The experience of changing my whole backyard into an inviting outdoor living space with Lone Star Landscaping was one of the most flawless,creative, and professional experiences my husband and I have had regarding any renovation project that we have done, and we have had many! This company took a small vision, and created exactly what we needed. The bonus is, the budget was spot on. This company is not a fly by night company, they have, and will be in this business for the long haul. The attention to detail, and customer service was there from day one.

We did due diligence to ensure we were getting a quality landscaping company. Chad’s team that built our gazebo and did all of our travertine tiling in the back yard is 5 star. However, we were given sub standard plants, to which many of our ground covering plants died within a week of being planted. Hibiscus plants looked unhealthy from day one of planting, as well as our Texas Mountain Laurel tree, which had some type of bug infestation which the tree lost all its leaves. We tried to reach out to resolve plant issues, and have never heard back from Chad. Torn on whether I’d recommend the company, as his crew did great work with the travertine, but there’s more to landscaping than just that.

There’s many lawn services that we have tried and BJ’s Landscaping has been the one to keep! Orlando is our regular guy and he does an amazing job every time he stops by to do you our service every couple weeks! Hard to find these days…

They LISTENED to what I wanted! Sometimes other companies only want to tell you what they think you should have. They gave me advice only when I asked for it. I had my landscaping done during a time where there was a lot of rain so they honored my wishes when I asked them to wait in-between sections being done. Then I decided to have a concrete walk-way put in and they waited again. Thank You.

Sal and team did a great job, were punctual, professional and were able to get the pavers and complete my landscaping needs at a fair price while many other companies I reached out to couldn’t, weren’t willing or just didn’t respond. I will contact Sal again for my future landscaping needs and I would recommend.

Professional service delivering consistent, on-time visits by friendly workers. The crews are nice people with supervisors that listen to requests and take care of whatever you need that same day and with a great attitude. Nick has recently expanded the management staff to be even more communicative and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

David and his team always leave our yard looking beautiful. They do great work and are very friendly and respectful. They are quick, efficient, and reliable. We are so happy to consistently have them come maintain our yard.

This is a great place to work. As far as one of the comments referring to these people? What exactly does that statement mean? They are called landscapers and did it bother you they parked on the sidewalk? Did they take your parking spot or cuz you had to walk around? Maybe that's the only place they had to park. And their work is great they are hard workers. Why don't you try to do their job and see how good you are since you seem to have a judgemental opinion on these people . You are very ignorant lady.. sorry for my comment but really I'm not.

The most inconsiderate company. ? woke up an entire house if people who had a long day of work ahead of them with a chainsaw 5 ft from or room window. And they weren't even working for us. I I derstand beating the heat. But that was ridiculous

Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Marty for a consultation on our new build front and backyard landscaping and design. My husband and I were beyond pleased with the experience he provided and couldn't be more happy with the start of our process. Marty demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, education, experience, and creativity which is truly what we were looking for. We are so excited for this design and build and truly believe the team of Botanist of the Valley will exceed our expectations of building our dream yard.

Asked for bid on normal size house with average yard clean up...$1600, 4 guys for 8 hours.....said if it takes less than 8 hours, still going to be $1600...to weed and trim and rake. I don’t know about you but I sure don’t pay people who charge for an 8 hour day but then add disclaimer that it could be less than 8 hours but still full day charged......also, he wants prepayment for his jobs and for maintenance work. That, I believe, is illegal to ask for in CA. Just thought I’d share what I found out when I asked for an estimate. Sounds very fishy to me

Good place to work at

ABC Scapes is contracted by our HOA for landscaping services. I have bushes totally blocking my 1st floor windows that haven’t been trimmed in months. ABC employee shows up with a hand pruner to trim a 8 X 10 bush. I sent them photos of the bush so they should have known what equipment to bring.

Employee leaves and never comes back. I have left 4 messages and can not get a return call. Terrible customer service. I wish our condos would use another landscaper.

Started with a chainsaw to trim tree hangings and leaf blower at 0630 this morning... Suits the business, screw the locals eh?
