Today, Humberto & his crew from Chip off the Old Block Tree service removed 2 TX Oakes, trimmed an Olive, Ficus, 2 Citrus trees and all the palms. They were quick and did an excellent job. I'll use Chip Off the Old Block for future tree trimming. Thanks for the GOOD Job!

Zack and his team from Harris & Sons took down a huge tree in my front yard and ground down an old stump. They were done in no time and cleaned my yard well. I will definitely use them again. Reasonably priced and professional.

Design Tree Maintenance removed an old, dying tree from our yard and replaced it with a new tree. Overall, they did an awesome job, and we would highly recommend their services! They efficiently cut down our (very large) old tree, ground the stump, and planted the new tree on the same day. They even ran new drip lines from our existing system to the tree and educated us about how long to water it going forward. The new tree is warrantied by them for the next year, and they have come out a couple of times to give us bottles of fertilizer and to check to make sure it is getting enough water. This really is a great company with nice, helpful, and knowledgeable people!

From the beginning for asking for a quote for removing a tree they are very responsive. Very good price, very professional and punctual.

This is an amazing company, everyone from Kaitlan and Jennifer on the phone, Andy handling the job appraisal and Kyle and Kory who removed the tree stumps and did a fabulous job. Our first experience with Cutting Edge Tree Services was just great! Tom answered my questions and promptly sent a cost estimate for trimming our large mesquite tree. The service team arrived on the scheduled date and was professional, safety-conscience and efficient. Tom’s service team not only did a wonderful job trimming and thinning our mesquite, but they completely removed all the trimmings and other ground debris. I’ll be calling Tom again in the spring for the next service. Thanks to Tom and his service team!

The previous owner wasn't good to work with or stood behind his business. I would have given him a 1 star. However once Jennifer took over as the owner, she was definitely a 5 star person who really stood behind her business and would always text or call me the same day I would contact her. Not only did she stop by initially to see and try to fix the previous owner's screw-ups, she personally came and even did some of the work. I can't say enough about how professional and ethical she is. Thus, I gave them a 4 star only because of the original problems he caused. I would give Jennifer's company a 5 star review. She did great.

These people are con artists. Don't ever pay up front. They have a trail of unfinished businesses throughout the entire valley!!! DON'T GIVE THESE GUYS MONEY UP FRONT!!! $0!!!

I hired Hummingbird Tree Care last year and they did a fantastic job. However, I’ve attempted to hire them twice and twice they were a no show.

Our first no show was November 3rd 2022. Johnny confirmed our appointment about a two weeks prior. However, was then completely non responsive when we texted or called to verify we were still on for our appointment 24 hours before. Of course day of he never showed. We even called and texted to make sure he was ok? Again no explanation or return call.

After months of not hearing from him I called and spoke to him (this time he answered) I explained he had done work for us in the past and we would like to have him out to crown our tree. He asked if I could send him photos. I was driving at the time and forgot to send them. So the next day he texted me a reminder. I immediately sent photos. We exchanged texts and I was given a price of 1200.00. I agreed to the fee and he confirmed he would arrive on February 16th between 7-8am. I texted him on Monday the 13th to verify we’re still set (given our past experience). Again no response and again a no show on the 16th. I called both numbers he has on the internet with no option to leave a message with either. Therefore, I texted him and emailed him asking for an explanation? Again non responsive.

I am disgruntled because I took off work, boarded my dog, and picked up the yard/took down stringed light—all in anticipation of our trees being serviced. Not once but twice for him to no show. I find this disrespectful and completely unprofessional.

I guess he doesn’t value 1200.00 and lacks human decency to notify people of rescheduling or postponing a job if they’re setback due to inclement weather or employee shortages etc.

We are completely understanding people. Heck we offered him a second chance and didn’t hold the first no show against his company. However, two no shows is where I draw the line and write an honest review. Hopefully, others do not experience the unprofessionalism of hummingbird tree care.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

Tree trimming was satisfactory but the gate to my back yard was scratched up. Prior to this trimming the gate was covered with a tarp to protect it from scratching. This time the tarp was not used and I now need to have it repainted.

We are in the home buying process and needed trees on a property to be evaluated for any possible issues or costs related to the purchase. Howard was very knowledgeable and walked us through each tree, identified the species, health, maintenance and costs. He provided us with a full quote the next day within our inspection deadline. We were extremely pleased to find a professional who actually knows what they are doing. Thank you.

ABC Scapes is contracted by our HOA for landscaping services. I have bushes totally blocking my 1st floor windows that haven’t been trimmed in months. ABC employee shows up with a hand pruner to trim a 8 X 10 bush. I sent them photos of the bush so they should have known what equipment to bring.

Employee leaves and never comes back. I have left 4 messages and can not get a return call. Terrible customer service. I wish our condos would use another landscaper.
