Best Remodel Project in Phoenix AZ

Always a great company to work with! The staff has done extensive work for me at my home and results are what keep bringing me back.

We wanted a whole backyard makeover... new walls around pool equipment, gazebo structure, improvements to the pool, new grass, sprinklers, lamp posts, etc. Not only did LSL help communicate and guide us through this process, they came in on budget and on time, too. The results still get ooohhh and ahhhhs from my friends that come to visit and the yard (some 5 years after construction on the back yard was done) still holds up REALLY well, unlike so many I did it myself projects tend to do.
I have been able to ask the staff for advice and small follow-ups here and there over the years and have hired them on numerous times to upgrade this, and install new that. It's always done with a friendly smile and capable crew.

The latest project was for some pavers in the front yard. The HOA rejected the proposal at first - seeking more information. The communication between LSL and myself was easy, drama free, and successfully completed in short order. The work done was - as expected - on time, clean, professional, and on budget.

These guys are not the cheapest, less expensive guys in town, but they provide an amazing value. In the numerous projects I have had them run for me, I have never heard drama or observed missed time frames like so many contractors do. I never hear Well so-and-so's truck wouldn't start, so we had to move your job to next week... kind of stuff. Always heard We will be there tomorrow at 7am.... and you can almost set your watch!

These guys are MY guys... so please don't hire them.... I want them all to myself!

Chad came to my home and listened to what I wanted and he shared some ideas that actually improved my vision, Chad and his crew are very good at their craft, Chad’s attention to detail is impeccable, Ground Zero gets the call for my next project!!

Spoke with Zee to have some work done on my backyard. He was super responsive and ready to get started. We agreed on the project, time, and cost and everything was going well. Problems seemed to have occurred after they (mostly) finished the project.

During installation, one of their workers broke my water timer which is not really a big deal as it's pretty cheap to replace. However, he took it and said that he would come back the next day to replace it and attach it to the PVC pipe I asked them to install. That night, I received a bill from them, which I paid since I figured I could trust them to return and finish the job. It has been a month and there has been no contact from them despite me emailing and texting.

Overall:
Quality of work - 4/5 (why the hell is there so much sand in my backyard, it looks like a beach?!)
Personability - 5/5 (very friendly and nice)
Follow-through - 0/5 (they disappeared).

Outdoor Living Concepts upgraded our back yard, and we are very happy with the result. From Design, to execution, to the eventual outcome - all of it was first class and an enjoyable experience.

Speaking of experience, we had a great crew of folks - beginning with our Designer - Fernando. For Fernando, it doesn't come across as just a job, he truly loves what he does. He's genuinely excited for any project - smaller scale to large. Every step of the way was fantastic - and he also came to the Nursery and helped us choose our plants and trees, and he was nearly giddy with excitement about what he was thinking would work for our back yard. Great design and a very special person - that's Fernando.

George was handling the project and he was always helpful, positive, and responsive. Another great person to have. His crew did a great job. George made sure that Fernando's design came to be and that it was quality work. Exactly what you want.

Regarding the process, I'll start with this - be patient when doing a project like this. Outdoor Living Concepts has many projects - each one is important and I suspect they treat each customer that way too. When it's time for your project, you will get the individual attention and focus. Same thing for warranty stuff - it needs to be scheduled, and sometimes it might be a couple of weeks. Be patient - the reward is great.

Yes, we did run into an issue. We found out on a Friday that our very large spa would need to be delivered on the following Monday morning. The crew had not fully prepared the spot where the spa would land in the back yard, and in our front yard, they still had pavers, sand, etc, that would be in the way of the crane. I was frantically calling everyone and even reached the owner Curt. Curt, George, and Fernando all made the effort to get some of those tasks done over the weekend, and they had the crew arrive around 4am-5am on that Monday morning to get the rest done ahead of the spa install. Great teamwork and effort, and I was very appreciative. If not for this issue, I might not have ever spoken to the owner - Curt. I'm glad I did, because I see where the DNA for Outdoor Living Concepts comes from - an owner who really cares and truly wants customers to be happy. Thanks Curt!

One of our trees died and a few plants. No problem at all, no arguing, no questioning, they replaced them under warranty. For our part, we waited until the 3 months was up (as they recommend) and then called and worked out the scheduling for the warranty.

I did get a second quote from another company, which came in slightly higher, so we were happy with the price. Overall, I am extremely happy with the experience, and I would not hesitate to have Outdoor Living Concepts handle my next project. Highly recommended!

I recommend Luis & his crew to everyone I know. Not only do they do great work, they are also reasonably priced & have great customer service & communication. I am the Realtor who referred him for the job which gave him 1 star. The valve this person is talking about was to be repaired by a plumber, not this company. This company repaired the valve they were hired for & did an excellent job. I have used them personally & will continue recommending them!

Our sprinkler system needed a to be replaced and after searching online we found Botanist of the Valley. We had several quotes from different Sprinkler companies but Marty and Luis really impressed us with their knowledge, product and their total-service company. They not only replaced our entire sprinkler system - which is now all online - making our water output much more efficient for our plants, shrubs and trees, they also pruned all our trees, a huge mesquite tree on our front yard was growing dangerously sideways - threatening to topple over onto my neighbors house! But they were so knowledgable and informative on how to prune the tree that it has now started to grow straight. They also pre-programmed all our water settings so that our trees weren't getting over watered which were causing the roots to lift.

Just recently we noticed a leak in our front yard, Luis and Marty were prompt to answer our texts to assure us that they would take a look at it. The pvc pipe separate from what was installed by Botanist of the Valley had a crack - they promptly replaced it that day!

I would highly recommend Luis and his crew for any or all jobs for your landscaping needs. We were so impressed by their professionalism, service and efficiency!
