My wife and I own a 53 year old house here in Phoenix and as one can imagine, the driveway, garage and back patio concrete slabs were looking a tad beat up (cracks, gouges, stains, etc.). We decided it was high time to do something before it got too bad and the only option was new concrete. Did a quick Google search and Sun Valley Concrete Coatings caught my eye.

Contacted them and they responded very quickly and within a day or two, Rene was on premise and supplied us with a very reasonable quote to which we quickly agreed to (I normally get three quotes for such a major home project, but I went with my gut that was telling me Rene with Sun Valley is the way to go). They put us down for a three day work schedule a week or so out and BOOM, Rene and his crew were on-site, on-time as expected and got right to it with no messing around (they got ‘er done in two days)!

The results DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with how it rejuvenated our old driveway, garage and back patio whilst significantly improving the overall “curb appeal” of the house (it no doubt has increased the overall value of the property). Rene was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had, and we had NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever. This company doesn't take responsibility for their actions. Driving down I-17 and one of their trucks blows a tire. (Ok. That sucks) Then the driver keeps driving for almost 1/2 mile to get off the freeway. In this time debris from the truck and trailer are flying off and struck my car. The 2 employees did not speak any English, when I was able to get a hold of Ivan their boss he did not even care. He told me to file a report with DPS, which I did. I then called back and he did not talk to me, I called the next day, same thing. I did leave a message with NO return phone call, I then waited 2 days thinking maybe they were busy, NOPE, still NO call back. I called again and was pushed off to Matt and he said they will not do anything about it but their insurance guy would call me. 2 days later he did call and said, sorry we will not replace your tire because it was not our fault. This is not right and of course the insurance guy was not on scene but the DPS officer was who wrote the debris did come from their truck. This company should replace my tire and I should NOT have to bear the cost of replacement because of their lack of vehicle maintenance!!

I had these guys put 125' of curbing in my front yard while I was at work. For the most part it looked pretty good. Its not the best quality concrete mix out there but I'm thinking it will hold up. The first thing I noticed when I got home was a good sized lump right in the middle of my front yard. I contacted them and was told they charge more for any prep work and that their machine will follow the ground. I then told him that if I was contacted telling me there would be a lump in my yard I would have paid to have them take 3 minutes to level out the roughly 2-3 feet of uneven ground. They would not come back to fix it without charging me more which I understand but what I don't understand is it could have taken a 20 second phone call or text to let me know and very easily taken care of.
