Tried to call and set up an appointment while there was still a warranty on our home because there is a tunnel where it is obvious it has been treated at least 3 times before. I tried to call for over 6 weeks and left countless messages with no return call. I called a couple weeks ago and finally got someone on the phone who made an appointment. I stayed home so I could be here during the service time just for someone to not show up. I called and they said they would leave a message for my local office and someone would call me to fix the situation. Needless to say I am now out of my warranty because of the excessive length of time and I still can’t get a call back. I don’t see how anyone does business with them and I am even more concerned that whatever they use doesn’t work, how has this one small area needed to be treated so many times? This company seems to be way more trouble than they’re worth.

Called 4 days ago and set appt for today. I called earlier in the day to say they could come earlier if they like, as it’s the holiday weekend and a Friday and thought workers might want to get home earlier to their families. I was told they would still show up at 4 or earlier.
It’s now 5:07 and I call to see where the tech is and the man on the phone spent more time asking how to pronounce my name after correcting him more than once, then said I didn’t even have an appt today…but then said he did see my appointment I made on the 19th but no one was coming….after I changed plans today and even spoke with someone 3 hours ago who confirmed there was someone coming.
I really regret using this company, even in a no show. I should have used a small business from the start. ??♀️?♀️

Terminix installed bait stations around my house during the winter. Now that summer has arrived, I discovered that the bait stations punctured my irrigation systems water line cause flooding around my house. I’ve been trying to call them and no one returns my calls. They advised I would be contacted in 24 hours and it’s almost been a week. I had to call another company to address the problem because they won’t respond.

I have tried calling 2 times to speak with someone, the same day and the recording say they are busy and they will call back .
Techs were super friendly and knowledgeable. Had the previous company we had a contract with out multiple times to no avail. Tech Christopher Peterson right off the bat gave me more info and reassurance the problem would be taken care of. Glad we spent the extra money and got the multi year plan. Piece of mind is great. Will definitely be Terminix customers for a long time. Thank you!

The service in terms of administration is awful. They do not staff the phones thus long waits and transfers. I think they switched to new systems and lot's of issues. No call back, when using the call back feature. I received an email confirmation of appointment. They never showed. I called and WAITED. They rescheduled without asking or telling me. They didn't get the recurrent billing started until I called about it. Then I had to pay like 3 months at once. The people I have talked to are nice, but who ever is making the decisions are not good. I would not recommend them based on my experience, at least at this time.
Didn’t show up to scheduled appointment. Sat on the phone for over 3 hours trying to resolve the issue….combination of people hanging up on me, not answering, not being able to help me, transferring me to dead-ends. Incredibly frustrating. Don’t waste your time.

Terminix has no customer resolution departments - don't waste your money with a big company name - been asking to complete service for 2 months which we have already paid one year in advance and they hv closed my account in error.. now the service Manager Ken Thompson will not call or resolve my service issue even after several escalations have been made. how do these big box companies survive with such poor customer service :( . we have 2 homes and have paid nearly $4000 for multiple years of service and I regret every bit.

Do NOT use this company! For the past three months I have received a bill for service I never requested nor wanted, and for which no Terminix service has been performed. The most recent statement now says, in big bold letters, that my account is now 60 days past due! When I try to call to cancel the account they claim I have, they don't answer the phone and don't call back as promised. This is a scam!

Great customer service. I wrote a lengthy review regarding my experience but did not save it. To sum it all up, I have signed up for their bi monthly program. Peace of mind never felt so good. Thank you for taking care of me and ensuring that you sent your best technician out, well at least that how it felt.
Our service has been great! The technician is always here when he says he will be and he sends a text when he is on his way. There is also a text the day before asking if we have any issues inside or out. After he completes the service he either comes to our door or texts me exactly what he has done and any problem areas. He has always been respectful of us and our property. Terminix also services our termites and we haven’t seen a recurrence since it started.

The reason is the pricing and the gentleman that booked my appointment was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The $50 coupon was excellent and sealed the deal for me.
The technician was on time, courteous, and attentive. As for the service itself, it is too soon to tell if I got what I paid for...but time will tell...and thankfully there is a gurantee. Thank You!
I have been happy with the service and my technician. I have had more than a couple problems in the billing department that I have had to take time out to correct.
Trying to get something scheduled is impossible. When I finally did get an appointment for last Friday, I called an hour outside of my two hour window to see when they would be arriving. The customer service rep told me my appointment had been cancelled. I did not receive a call, text or email that it was cancelled. The rep said there were no notes on why it was cancelled. I asked if they rescheduled it and she said yes and then told me three more days out and my new time frame. I was informed that a manager would be reaching out from the Tempe location. Still waiting on that call too. This is the second time for a scheduled service a technician has not shown up in the last two weeks. I have high doubts that I will actually get someone here on Monday, but fingers crossed. I do not recommend this business as clearly clients time is not respected. Customer service is not a priority. We all understand the labor shortage, but management has no excuses on no call for a followup. I will go local to support a small business.
Always have excellent service. This year a very nice guy named Ken performed the annual termite inspection service.
I have been given excuse after excuse as to why your company could not keep to an appointment. There is no coordination between client and technician, client and Terminix and between technician and Terminix. The most frustrating experience I’ve had. My October service was not completed until mid Dec. I was promised extraordinary service by a leader in the industry (you) when I was sold (conned) into hiring you and buying an extended warranty. I have no faith in you as a reputable company any longer

I received a letter in the mail with this locations address listed to call for a free termite inspection and a monthly cost for treatment. I did that, and had something scheduled for today. I was told I would get a confirmation of the appointment, which I didn't. I called back to confirm it and was told it was in fact scheduled for today, and someone would be here between 8 am to 12 pm. 12:30 rolls around and still no Terminix, I called back and was reassured someone would be here but they didn't know when. I advised I needed a time that I could not wait around all day. I was then placed on hold, and when the rep came back on the line I was told she was unable to reach the tech or the manager. She didn't know where they were. I asked if this is the type of service provided to customers because if it was I didn't want it. I then advised that I would not have been as frustrated if I had been contacted letting me know they were running late, but that didn't happen. My address and phone number were both confirmed on the call too. I stated if the tech wasn't at my location in another hour I would take my business elsewhere. Guess what?! I just took my business elsewhere!!
Worst service I have ever received as a new home buyer. Inspector called the wrong number, never showed up for the follow-up inspection (because they missed termites the first time) and customer service was HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY.

Do not get these people, they say they come to your house to inspect and they don’t actually do anything. Also you can’t even talk to the managers it’s all call center stuff. They move your appt times without notifying you.
The initial visit was pushed off a week or so but the tech did not tell me that until I reached out to him to inquire why no text message / e-mail was received about the completion of service, what he found, what he did, etc. He did apologize though and came back the following week for our quarterly pest service. Luckily he noticed the ant activity because I forgot to inform him of that issue. All in all, we are happy with Terminix. My only dissatisfaction is derived by no longer being able to jump online and schedule a preferred service date.

We have been customers for many years, and the service has been good, but this past time, Terminix set up the appointment without informing us. No email, no text, no phone call until the night before. The tech called and left a message, and told us to call him back if this wouldn’t work for us. Neither my wife nor I were going to be home that next morning, so I called back, within a half hour of his phone call, and left a message that this would need to be rescheduled because that time would not work for us. Well we never got a return message other than the tech calling the next morning and leaving a message that he was almost there. He came but could only could spray the front yard. We were charged a full service price for a service we did not set up, and we requested The time to be changed. I have put in an email complaint, and two different phone calls with the promise that the manager would get back with me. That was three weeks ago. We have the termite service and pest control with Terminix. Again, their service has always been good, but I am very disappointed that a long standing customer appears to mean so little to this branch. As a result, I took off my automatic pay from them so if this happens again, I will not pay until this can be sorted out or will just go elsewhere. Sorry about the negative review, but people need to know.

We have been pleased with over 20 years of service. However, they need to call and ASK when a good time would be for our annual termite inspection. This year they just showed up with no prior communication!
They did not show and did not call. Then they sent a fake invoice claiming they came even though they did not.

Always thorough, professional, making sure they know exactly what issues I'm having and that they will take care of them before they leave. Explaining that if the problem is not completely resolved, call them and they will come back out and respray.
Tried 3 times to book with them to come look at my termite problem. All 3 times they did not show up. I will be going with Magic Pest control, very professional an friendly.

Whatever you do DO NOT BOOK WITH TERMINIX! I had termites last year in November and they serviced my home. Fast forward to now and they came back About a month ago. I had booked for them to comeback to service my home again since they guaranteed their work for a year. They squeezed me in for this past Thursday but then they called to cancel because their truck broke down! It has been impossible to get a hold of anyone to reschedule and we are in the process of trying to sell our home so we need the service done asap! Why can’t I get through to anyone!? Someone please call me back!!!

They were supposed to come on the 22nd of April and I waited. No show. When I called they said oops its for the 23rd and I waited again. No show. I call the rep and he said he would call me back and never did. On the 26th the manager called and left a message, I called back and he said he wasn't I. The office and would call me back and never did. They left us high and dry and we don't know what to do now. We did get a refund finally, but still have the bed bugs. ?

They charged me the down payment of $500 and after 30 days they charged me the $99 but still have not finishsh treatment because they're soo busy and don't have time. I have been trying to schedule an appointment but no luck. I told them to come many times but they are busy.
The story. I called them for service and the inspector showed up and I signed the contract and gave them the down payment ,he took pictures of the garage and told me someone else was coming to treat it but he never said that we have to move some stuff out of the garage, so when the other one showed up he said he couldn't treat the garage because there were things that needs to be removed, i wasn't there and my wife couldn't move them so he left, it has been over 30 day's and they have collected over 600 and still not finished the job .I called them 3 days ago ,yesterday and today requesting service on friday the 22nd that's 10 days in advance every day said that someone will contact me but they don't call me back. I will cancel next month payment to see if that call their attention . Don't use this company
The tech is always very friendly and professional and calls ahead of time several days out and the day before. He is very thorough and asks if I have any new problem areas. He was kind enough to open my patio umbrella and spray it for any hidden scorpions when I asked him.
The tech called the day before to verify my appointment and showed up on time the following day. He explained what he was going to do around the house and then after he sprayed the yard and the house. When he was finished he explained everything he found and what I could expect over the next few days. He was very polite and very thorough.
Tried multiple times to set an appointment and they failed to show up on the first appointment so I called multiple times before I could get through - only to find that their system had failed and lost the appointment. Then on the 2nd appointment they called with a similar excuse for not being able to show up AGAIN!. The one star is for calling me to let me know they were failing to keep the 2nd appointment. Don't waste your time. Big name must mean diseconomy of scale.

This company deserves zero stars. We have termites in our house and the technicians came 6 times to put their “treatment” and it never worked . Each time they came to inspect my house they guaranteed the termites wouldn’t come back . This has costed $900 dollars and it’s just a waste of money . Our service guy was really good. However I have been using Terminix for 3+ years. They guarantee a 3 month ($37/month) protection between each service or they will come back out and spray for free. I have thousands of ants in my kitchen and in my food, so I needed an additional service. I called them this morning and the automated system wants to give me an additional service 1 month from now. I got a hold of an operator and he wanted to give me service 8 days from now. I figured I would at least get a day or 2 wait time. So Terminix solution is pay us money and deal with your own problem and when its coinvent for us we will try to help you.. I told them I would rather find another company that could help me now and they should cancelled my service. The operator guy did not even attempt to keep my business. #Terminix (Our local service guy called me within 2 hours and apologized and helped resolve this issue.)

I had a great experience with Terminix. I manage apartments and I had a beehive and a spider problem. I called them and they came to do an estimate right away. They were her soon after and got rid of the bee hive and sprayed for spiders and de-webbed one of my buildings.

Terminix responded to our call the next day. We've been customers for several years and usually don't need an additional service call. But, the great thing is we can request as many service calls as we want at no extra charge. Furthermore, technicians are not commissioned. This adds an extra layer of trust.
I don’t have the name on hand but the associate who came to my house came while I was gone at work and my fiancé was home was apparently the best. After their encounter she called me and told me how professional, courteous, nice, and friendly that associate was. He was thorough, explained everything in a way she was able to understand and explain to me at a later time. He did not just explain what he had done for treatments but showed her everything. I really appreciate the above and beyond professionalism and service that surpasses the basic service required. I will be continuing my service with Terminix for many years to come based off the service my family and home had received.
We have a yearly maintenance plan and they schedule without having to be called and reminded. Tech shows up on time and explains what he did when service is complete

Charles our technician is very professional and always does great work.
The representative did show up for the scheduled appointment and I was able to decide on what services I desired from your company. The next day, after I signed a contract for preventative bait traps around my home as well as a 10 year maintenance plan to go with it, they came out and did the work.
I am now one very happy customer, relieved to know that I no longer have to worry about my home and termites. Terminix is now my “company” for all my termite needs.

If I could give less stars I would. I'm absolutely disgusted at Terminx's lack of professionalism and customer service. In fact it's down right embarrassing. I will be getting my money back and will never do business with them again. The way you treated me is an exact representation of the company and its leadership.

1 tech was terrible 1 tech was good. The whole experience was rocky and lots of issue . The worst of all was talking with manager Jody in Tempe. I emailed to hear from upper management and never did. Would not recommend if using Tempe office.

Technician was 2.5 hours late with 1 phone call 10 minutes before he got to my home. I could hardly hear his voice on the phone message. He found all 12 pots and changed out one. Since I have a 5 year contract, I hope this doesn't happen again.

They are the worst pest control company, first of all they are expensive in regards to the service, they charge me $63 a month and they only do 1 visit every 3 months so 4 visits a year only and I’m paying them $800 a month and they product they use is not good, we always see spiders, roaches , ants , after I canceled also they kept on charging me the monthly

Appointment was between 12-2 PM, service techician didn't arrive, would have been nice to receive a call about running late, wanted to be home for the service to spray the garage and discuss other issues with tech, I had already scheduled another appointment for my doctor at 3 PM figuring Terminix would have been to the house and gone with plenty of time to make my 3 PM appointment.........can't seem to count on the scheduling at Terminix!

The treatment was supposed to last for 3 months. Three separate occasions we had to call in to get extra treatment and instead of taking care of the problem, they pushed up or treatment date and charged us the full price for the next 3 months of treatment. A month and a half after or last treatment we saw so many bugs! We called to schedule an appointment and their next available day was a month away! We are home and available 4 days a week out of 7. I'm just relieved that our year contract is up!

I don't feel Jeremy Anderson was very honest with us. I feel he misrepresented what was going to be done by Terminix vs the quote we received from another company. And he still has never returned any of our calls. I think we need a new account representative. And a discount would really be a good idea if we don't receive a discount we'll be finding a different exterminator as soon as our contract is done!

I am beginning to think there is no actual Terminix Tempe location. I had an appointment that the tech no call no show'd. After 30 minutes of holding I got sent to a phone center to schedule a new appointment for the next day. Another no call no show and another 30 minutes on hold to get a different phone number to the office that sent me back to the same phone waiting area to be connected to the same phone center again. So far, a very unprofessional and unreliable experience dealing solely with call center workers and no pest control specialists.

Our experience with Terminix has been very good. Two years ago we called Terminix out of desperation. We had bed bugs and didn't know what to do. Terminix sent an inspector out who explained our options of treatment and took us through the whole process. We were very pleased with the results. Not long after that ordeal we discovered we had a nest of bees under a shed in our backyard. We called Terminix and it was taken care of immediately. Recently, we discovered the bees had returned to the same location. Walter Aguilar was sent out to inspect the situation. He was very thorough and took the time to explain why they came back and what could be done. The next day Dustin Dewitt came out and took care of our problem for us and suggested what we could do to keep the bees from accessing the same location again.We have been very pleased with the service we have received and look forward to working with Terminix as our pest control provider.
Scheduling was very easy. Inspector was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Was able to schedule service the same day.

I would rate lower but 1 star is as low as I can go. I have been a customer for 20yrs. now and this is absolutely pathetic that I cannot speak to an American in the USA when calling the office number that is stated for Tempe Az. I am on hold for WAY too long and when someone finally answers guess what I can't understand them!! Yeah Philippines is now answering the calls!! So I schedule an appointment to get my termite issue resolved and after two different appointments NOONE showed up. I am now on the third call and hope to get this resolved then I am done gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I let them know that I had a problem and they were on it in no time.
We have been long-standing (10+ years) customers of Terminix & feel confident Terminix has our backs when it comes to termite protection for our home. The yearly inspections give us peace of mind, especially when the inspector tells us he sees no signs of any activity indoors or out. The inspector this year was Kirk Hettesheimer & as always with Terminix employees, he was professional, courteous, & took the time to talk to us about his findings & answer any questions. Good job Terminix - keep it up!
Dave was on time and professional. I like the up to date app advising when and where my Tech is in route. Also the dispatcher who keeps you up to date and is very courteous.

Our Terminix Representative is very professional, making sure that we have complete and accurate service. He has in my opionion really gone above the typical service. Our first monthly service he was out on a vacation day, then within a week we discovered that we had bed bugs. Our rep was at our home every week I think for a month. When we have our every other month service I put notes on my account online and the rep does talk them over with my husband.
We are 150% statisfied with our service from Termix.
I had a nice experience. Everyone was nice and very professional. My only complaint is when they installed the door in my wall, to gain access to the bathroom plumbing, the technician only used two of the four required screws. He also used the screws that came with the door (This is me speculating that he did that). The screws were about half inch screws; so it barely went into the drywall. They didn't even come close to going in the studs to hold the door on securely. Why would he not use drywall screws? I ended up having to go buy dry wall screws to do this myself. I could only get two screws, on the right side of the door, into the wood studs. On the left side the screws just went into the dry wall and spun...because there is no studs there to gab the screws. So now I have a 1/8 gap on the left side because there is no stud to screw into. I'll have to go get a couple anchors for the screws that did not go into the studs. Also, the door has black stuff all over it (dirt or grease I'm assuming) I tried to clean it off but it wont come off. The door looks so dirty and the gap is completely ridiculous. I plan on fixing the job Terminix did with the door this weekend. If it wasn't for the door, I would have given them five stars.

If I could, I would give a negative star. I asked the perpetrator not to fumigate an area where I have some vegetables, my wife told him, but he went ahead and fumigated anyway. I will try to cancel my contract, but I imagine they will hide and make it very difficult for me to talk to a 'local' representative

Garbage! I had the bait-defend system. Noticed there was a termite tube that was not previously there several months after installing the system. I am positive of this because I checked the entire house prior to install. I called a Terminix. They sent a technician out to take a look. The technician simply knocked the tube off of the foundation and told me it was 'inactive', and that was it. Must have been 'active' at some point after the Terminix system was installed which means new termite activity which means the system does not work! The guarantee says that they will cover any damage from new termite activity, but I believe they attempt to blur the line between new and old and would make it a fight to prove otherwise. Canceled my service and I will never spend another dime with this company!!

the WORST of the WORST Lied about service, lied about product, totally unorganized...cancelled service yet tech kept coming by to do service (lack of communication, right?!). Keep sending me bills for service not done. I sent lengthy description of what went on, including the BBB. Terminix is STILL sending me bills for service they did wrong/didn't complete. JEEZ. How do they still stay in business?

Drive through takes way to lomg to get food
Had been a customer with them from October 2011- April 2015 but had to cancel my service after they missed seeing bed bugs in my house on two occasions when I had specially asked them to check for them. This misdiagnosis ended up costing me over $3000 in missed work pay, doctor visits, and medications. I ended up going to two different dermatologists to figure out why I was getting red bumps over my arms and legs. Since Terminix said I didn't have bed bugs I was telling the doctors that the bumps were not bed bugs and they went through different diagnosis on what it could be. It wasn't until I called Burns Pest Elimination and had them do a check that they quickly found the bed bugs.
To make Terminix even worse I called them 3 times to discuss with someone and each time was told they would look into it and call me back only to be called back once with a voice-mail left. I returned this persons call but never received a call back. Terrible customer service. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody ever again.

I'm not even gonna start on this one, just take the 3 stars! ?
We've been with Terminix for over 10 years. One time ticks got into our master bedroom. I think the neighbors had been to the mountains. Our technician came out so many times to do the room and the outside walls. Our dogs had ticks on their bodies -- not many -- we just pulled the tick off and put it in alcohol. Our present technician is great. Eric really takes care of us. Right now (June 2013) we have tiny, stinging ants. He'll get rid of them. Terminix is the best.
The grouping of these services is a little too general. For example, we have the termite protection plan with Terminix, but that's a different technician from Salvador, who comes every month. And just a few days ago we had someone from Terminix do an inspection, looking for any problems with rodents and other infestations, and he found none. So the termites and termite inspection are done by someone else, but it's still Terminix.
My recommendation is based off my experience with our account manager, Joe Guevara. In the past, before we had an account with you for our monthly service, if we called Joe to do an inspection for bed bugs or other critters he always responded to our calls , even on weekends and would show up within an hour or before the end of day. Once we opened an account Joe introduced us to our technician, Armando. As Joe and I both deal with accounts, customers, etc... I can tell you that Joe's loyalty to our account speaks volumes over other vendors. We always get a call back, our service with Armando each month is amazing and I would like to say that Armando goes above and beyond with his work and his customer service. It is our relationship with Joe, Armando and the excellent service provided each month treating our property with great chemicals that are not harmful to others and pets. I highly recommend Terminix and suggest you ask for Joe Guevara.

Complete garbage look elsewhere
Representative Paul Lee came to our home and did an inspection. Afterwards he drew up a diagram of what would be done. He also suggested that we put a special insulation in the attic. We talked about the cost , and we said we would put it on our credit card but he said they had a 12 month interest free loan that we could get if we qualified. Which we did. We went ahead and had the company come out and do the work. Then we get a letter from the loan company saying that we only have a 90 interest free loan.
My husband just called Paul Lee and he didn't remember us or the home and denied ever saying that we could get an 12 month interest free loan.
I would not recommend terminix to anyone, because of Paul Lee. It's only been a month and he doesn't remember anything about coming to Maricopa. Maybe its time for him to retire. We will be calling the home today to see if they will stand behind what Paul Lee told us.
