Great service and wonderful job on my interior flooring. Workers were very professional and courteous. I would have given a 4.5 if I could. The reason for the non 5 review is due to the fact that the workers did leave some trash in our sinks.

My wife and I did a lot of research collecting and formulating in advance our goals for our kitchen remodel. Steve Shinn and Aaron Thomas were extremely professional in every phase of the project. Our 1981 semi-custom home in Tempe was not an open floorplan by design. Steve listened and looked at all our research and together we came up with solutions that met our expectations and budget. Steve applied the classic work space triangle concept that is the cornerstone to making our new kitchen chef friendly. He included some extras like the pull out vertical pantry cabinets, deep appliance drawer cabinets and two waist-high spice drawers that are all utilized daily. Soffits were removed to allow full height upper cabinets greatly expanding cabinet capacities.

We wanted the warm look and feel of wood cabinetry. In particular we liked the minimum reveal look associated with modern European style cabinets. Steve did trade-off comparisons for us on locally crafted vs factory cabinets from the east coast. The local source worked out well as some unplanned adjustments were quickly crafted with little delay to the project.

We further challenged Steve with our lighting and power requirements. We have zoned ceiling lighting with small LED can lights as LED's were then becoming reasonably priced. All the appliance power outlets are hidden under the cabinets and under the granite breakfast bar. This solution allowed for a plug free stainless steel continuous backsplash with under cabinet mounted LED lighting.

In summary: Our experience using Homework Remodels was beyond our expectations. They should be high on your list to talk to and see if they can be the solution you have been looking for your remodel.

The installers arrived on separate back-to-back days and were friendly, efficient, and did great work, leaving our home with little or no clean-up after the flooring installation.

Not sure how to begin. SRS just finished a full remodel of my home on the golf course in a Ocotillo that was completely original. Arches, carpet, bad layout, choppy, etc. We wanted open spaces, and modern clean design and high end finishes. I interviewed several GCs and having done dozens of remodels in my life, went with SRS on a hunch. Best decision I have made. The quality of work exceeded my expectations and the quality of all the men and women involved was beyond what I could ask for. I’m actually going to miss seeing these guys daily (although I’m so glad it’s done). 4 months to finish a job that most GCs had told me would take 6 minimum. Great crew.

Does all of our rental properties and our personal homes. Even went to North Carolina for us to remodel our bathroom in our vacation home.

Can’t speak to the quality of the work, as it never took place. Contacted company, requested a quote, sent pics of the job and a description, was told I would have a quote soon. Over the course of a week, I was told “will email the quote this afternoon”, “will e mail the quote within the hour” “I’m working on it right now and will send it”. All those were on different days. So, if someone can’t give you a quote when they say they will, how can you trust they will actually show up to do the work? My advice would be to avoid this company, regardless of how nice the pics on his site look. Not reputable or responsible.

They did an epoxy finish on my patio floor. Everything went smoothly and I was very pleased with the results. I would and have given this companys name to friends and family. They also were very pleased with the work they have done.

I have done work as a sub contractor (plumber) with many contractors over the years. I have found that Gilbert and Centennial Builder’s truly care about the clients and the end result. As a business owner and sub contractor…. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them in my home.

Buildco transformed our backyard. As soon as I made the phone call they came out to discuss our ideas on the yard, gave a fair estimate in a timely manner and started and completed the project as scheduled. From the initial estimate with Gary to discussing the project throughout its duration with Joe to open and clear communication with Rosemary for payments, we could not be happier that we went with this company. Professional and skilled workmanship that we are so excited to show off to family and friends. Highly recommend!
