn't want the grandkids to have a close encounter. Danny came out and sprayed the yard and outside the house. He arrived early in the time frame I was given, asked what kind of bugs I was hoping to have exterminated, and explained the product he was spraying and what we could expect. What a phenomenal company. I am so blessed to have found this pest control company. Brad, the owner, took time explaining what they would need to do after viewing the damage these little pests have created. Today there are two guys moving boxes in my garage to begin treatment. Their method is not harmful to your pets which was also a concern for me. If you have a moment, I would look at the video of their process; I think it is available on their website. We all are susceptible to termites at some time regardless. So if you want to use a family owned company who stands by their word and works their very best to help you; I strongly recommend Urban Desert and their crew. ❤️

The quote that I received for the work they said they would do seemed fair. The guy that came out to do the termite spray walked me through everything he was going to do and then he seemed to really take his time to make sure it got done correctly. All the holes that were drilled for the spray have been filled properly and no signs of termites 30 days after treatment.

I’d highly recommend this place. We have them spray about every 6 weeks just because that’s our preference instead of every 8 weeks. The whole time I’ve lived here since about December of 2019 I’ve only seen 2 spiders and a few random bugs since they have been spraying. The technician who has come to our house consistently is very friendly!

I recently was visited by an unwanted roof guest and attempted to dispatch of it myself. At first it seemed easy but over time it began to worry me that I may not get everything despite how much looking up I do on the critters. It was then i decided to begin a search for a pest slayer. I looked at many companies on Google and on Yelp, but late in the evening I finally stumbled across Urban Desert Pest Control. This company stood out the most in my search as it was mainly due to a few of the customer reviews! The reviews that were posted described a company that weren't entirely bound by your normal business hours time of need, and would go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Good sell so far, so why not, I thought to myself. So with that mindset I took a chance and shot a request over to get an estimate and waited to hear back as I went to sleep. I heard from Brad early morning the next day and scheduled the appointment the following day.When Brad showed up he greeted me in a professional and friendly manner. His attitude came off as confident, yet down to earth. I showed him the crime scene where i first discovered my guest and he began to inform me on various nuggets of info about what I am dealing with, how it could have gotten in and how it can be addressed. We went outside and got on the roof so he could showed me exactly where several points of entries were, mainly the exhaust holes. He then began to tell me the best means to address them and could tell i was a DIY guy and laid it out to me step by step. He offered to do the job for me but trusted that I could conquer the task given my ability to already take apart a fart fan and find the guest. No pressure was felt during the entire experience.I felt like i was dealing with the Hank Hill of pest control. If you know the reference then you can understand what praise that could be. Brad came to analyze the scene and relayed this information to me so that I could make an informed decision. The reviews showed me that he goes the extra mile whenever needed for his customers and only focuses on the customer. It is sometimes hard to find a great company like this now a days. He truly is good people. I hope my review has helped you decide to go with Urban Desert Pest Control.

We recently moved into a new home and were in need of pest control services. We received a flyer on our door from Urban Desert. We called many other companies, but decided to try Urban Desert Boy, am I glad I did. Jose texted on the day of appt to let me know that his client directly before us had cancelled and to see if he could come earlier. He showed up right on schedule, took his time treating the inside and outside of our home and even pointed out a few items that needed to be taken care of along the foundation of our home with our builder. We are currently renting an Airbnb in Scottsdale and started noticing scorpions in the backyard in the grass around the pool. We called a few pest control companies we found on Google, and either we got no response or we were told that it would be weeks before anyone could come help us. I am very pleased with this company. They responded right away, got us in within a week at a time that worked with my work schedule. They arrived on time (actually was available earlier than my apt). I was a few mins late getting home and he was still very friendly and patient. He was very friendly and did a good job spraying. He took his shoes off before entering as to not make a mess after our heavy rains. I told him we are having an ant issue in an area where our toddler plays. He put down granules on the aunt hills for no extra charge. Can't beat the price-only $70 for a spray inside (including the garage) and out.

Best exterminators ever - you will not be disappointed! After being dissatisfied with 2 well-known exterminators, I found Urban Desert on Yelp, and with their 5-star-only reviews I decided to try them and am completely impressed. First off, they listen to your concerns and are very affordable. Second, they take off their shoes in my house, without me having to ask! No contract services but I wouldn't even mind a contract because I want Urban Desert, and only Urban Desert, to come every other month to keep back the scorpions (I live next to a mountain). Brad offers an AMAZING service. He and his wife were extremely kind and prompt in responding to my inquiry. Brad showed up at the time we agreed upon. He asked how long we had lived in the house and what type of pests we have seen. His vast knowledge of each pest was apparent as he described the nature of the pests, their habits, and the best way to get rid of them. The price was very affordable and comparable to other services. However, the thoroughness of the service was far beyond any other company we have worked with in the past. As an added bonus, Brad was extremely polite, personable, and felt like a friend by the time he left. We will definitely stick with Urban Desert Pest Control forever!

I highly recommend Urban Desert Pest Control!! Brad (owner) stopped by our house to let us know what services he offered...very informative but I didn't feel pressured in any way! A week or so later I received a hand written note from Brad to thank me for speaking to him. I was impressed but didn't think I needed his services at the time so I put his business card on my cork board for the future. Then a few weeks later we saw our first scorpion and I called Brad. When he came out he was very professional, explained everything he was doing, and gave me tips to keep all bugs at bay! He was extremely thorough and I feel he went above and beyond any other pest company I have ever worked with. He doesn't require a contract because he wants to earn your business and if you give him a chance he definitely will! I was able to confirm that his products truly work (unlike the claims on a bottleyou buy at the hardware store) because within 8 hours of him coming there were 3 dead scorpions on my patio!

Review by Duon C. Blue: Julian was excellent ! His analytical skills / assessment of the issue and resolution were professional & on point. What I initially thought was a problem originating from outside my home was actually coming from an abandoned house next door! Julian literally had to build a fortress around my house with power on the fence, granules on the ground, in addition to the spray. He then advised me that the weeds nest door must come down due to the fact that his services would last about a month, then the bugs would return. I give this family owned small business five stars for their Termite treatment services. We live in Dreaming Summit, in Litchfield Park. We have a green-back that surrounds two sides of our property. Our home is the first aboveground, manmade snack for a few colonies. Brad measured out the total linear feet of our home, and encouraged us to compare with any other company for both the guaranteed, transferable warranty, and affordability. We had an emergency come up, and he even worked with us on a payment arrangement!I will say this, if you’re not happy with any facet of the service his team provided...he will come back and make it right until you can’t be anything but “satisfied”. We are quite difficult to please, and Urban Desert earned our respect and trust. They also mix the Termidor HE in their vehicle, curbside, which demonstrates transparency in the mixing strength of the finish product. We were told it could take up to 90 days for the mud tunnels to stop coming back...they never came back after the first day! Gone...like a bad dream.If you choose to use them, you can bet on not having a reoccurrence for five years. For a modest fee they will even extend it out up to 10 years! All that while being one of the most competitive prices quoted. They say you get what you pay for, and in our case...we believe we got a great deal, and the best results and warranty available. So. Thorough. You have any idea how at ease one instantly feels when your pest control tech shows up with a truck-mounted, pressurized, fully automatic sprayer instead of a glorified camelback?! I do! And let me tell you- it's one of the most reassuring feelings in the world! Jack was just here (on a Saturday morning... I mean, that speaks volumes!) to treat my home- inside and out... I haven't seen a bug, spider, scorpion, or any other creepy crawly since he was here 2 months ago- and I'm confident I won't in the future so long as Urban Desert is in charge of my pest control. Just one tiny thing...I know the ants weren't out yet, but UB wasn't listening when I said I wanted sprayed to AVOID them coming in house when they woke up. Jeremy was under impression that they were marching in already. And I tried explaining this couple times but he just said to call when they start moving so they can trace their tracks. Extremely unprofessional!! Very unorganized office and staff. I used their service twice. Both times paying with the man who came to spray my house. Both times the office called me after and said I never payed. They asked me to even send a picture of my bank account! The first time, I gave in and sent it thinking it was a fluke. However on their next service, the EXACT SAME THING. I’ve talked to their office staff multiple times and never know what’s going on.How unprofessional and disappointing. In early June we moved from thinking to knowing we had a mouse in the house. My wife is not squeamish or skittish about things but she was NOT happy about the mouse. I tried for several weeks using big box home store stuff to get rid of the intruder. We had ALL kinds of traps set out. Nothing worked. One time a trap was set off but nothing in it (we knew it wasn't a false alarm as we heard something scurrying off). Last week I called Urban Desert to have the problem resolved lest my marriage of 33 years fall into trouble for my lack of ability to hunt the big game :)I explained to Lexie (she was very patient while I explained the adventure). She got Jose scheduled the next day and we were on our way. Jose showed up 10 minutes early and even gave me a heads up he was 10-15 minutes out (nice customer service touch). When he arrived we explained the two problems (we also had a lot of crickets). As a younger guy he hasn't been doing this his whole life BUT he knew what he was doing. Great at customer service and listening but that doesn't mean much if he can't catch the dang mouse. He also told us due to the particular issue this could be a very difficult case to resolve.He also told us by our description it wasn't a mouse but rather a rat. So now my wife is REALLY freaked out and I am getting the total evil eye from her :)Traps were set are Thursday. He indicated he'd return on Saturday to set a few more. We were prepared for dealing with this for another month or so until we could snag the critter. As fate would have it I had to leave on a personal trip out of town the day after the first traps were set. On Sunday morning my wife sent me a photo a one of traps that had been triggered. I won't upload the photo here for all you sensitive types. We're leaving the traps up for a few more weeks just in case but we are pretty sure the problem is solved.So within 72 hours our cricket problem is gone (there were A LOT of the) and more importantly our RAT problem is gone.Thanks Lexie and Jose (and owners) for helping us out and saving my marriage ;)

Ok, Brad is awesome! I contacted him regarding a problem with some flys what he eventually told me was fruit flies. He first recommended pouring bleach down the drain before he came out! I thought that was cool considering most companies would just come over right away. While it did help, my problem required him to come by. He explained why the fruit flys were not going away and quickly fixed the problem...less than an hour! In addition, his pricing is very reasonable for his work! You can't beat that! If you have a pest problem, do yourself a favor and call Brad!

Hired to attempt to eradicate a few tiny wasp hang outs in a 6 foot bush. There was minimal attempt to locate a hive, but the company applied some chemical up to 24 inches off the ground - the hive was not in this area but they stated laws prevented them from treating my specific area. OK maybe keep reading.After 30 days I noticed they were still in that bush and now another. I called them back and scheduled another non-warranty service.This time they didn't even care to look at the primary bush, that had now been cut down to 2 feet tall. They dismissed it with one glance and moved on.They didn't treat that bush but did attempt to treat the new bush. However this time they switched chemicals. This was due to the fact that I had called to get the Material Safety Data Sheet on the product used the first time. That must have scared them. However I wanted that same chemical used obviously since I stated it as the reason I wanted the MSDS.During the second visit they were training a very young unskilled kid and he proceeded to use the chemical to spray any wasp that came near him, getting chemical all over the pool and walkway, this was not a huge deal, but it was obvious I was just charged twice the amount of the first visit, but neither bush was properly treated or treated at all.I complained to the BBB, this prompted a call from the owner while out of country. I told him I'll work with him when he gets back. But during that time I realized I just need to get this problem dealt with and the only way is to remove all of the applicable bushes.The company proceeded to accuse me of extortion in their response to the BBB. I can assure them I am well-off financially and that is just absurd and shows the length they will go to to deny any accusation made against them.They simply did not provide any reasonable attempt at pest control as hired and then had the audacity to attack me in the BBB records.

Shout out to my boy, Dax!He came through early, asked what kind of pest we had around our house, reassured that he's going to take care of it, and went to work. Was honestly surprised how well educated he was and the customer service was superb.It's 12 hours later and found a trail of dead bugs outside the edge of our house. As much as I hate that we needed a pest control guy, I'm thankful for Urban Desert Pest Control! Our cats carried in a rat, and we needed it gone ASAP. Brad made arrangements with us via text while he was out to dinner with his wife (thank you, Mrs. Olsen!) and was here first thing in the morning. On a Sunday! He searched for the rat until he found it (already deceased thanks to our 90 lb. dog) and disposed of it for us. Not only did he take care of the current issue, he also gave us some tips to avoid issues in the future. We'd been putting off getting a monthly service, because everyone charges an arm and a leg, and we don't have any major problems. But his price for bi-monthly service is more than reasonable, so we're done procrastinating. Thank you so much!

I had Urban Pest Control (Dax) come out two days ago for the first time. Ants, scorpions, crickets, you name it. Been battling these pests for years and was hesitant to call any pest control because I figured they'd want a big initial fee, a contract, etc. These guys charged me a flat $75, and Dax came and sprayed inside and outside, laid some traps, some bait, etc. I'm shocked that two days later I haven't seen a single ant or scorpion, and only one cricket - a dead one! Also found a baby scorpion in one of the traps in the garage already. I'm convinced Dax is a witch - no way those pests would all just decide to go away otherwise. Also could not have been any more friendly. Would give 6 stars if I could. See you in two months, Dax!
