Richard and Jodi are quality people - sincere, open, direct. We met Richard at their office and reviewed various concrete floor techniques for our condo. He explained each, pros and cons. We chose a polyurethane finish to lighten the look of the gray concrete with a small amount of glitter added to reflect highlights under direct light - much like a pearl finish on an automobile. He made us some samples and we scheduled the work. His guys were on time, neat (they laid down plastic since this is a condo with carpeted hallways to the unit), and they listened to our instructions for the type of look we wanted. We expected more of a mess, but the team was efficient and kept the dust to a minimum. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend Sledge to anyone.

For the past 2 years I have had nothing but grief cleaning my back patio floors. I decided to do something about it and hired First Class Coatings - Epoxy Arizona to do an Epoxy Granite Floor Installation. They used an Industrial Grinder to prepare the surface with virtually no dust, which is amazing. They installed the floor system in 2 days and they were punctual and very clean and neat. Eric recommended a urethane system to be sun protective which I was appreciate because I did not want my floor to discolor in the outside sun. It has been over 4 years since the installation and I still love my floor ... I referred him to many of my friends and they were very satisfied just like me. I also made sure that they were currently a Licensed Contractor, and they were... Beware, many companies are not currently licensed.... I hope this review helps others in choosing such an excellent company.. Highly Recommend-and Satisfied Customer..

We used them to do our pool decking and they did a great job! They the job was done well and they communicated with us along the way. I highly recommend them for very reasonable priced quotes and the quality of work.

Frank and his team did a great job on our stem wall. They said it would be done in 4 days, they arrived on time everyday and finished on the 4th day. The results look great!

Our condos UNFORTUNATELY contracted this company to complete balcony restorations. In addition to severely under quoting us with financials AND time, they take ZERO responsibility in securing their workplace. They have slowly, and surely stretched their legs out, taking up more room than originally described. Each time, they have given us the excuse that this was “unforeseen”. Because they do not have the correct equipment to appropriately complete the job, they have invaded on our freedom by leaving their equipment on our property, and expect US to be responsible for what happens. This job was too big for them, they should have never let us believe that they were able to do this. The original proposal stated that we would be without full use of our property for only weeks. Weeks turned into months; SEVEN to be specific. But I was one of the lucky ones. Some have gone without access to their balconies for OVER A YEAR. NOW, apparently a transient accessed one of their scaffolding, and instead of them being responsible and securing their own equipment, they SEALED our back doors, leaving a sliver of sunlight in many instances tacking on our prison sentence for who knows how long. Funny thing is, they locked us in, and those on the outside have access to the locks. When I asked if the reason they locked us in is because of ONE person that they were unable to control, “Paul Lo Pinto ie; PJ” said, “Yes, we sealed 51 units because of one man”. Who does this? I pay an excessive amount of HOA money only to be stripped of my amenities because this construction company got in over their head. We are prisoners, and management finds it amusing. How much more will you strip from us? Haven’t you taken enough? Lastly, there is NO WHERE in the contract that gives permission for these people to board us inside, take our parking, block private streets off and threaten tow people who try and park on the street, wreck rooftops, cause deep seeded cracks in resident’s ceilings, take our lounge, proudly begin construction at 5:30 am, 5 days a week for over TWO YEARS, etc. If they only would purchase the equipment necessary to complete the job on time, and hold themselves accountable for their equipment, we wouldn’t be TRAPPED in our homes. Don’t hire these guys! It is a HUGE mistake! They do not think about the residents, they only think about what will save them money, so they can put more in their pockets. See picture attached. This is what we have been dealing with for well over a year, even if they aren’t working on your specific property... because it’s “easier”. Keep your money, Porter. Us homeowners regret the day you stepped on our property.

I just called Five Star to request a quote for some work. A guy answered the phone and I said “hi, how are you today?” He said “who’s calling”...I gave my name and he promptly hung up on me! I believe he thought I was a solicitor because I asked how he was before staying what I was calling for! What the heck??

Great team and happy we found them. Very professional, timely, and transparent throughout the entire process! You get what you pay for in this industry and we are very pleased, this was our 3rd property over the last 5 years and all three are in perfect condition, thank you Steve!
