I had hired another flooring company to install my carpet and tile and two days before my scheduled install they told me they would not be coming and backed out of the job. I had a timeline I needed to meet so I luckily found Atomic Construction , they came through quickly and did a great job. I had vinyl luxury plank installed and plush carpet. Both look great! I appreciated that they had multiple teams to complete the jobs in a timely manor.

My wife and I were looking to update our flooring. We wanted a wood look but did not want the upkeep or the price of wood. We had shopped Home Depot, Lowes, and a couple other big flooring stores. One of my customers suggested we visit Arizona Floors. Well, best thing we ever did. We met with Robert and he was very knowledgeable. He explained the advantages of a wood look ceramic tile. We were able to take home a few samples. Two days later, Robert came out for a measure and had a quote same day. We were very impressed with the level of service we received and went ahead with our purchase from Arizona Floors and have them do the installation. Two weeks later we have our new floors. They are perfect. We will be a customer for life, you can count on that. Thank you Arizona Floors.

Reading other recent reviews of Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs not finishing jobs, and coming up with strange excuses not to finish a job is very familiar as this is exactly what happened to me. I spent a great deal of time researching local flooring contractors who specialize in refinishing hardwood floors. After both Rachel and Heath visited my project site, they were confident that they could both improve the existing engineered hardwood and match new planks to the old floor if I was able to find the same material. I searched everywhere and was able to purchase just what we needed. Additionally, Heath was very insistent that I complete all other work in the house before he returned to install the new flooring and refinish the existing floors.

My other contractors and painters took great care to protect the floors while they worked, and after finishing their work as planned, the existing floors looked nearly identical to when we began. When Heath returned on the day we scheduled to begin the work, he suddenly decided that he no longer wanted to do the job. Furthermore, he said the whole plan was a terrible idea, and the only option he would recommend was to tear out all floors and put in vinyl plank. If I was going to pursue this option, I would have been able to choose from hundreds of local companies who only do new vinyl plank installs, and would not have waited till the end of my project to have Urban Customs perform the refinishing they agreed to.

While I spent a couple days trying to decide what new course of action to take, and get additional flooring installation bids (now that my plans were completely up in the air), Heath spent about 15 minutes in the home spraying one room to prepare for flooring and removed a couple pieces of old flooring.

I ultimately decided to discontinue with Urban Customs and I let Heath know the same, as he had changed his mind by the time it was his turn to work on the refinishing job we discussed and agreed to months ago (and I had already paid my deposit for the same). What happened next was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING... when Heath responded that night, he decided that I owed him $529.84 for the 15 minutes he spent preparing to install floors!!! No floors were actually installed, and the INSANE cost to spray for a couple minutes and remove a couple pieces of old floor were NEVER discussed with me, and if they were, I would have definitely found another company to complete this work! That comes out to nearly $2000/hr in labor!!! This money has been unfairly deducted from my deposit, and I have absolutely no recourse as this fraudulent and greedy local company has completely screwed me and essentially derailed my remodeling plans.

Note: While going back and reviewing other reviews and supposed credentials/accreditations of Urban Customs, I noticed that quite a bit of their websites and even their original estimate and contract (which they decided to back out of) list them as a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business. If you take a quick trip over to the BBB website, you will see quite clearly: Urban Customs, Flooring Contractors -- NOT BBB ACCREDITED.

BEWARE IF YOU WORK WITH THEM GIVEN THESE DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ADVERTISING.

AK Brand Flooring are amazing. Ali has done tiling projects on two houses for me as I transitioned and moved. The first was a hard to match Travertine that he went out of his way to find. The second was a project during a holiday week. Tony came in and ripped out previous tile and carpet and then installed a gorgeous wood look tile. We had vinyl plank floor installed as well as new baseboard. The installers did an excellent job. Great attention to detail and no short cuts. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have new flooring installed.

From start to finish Floor Source has been awesome. Cy was very informative and helpful, Danielle was always so nice and professional, very accommodating when we had to reschedule. The installers were ontime, worked so hard, and did a wonderful job, even moved and put back furniture. Just overall experience was great ? Love our new carpet!

Daniel was very professional from the moment I contacted him. He promptly returned my calls and was on time for appointments. His price was very fair, (more than) and he is a master at his craft! I was very nervous at first not ever having had a laminate floor installed, but Daniel did an absolutely fabulous job! The floor looks amazing. He was able to use every piece of material with little waste, and we were actually able to return some of the material which saved us even more money! I'm actually a hyper critical person and it is super rare that a company impresses me. I want to thank you for your kindness, understanding my tricky situation my contractor left me with and your communication. The crew were indeed miracle workers and made the floors awesome - but what I found so touching was the Candle left for me in my living room - on a DUSTLESS piece of furniture that was prior to their arrival totally covered in grinding dust. They dusted a room they didn't even do their work in! Truly thoughtful. They were wiping up another companies dust.
Thank you for putting this remodel back on track - it really means a lot to me and my family in our forever home.

Had different typed, which a lot of them don't.

Works for Pulte Homes. Improperly installed tile that is buckling. Scheduled repairs for February, months ago. ILG does not try to order the tile until the week before the repairs are scheduled. Tells Pulte the tile is now discontinued and cancels the repairs. Now they will supposedly let us choose from products with a similar lifetime, but won't have choices available until the week they were supposed to be repairing the floor. Poor quality and poor service.
