What a fantastic experience. Can’t say enough about the whole team at arrowhead deck. My 1998 kool deck and cement patio were looking tired and old. We decided to go with travertine pavers and so happy we did. The whole yard looks like a resort. Only complaint is now we realize the rest of the yard needs a refresh :). But that’s a good thing. Arrowhead delivered on everything they promised which is so rare today. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop but it never did. The crews attention to detail was second to none. No skipping the details. Everything was done on schedule.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

On time and his work is excellent. I will have him fix anything that is needed at my house and when we are ready to remodel kitchen and bathrooms, Moko is the only contractor I will call.

Bathroom remodel came out great. Improved the clustered small space design by rearranging the entire design to make more walking space.

The initial technician that came out to assess the roof damage was very professional and even told me what things I should purchase to patch myself until they could come back and do a complete job. On the day of the repair the crew arrived right on time first thing in the morning and completed the job in less than 3 hours. Very professional. Very quick. Would use again. :)

I would highly recommend this company. When you call PCC Roofing you talk directly to the owner (Sean) who answered all my questions throughly and professionally. Besides replacing the roof they also replaced all the facia boards and were kind enough to deliver the facia and trim boards a couple of weeks ahead of time so I could pre-paint them which meant I only had to do a little touch up when the job was completed!!! His brother Brain ran the crew and also was extremely professional and answered any questions that came up. By far, best job I've had overall. Dan Keen is an selfless, honest and reliable boss who has literally taken shirt(coat) off his own back for me and has done many other acts of random kindness. He looks out for allhis employees as they were family. His work is unmatchable on all levels at a reasonable cost.

What an amazing company! Great work, my home is now gorgeous! Kind, professional owner and employees! I bought a home with many issues. They replaced tile, had quartz counters installed in bathrooms and kitchen, installed custom backsplash that they designed especially for me, changed light fixtures inside and outside, installed blinds, changed out large mirrors and did landscaping! They did all this at a better price than any other quote. Hard working and super polite employees. I highly recommend this company!!!!
