We had a concrete project go south on us and the finished product was sub par at best. We contacted Sun Valley and had the driveway diamond ground and polyaspartic coated. I was looking at 6 different epoxy floor companies all ranging in price and I guess you could say quality, at least want sounded like what would or would not be quality. There were a couple way cheaper but they use epoxy you buy in the store, don’t diamond grind, prep or put protective top coats after they are done. It came down to two companies, Epoxy Arizona and 1 other. They both offered me the same exact product, same finish, same prep, same everything, but the other company was much more pricy. Maybe they didn’t do as many floors as first class. I talked to Eric several times and he never rushed me and answered all my questions and went over cleaning the floor even on first call. He was able to get me on the schedule very quick. His first guy came out to do the prep work. I was able to see the process and it was amazing. The guy worked with concrete for over 20 years. He paid very close attention to detail and sealed every crack and he perimeter of the garage. Later that day the next crew came in and laid the epoxy down and threw the chips. I did not see them do this, but when I came home it looked amazing. This morning they came out to finish the job with the protective top coat and it just turned out looking like a million dollar garage. They didn’t ask for a dollar until I was 100% satisfied with the project. There was a little hole in the epoxy after the first day in a crack, I didn’t mention it and after the second visit they had it filled! Worth every penny and would highly recommend this company

These guys are a well oiled machine. It is very impressive how Shane and his team have everything down to a science. Everything went exactly how it was explained to me. The thing that impressed me the most is how genuinely happy his team is. There were three guys that put down my garage floor. When I walked up to see how things were going they all came over with smiles, introduced themselves and answered any questions I had. In addition, Shane came by to check on the progress and make sure everything was on track. I love the quality check. He reassured me if there was anything I didn't like about the floor or the process that he would make it right. We have no complaints and love the new look of our garage floors. It's the easiest money I've spent since we purchased our home.

We had our floors done when we first moved in and they looked great. The issue is when your floor settles and there are chips/cracks. I have had an awful time trying to get any response or an appointment even to fix my floors. It looks horrible with a chip right in the hallway and we are trying to sell our home. The customer service is very poor. I am still waiting with no actions after several weeks. I would not recommend them at this time. It is unfortunate as they have a nice product.

I just called Five Star to request a quote for some work. A guy answered the phone and I said “hi, how are you today?” He said “who’s calling”...I gave my name and he promptly hung up on me! I believe he thought I was a solicitor because I asked how he was before staying what I was calling for! What the heck??

I would love to give this company 5 stars as they helped me in a time of need the same day I called them. They coated six showers in Epoxy. They did of course charge me for the rush service.

Why 1 star? The epoxy shower coating started pealing off the wall two days after installation. Here is where the story begins.

I called the owner a few days after we noticed the epoxy was already coming off. It took about 5 phone calls to reach him and he DID eventually come out and look at the problem. It took another two weeks to reach him again. He acknowledged we were still waiting on him to fix the epoxy. Two more weeks go by in which I called him and had co-workers call him (about 12 calls in total). We eventually got a call back from his associate who scheduled us on a Monday and Tuesday. The re-work required us to close our store completely. I was of course not happy about this, but did indeed stop taking reservations for these two days in order to get the work done.... can you guess what happens next?

Monday comes around and the company doesn't show up. We call the Owner of the company who says his guys will be there at 5pm... merely 7 hours past the scheduled time.... 5pm rolls around and no one shows up. We wait around for another 2 hours and no one.

Long story short this company never showed up and we are forced to hire another company to fix the poor workmanship of the first company. On top of that we are out two days worth of appointments..... STAY CLEAR!!!
