I bought a new build on a bare acre and MasterAZscapes did a fantastic job of turning it into a desert paradise. I showed an inspiration photo of my ideas for the yard to the designer, Derek, who took it and made it better. I received renderings of what my landscape would look like and given an estimate of the work. I was able to accompany the designer to the plant nursery and pick out trees and shrubs with his advice. I also picked out boulders and granite. The work crew and project manager, Luke, were fantastic. The finished project, front and back yards, was even better than I had imagined: plants, granite, contouring, irrigation, lights. And it came in on budget. Now, about six weeks later, the plants and trees are thriving. I asked for magic and that's what I got.
Everyone I came in contact with at MasterAZscapes, from the office staff to the work crew, was professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them to anyone who stops by. In fact, my landscape looks so impressive that one of my neighbors has just signed up with MasterAZscapes to do their yard.

I hired Landscaping Authority about 5 years ago for a rental house in Tempe since then our tenants are happy with the regular maintenance service since then I don’t get any yard related notices . Very happy with them.

I am very pleased with the results. The whole team was friendly, professional, and thoughtful, and the job was well-organized from day one. The whole crew worked very hard to complete the project in a timely manner. They did my backyard design at my place. I found them the best landscaping company near me.

We had this company install pavers 2 feet from our block wall and add rock between the pavers and block wall. We paid $4800! Which I felt was over priced but we were in a time crunch so we agreed to have them do the work. It took three weeks for this to be completed due to lack of communication and although my husband explained exactly what he wanted they still did not understand or take notes. I was not happy with the work they did there is a lot of dirt mixed In with the rock and they didn’t fill in the whole area with rock! I will not use this company again!

I was really happy with Abel Hardscape and his team. They were very professional and listened to everything we had to say. The landscaping, installation, and follow-up were all great. Abel even came by to check on the sprinklers while we were out of town. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a well-done job in a timely manner. Thanks, Abel!

Very clean and tidy not only at the end but every day after they have finished. I was updated every day about their arrival time and what progress has been made. Overall 100% Satisfaction. Highly recommend and I have already asked him for another project.

I am giving two stars because unfortunately, I have more complaints than praise for my experience with them. I used their services recently and will start with the good. The team of three men they sent to work on my yard were fantastic. They were friendly, efficient, and communicative. How these men could smile and be friendly while working in the hot summer sun is beyond me. I appreciated them.

On to my gripes. The office is a hot mess. I called and gave them my info to schedule an appointment, only to have to call them back five days later to say I still need an appointment (someone was supposed to reach out to me to schedule my appointment and never did). So, the second time I once again had to go through giving my information because they didn't have it. It was like I never made the first phone call, which irritated me because having my yard cleaned up was time sensitive.

They tell me someone will be out to assess my property and provide an estimate. I wait all morning well into the afternoon. I receive an email with the estimate later that evening, which irritated me. Here's why: Apparently someone came by but didn't bother to ring my doorbell. I wanted to show the person specific areas to make sure my needs were clear and there were no surprise charges. I wasted my day sitting around waiting for someone to come when in fact, they did but didn't bother to let me know. So inconsiderate.

Speaking of surprise charges, if you hire them, expect to possibly pay an additional $100 beyond what you thought you would pay. During my phone conversation with the office I was explicit in what my needs were and specifically asked what I would be charged for. At no point was it mentioned that there would be additional fees for services I didn't ask for. Yes, looking back it was vaguely mentioned in the contract as fees MAY apply (not WILL apply), however they just as easily could have placed it in the actually bid clearly. Or perhaps if I had a chance to speak to the person that came and assessed my property in ghostly fashion, this would've been covered in the conversation. I felt the way thet went about this extra charge was shady, therefore losing my trust. I paid it, but with resent as I felt trapped by what I think is slithery business practice.

So much of this could have been avoided if this company had better communication skills.

As far as my yard, I am pleased by what the men did. They were smart with the time I paid for and brought my property to a place where I can actually breathe. Thank you, labor Team!

As for the people working behind the scenes, I just can't.

These guys did an excellent job transforming our yard into what we wanted. The workers are punctual and their quality is amazing. You do have to go over the design with them a couple times so they are in full understanding of what is wanted but they are very polite and don't change you if things were not communicated clearly. I will definitely use these guys again for the next phase of our back yard.

Brandon and his team have always gone above and beyond in all the work they've done at my home. Their palm trimming crew is extremely courteous, timely, and puts in extra effort to make sure they leave your yard looking better then ever. I had Pristine Green re-landscape my entire front yard to a well designed and great looking xeriscape landscape. Neighbors still mention how great it looks! I can't recommend their work enough, for everything from a clean-up to a new yard.

David and his team always leave our yard looking beautiful. They do great work and are very friendly and respectful. They are quick, efficient, and reliable. We are so happy to consistently have them come maintain our yard.

We had major leaks in our irrigation system and took a bid from Botanist of the Valley. They gave us a bid that not only addressed our current issue but also used the best products to help us save water with a new system. I really appreciated their whole system focus! I was not disappointed with my choice as they were on time and left my home better looking than when they came. All the digging that was done was not noticeable. Communication during the job was excellent. Both Emo and Bryan were the best! Thank you Botanist!

This is a great place to work. As far as one of the comments referring to these people? What exactly does that statement mean? They are called landscapers and did it bother you they parked on the sidewalk? Did they take your parking spot or cuz you had to walk around? Maybe that's the only place they had to park. And their work is great they are hard workers. Why don't you try to do their job and see how good you are since you seem to have a judgemental opinion on these people . You are very ignorant lady.. sorry for my comment but really I'm not.

Absolute most incompetent landscape company I've ever had the displeasure of unfortunately dealing with. What this company needs is someone who can train in the art of power sweeping with backpack blowers. Every Tuesday like clockwork, I as a residential owner of a condominium property go from a nice clean patio and instantly when the guy(s) with the blowers pass by... BOOM! Dirt, debris, trash, rocks, gravel, leaves you name it everywhere! Time after time I have even caught the men and had them to clean off what mess they have created on my patio, and asked they not blow everything under the gates of our units...In one ear and out the other. Asides from leaving personal space a mess? Vehicles in the lot are finely coated with a thick layer of dirt looking like the worst of haboobs has hit... Unacceptable! Leave landscaping to the professionals and NOT these guys!

The worst landscaping company in The Valley. Unprofessional and very unreliable. I do not recommend this company.
