My 35' pine tree died during the summer heat and I contacted several arborists and chose Jon Bora's company. Am SO RELIEVED I did. I told them what I needed and wanted - they gave me a quote and said they could accomplish it all..... and they DID - better than even I expected. Their crew was SO GOOD. Worked together like a team with such knowledge and precision.

After being conned by so many companies in the Phoenix/Sun City West area over the years ..... FINALLY an honest Company.

Oh where to begin.

We bought a house with a couple of trees in need of proper pruning as well as some palms that needed care. Our neighbor gave us Mike's name saying he takes excellent care of their palms. Great - or so I thought.
Mike came out and gave me an estimate. I was assured his crews were certified arborists, and would receive quality care.

Unfortunately, I was not able to be home when Jeremiah and his crew arrived to prune. He did call me so I was very clear how important it was to shape the two trees in the front yard properly. He was also hired to fertilize the palms in the back yard and prune them without making them look pinned.

What I found when I arrived was a mess. The trees in the front looked hacked and had a tremendous amount of branches still needing to be pruned in addition to water shoots all over the place. I sent Mike photos, and called his office. It took forever to get someone scheduled to return. I did learn the delay was to Mike having Covid-19. Okay, grace.

Finally, a team was scheduled to return which they did. I was present, and the trees looked better when they left. The team left a 12' long 4' high pile of branches saying they didn't have enough room to take it that day, but would be by the next day. After over a month of being told someone would pick it up, I finally sent an exasperated text to Mike and he apologized stating he was out due to Covid-19, but would have the pile removed. I reminded him that excuse was used TWO months prior. When I called his office the next day as a last attempt, the person answering the phone was shocked he told me he had Covid-19. It was news to her.......

I paid someone else to remove their debris pile and just want to spread the word to stay away from this business. Read all the negative complaints on the Better Business Bureau site as well.

Great tree removal company, I couldn't have asked for more! I live on the Paradise Valley / Scottsdale border and was worried the city was going to fine me for a dead tree over my back wall. Rob removed the tree and didn't even hurt the wall. Very impressive!

I've used these guys for years. I have a HUGE mesquite tree in my front yard. At least once, sometimes twice a year - I have them come out and have do a Top, Thin, and Shape. JR and his team do a great job. I rely on them so I don't get fan mail from City of Phoenix for growing my tree into their light pole

Ismael does the best job hands down! He is reliable and reasonable. He and his crew were so nice, very hard working, and went above and beyond to do a fantastic job. I have recommended them to people who have used the service and have been so happy! You will not be disappointed using Ismael's tree service!!!

The best service tree care

Would not use anyone else. They've removed six large trees from our yard in the past five years. They grind the stump to the ground and clean up after they are done, so you would never know the old tree was there. Great prices, too. They were able to save the surrounding plants and even spare the roof when removing a trunk that had grown into the side of the house. I recommended them to my parents and would recommend them again and again. They know what they're doing.

Service was great. Good communication, job done correctly. Would recommend to anyone.

Guillermo the owner of the business did such and amazing job getting rid of our Mesquite Tree that would leave a mess on our front yard. He was really professional and as well made sure that all my property was safe. Definitely sticking with these guys for any other project!

Despite some rescheduling issues (just bad luck I think), these guys did a great job removing, stump grinding and cleaned up after themselves. Even covered the stump with dirt and rocks from the yard. Price was very good. It's obvious they are very busy, communication is a bit delayed but for the price and quality they provide, I would recommend and use again.

Initial request was placed by my husband in regards to a water hammer noise we were having with our back yard irrigation system. When the technician arrived I again went over the issues we were having. Turns out the water hammer issue was not addressed and he replaced everything else but the valve for the hammer noise. We had to have another service call.

We disputed the second $75 service call fee (which we thought was fair) and were paying for the valve replacement and the rest of the invoice. The customer service agent would not back down. Also please note the agent also wanted us to pay our bill before even receiving an invoice.

When getting service from this company ensure your request is in writing. We do not recommend nor will we ever use this company again.

I don't really know who gives reviews about this company they never answer the phone at anytime day nights or weekends confusing.

They Did not show up for schedule appointment that had a two hour window. Their business phone goes straight to voicemail. Very poor customer service and I am pissed I waisted my morning waiting around to give them business.

Willie didn't complete work that was agreed to and his price was high. Would not recommend him.

Horrible experience with Mike Wilhelm, owner of Mike's Tree Service, Inc. Tried to work cooperatively with him, he yelled at me on the phone and hung up on me twice. Maybe he's just abusive to women but I will never use nor recommend his company.
