Best Home Design in Phoenix AZ

A professional team arrived at our little cabin in Munds Park and completely transformed the place. The guys were trustworthy (we let them sleep over 2 nights to complete the work) and hard working. We had an uneven floor that they were able to work with and complete the work perfectly down to the last detail. We are second-time customers of Atomic and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Working with David was great. He did a fantastic job meeting our needs and provided pricing better than anywhere else in Arizona. Product was available quickly and David gave us exceptional support throughout the evaluation, purchase and pick up process

Reading other recent reviews of Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs not finishing jobs, and coming up with strange excuses not to finish a job is very familiar as this is exactly what happened to me. I spent a great deal of time researching local flooring contractors who specialize in refinishing hardwood floors. After both Rachel and Heath visited my project site, they were confident that they could both improve the existing engineered hardwood and match new planks to the old floor if I was able to find the same material. I searched everywhere and was able to purchase just what we needed. Additionally, Heath was very insistent that I complete all other work in the house before he returned to install the new flooring and refinish the existing floors.

My other contractors and painters took great care to protect the floors while they worked, and after finishing their work as planned, the existing floors looked nearly identical to when we began. When Heath returned on the day we scheduled to begin the work, he suddenly decided that he no longer wanted to do the job. Furthermore, he said the whole plan was a terrible idea, and the only option he would recommend was to tear out all floors and put in vinyl plank. If I was going to pursue this option, I would have been able to choose from hundreds of local companies who only do new vinyl plank installs, and would not have waited till the end of my project to have Urban Customs perform the refinishing they agreed to.

While I spent a couple days trying to decide what new course of action to take, and get additional flooring installation bids (now that my plans were completely up in the air), Heath spent about 15 minutes in the home spraying one room to prepare for flooring and removed a couple pieces of old flooring.

I ultimately decided to discontinue with Urban Customs and I let Heath know the same, as he had changed his mind by the time it was his turn to work on the refinishing job we discussed and agreed to months ago (and I had already paid my deposit for the same). What happened next was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING... when Heath responded that night, he decided that I owed him $529.84 for the 15 minutes he spent preparing to install floors!!! No floors were actually installed, and the INSANE cost to spray for a couple minutes and remove a couple pieces of old floor were NEVER discussed with me, and if they were, I would have definitely found another company to complete this work! That comes out to nearly $2000/hr in labor!!! This money has been unfairly deducted from my deposit, and I have absolutely no recourse as this fraudulent and greedy local company has completely screwed me and essentially derailed my remodeling plans.

Note: While going back and reviewing other reviews and supposed credentials/accreditations of Urban Customs, I noticed that quite a bit of their websites and even their original estimate and contract (which they decided to back out of) list them as a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business. If you take a quick trip over to the BBB website, you will see quite clearly: Urban Customs, Flooring Contractors -- NOT BBB ACCREDITED.

BEWARE IF YOU WORK WITH THEM GIVEN THESE DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ADVERTISING.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The owner is so responsive. He got me a quote and answered all my questions without me having to wait all week for someone to get back to me. He placed my order for tile on a Tuesday and delivered it to my home in Mesa on Thursday! He unloaded everything in my garage for me. I will absolutely be using AK brands for all of my projects and will send my friends and family to him as well. Thank you so much!!

European Design just completed our floors - wood style pircelain tile, carpet and baseboards. We began working with Jonas in the showroom. We visited a number of times; deciding between wood, wood tiles and vinyl flooring. Jonas was very patient and knowledgeable, guiding us through the decision process. Once we decided, we worked with Marin for the estimation and installation. A few weeks before the holidays, we agreed on a start date about 3 weeks in the future. The demolition started on time, and the job finished on time. A few times, we met with Marin to make decisions, and we stopped by almost daily to see the progress. The tile crew was great, explaining what they were doing, making us comfortable with their skill and ouri decision. We were also getting the house interior painted.Marin worked with us to make the timing work, scheduling the carpet installation after the painting was done. We have had a few questions since the job was completed and Marin has been very responsive. Bottom line, it looks great!

We searched the valley for a few months trying to find the right flooring, at the right price. Floorsource was one of the early companies we considered and became the clear choice as we shopped. They were tentative and willing to do what it took to find the style we wanted. Not only did they find what we wanted, but installed it on time and at a great price. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for value and integrity.

I met Daniel a few years ago when he repaired a problem in the floor of our house which we were selling. He came to our house on a Sunday because we needed the help quickly. We hired him to install a wood floor in our new home and he was a great help. He warned us against with the wood we had chosen. It was too thin not of great quality. He found us a thicker and better product for less money. He completed our job quickly and professionally. He did a great job. He is very personable and was a pleasure to have him in our home. Had about 800 sq ft of ceramic tile removed .I was a bit skeptical about the dust free claim however I was amazed that indeed the process was dust free. Maryanne and crew showed up on time, everyone knew exactly what to do and they got right to work, they were very courteous , efficient and tidy.Best of all my ugly tile was finally gone in a matter of a few hours and I didn't have a mess to clean up, 5 stars, Many Thanks!

Had different typed, which a lot of them don't.

Works for Pulte Homes. Improperly installed tile that is buckling. Scheduled repairs for February, months ago. ILG does not try to order the tile until the week before the repairs are scheduled. Tells Pulte the tile is now discontinued and cancels the repairs. Now they will supposedly let us choose from products with a similar lifetime, but won't have choices available until the week they were supposed to be repairing the floor. Poor quality and poor service.
