If you are looking for a reliable, clear communicating, and honest pest control company, this is it. I cannot say enough kind things about Josh and the service he provides. This is not your big-brand pest control company that is worried solely about numbers, as Josh takes the time to explain everything he does and why he is doing it. I have never felt pressured into any unnecessary sale or service as Josh is always professional and fully transparent on what is or isn't possible. Before every service interval I receive a text message from Josh letting me know my appointment is a few days out and I also receive a text message the day of! Talk about great communication. He has always been on time and never late for a single appointment.

Having done business with Josh and his company for a little under a year now, I feel safe in saying that I have noticed a great reduction in the bugs that were initially showing up inside my home. Josh even found anthills in my backyard that went totally unnoticed by me previously and essentially eradicated them in short order. I can safely say I look forward to Josh's visits as he seems more like a friend stopping by rather than someone I do business with. Do yourself a favor and give Family First Pest Control your business.

Family first is a great company to use! Easy to communicate with and very timely with their response. Always on time to their appointments and even gives us a heads up every time he is with a certain time from the location.. Josh is a high quality person, running a high quality business. We’ve been using him for 4 years now regularly and I can honestly say I’ve never seen spiders, crickets, or anything of that nature. There was a small issue in our kitchen because of some honey that got left out and created a sugar ant issue and he came right over and cleared that up, too.

It’s nice to have a professional around that you can lean on and trust to just do their job, how they say they’re going to do it— and when! We have been SO happy with Josh, and Family First Pest Control! Living against a wash, with a view fence, we sort of just came to “accept” that bugs were part of the deal, until Josh showed up! He is incredibly thorough and professional, and he doesn’t miss anything! We were seeing scorpions (among other things) in our house almost weekly, and have not seen any pests of any kind since Josh’s first visit. We’ve had pest control services in the past, but Josh’s dedication, knowledge, and willingness to educate his customers is far superior, and we highly recommend!

We have been using Josh with Family First Pest Control for over a year now. We absolutely love how knowledgable, thorough, and professional he is. The last couple times I have sent him messages, he responded back right away and answered all my questions. Every year previous we seemed to have gotten a cockroach or two that made it into the house around spring time. After finding several scorpions in the house and yard the weekend we moved into our new house, we called Family First. Our neighbors swore by them, and they were right! Josh came out and did an excellent job with perimeter treatments that redirected the scorpion trail away from our property. The few times we would see one, he was out within a day or 2 to re-treat (free if within 60 days of last treatment). He also shared his knowledge, patiently explaining how the various critters get around, and how.to deal with them. They only use quality products that are pet and kid safe, which is an important thing for us. Very satisfied!

Family First is a great company. First and foremost, we have not seen any critters since starting service with them over a year ago. Not only are they effective, but they are reasonably priced and very prompt and courteous. Josh even follows up a month after each service to check in and see if we have noticed any problems. So I have never used a pest control service before and never really needed one until I moved to my new house about a month and a half ago... the previous owners said they had never seen a scorpion; we found 6 within the short time of being here. We literally have everything from scorpions, cockroaches, water beetles, spiders you name name it! A friend of mine recommended Family First Pest Control and evening though I hesitated at first, I am beyond thrilled I called them! Josh (the owner) came out and answered so many questions honestly and in detail. That was really important to me since this was my first time. He had character (meaning not some robot that spouted of a line he’d used a thousand times) and showed he really cared about the work he does and the business he is trying to run! I'm one of Josh's first customers. Having owned my own remodeling business, I know what I am looking for when I do business. Unfortunately many folks feel that they are dealing with a good company when they aren't because they don't know what a job really takes to get done or what to really look for, too often they comment on their experience -which matters, but they would not know if they were being cheated or short changed. Josh enjoys what he does it shows and he is committed to customer service. You get a good deal on a good product and service with Josh. He cares about you as his customer and strives to do a great job. He doesnt show up just so he can get paid. I highly recommend his services. PS- I'm from the Midwest and because of the the way Josh does business, he would be successful there as well

Josh has been servicing our house for a while now and we've been pleased. Before we started the service we were struggling with a scorpion problem. He checked in after the first few treatments to make sure we weren't seeing as many scorpions as we had. We rarely see them anymore, so it's been a big improvement. We had an issue with ants suddenly popping up in our yard after we laid sod, and he came out right away to treat. He's really responsive, if you send an email or a text you won't be waiting forever for a reply.

Josh took over my pest control several months ago. He takes a comprehensive approach and the results have been a pest free home. I live right up against an arroyo with view fence in my backyard and side yard. You would expect to see all manner of bugs, insects and certainly scorpions. I am happy to report that I never have to kill those bugs because they are not around.

He is always on time and very friendly. He get his work done efficiently and charged a very fair price for the services provided.

We called Josh on Thursday, he was there on Friday! Josh went over everything he does in a visit as well as what to except for the next two months. He then went over our property to see what needed to be treated. After he was done he let my wife know what chemicals were used and where. Very professional and on time. Also, we had a follow up call the following week to make sure everything was okay. No bugs!
