I had Homework Remodels update the kitchen and laundry in my Haver home and I couldn't be happier with how things turned out. It is really a stressful time to have your kitchen torn up for weeks but all the people I interacted with during the remodel were great and provided excellent quality work. I hope my review will steer you away from pursuing business with Handy Connection. We initially reached out to Elizabeth Evans based on many of the reviews seen below, but our family has had a significantly different experience that we wanted to share.

Elizabeth came out to our home for an estimate for some electrical work. She explained to us that she typically prices out the work two ways, one with an hourly rate and another with a per item cost. Her ploy is to list two prices, but you will end up paying the higher price anyway.

They grossly overestimate their ability to perform the work they agreed upon. While a single fan and switch was added to my project, the initial timeframe to complete the work went from 4 hours to 5 separate visits to home. This is due to multiple damages that were created while attempting to complete the project. Between visits she left us with holes in our home both inside and out. Even more concerning is that I had to plead with her to come back between visits to finish the job, but she was reluctant per her own accord based on late-night drinking.

We payed for 2 skilled electricians to perform the work, but Elizabeth Evans showed up with her office secretary who per own admission it was her first time on a job site.

Her attempt to repair the damages that were created were incredibly poor. I had enough of her craftsmanship and did not wish for her to perform any additional work on our home. We asked her to not return.

Subsequently, I received a bill for an amount that was never agreed to. She never provided written change orders for pricing. The predatory billing is incredibly unethical.

I offered to pay the original amount and pay someone else to complete the work that they were incapable of satisfactorily completing. They refused and threatened to place a lien on our home over a difference of a couple hundred dollars. Complaints have been filled with the. BBB and ROC.

Trust me, there are better electricians out there. I urge you to please avoid using Elizabeth Evans, save yourself headaches, time, and endless frustration.

1) I NEVER REQUESTED TO HAVE TWO PRICING OPTIONS, THIS WAS OFFERED TO ME.
2) I ADDED A FAN AND SWITCH --> THIS EQUATED INTO 5 ADDITIONAL VISITS TO COMPLETE THE JOB.
3) WORK THAT WAS ON THE ORIGINAL INVOICE WE ELECTED TO NOT PERFORM (I.E. INSTALLING CAMERAS), YET WE ENDED UP WITH A SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER BILL TO ADD A SINGLE FAN AND SWTICH.
4) THE ADDITIONAL PRICING WAS NEVER DISCUSSED.
5) I NEVER THREATENED TO BLAST YOU, NOT SURE WHAT THAT EVEN MEANS. I DO WANT TO WARN PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS.
6) I'VE OFFERED TO PAY THE ORIGINAL INVOICE FOR THE WORK PLUS THE FAN, NOT YOUR BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING WITH 2X THE LABOR COSTS. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OTHER COMPANY'S ESTIMATES, JUST YOUR OWN.

Dreams do come true! My wife and I bought our house in north Phoenix almost 2 years ago and have wanted to replace the original 1994 kitchen ever since. After talking with a few contractors, we met with Bobby of Atelier 507 and immediately had a positive feeling about what could be accomplished. He came back quickly with a presentation that clearly fulfilled my vision for our new kitchen, and his cost estimate was right where we wanted to be. Our new kitchen included all new cabinetry, granite countertop, tile backsplash, a custom island 3x the size of the old one, plumbing and installation of lots of new lighting. I could go on and on about what a great job his crew did, but what impressed me the most was Bobby’s constant follow-up and communication. He also had wise input regarding some of my initial ideas, and I’m glad I took his advice. We finally have our dream kitchen, and now that it’s complete, are delighted that we can highly recommend Atelier 507 for your home remodeling needs. They do both large and small projects, and even though our kitchen was one of his smaller projects, Bobby always made us feel like we were his most important customer. Atelier 507 delivered on every promise on time and on budget.

D&D construction is the best General Contractor we have ever worked with in two states and five houses over the last fifty years. Derek and his Aqua Therapy Tubs team of veterans replaced our dated bathtub with a handicap-accessible walk-in shower. He designed it to suit my husband's large size. After the job began we decided to extend the shower another 6 inches and Derek's team handled the change with grace and enthusiasm. The workmanship is superior and the bathroom is not only safe, but also gorgeous. The crews were on time, careful, courteous, and respectful of my privacy and belongings. Derek's design is beautiful and functional. He is knowledgeable and a great resource person. He sourced everything we needed and did it all within our budget. I live in the N. Phoenix area and had a friend refer me to RMS and Ron Medicinio for an extensive remodel to my home ( 2 bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, painting, and wall removal). It was one of the best referrals and phone calls I have ever made! Ron and his crew were excellent and their pride in their work showed. I lived in my home during the remodel and when I came home every evening, the house was tidy and livable. I would highly recommend RMS and Ron for any home remodelling needs you might have; they are simply the BEST!

I work with Hunter as his bookkeeper and I can tell you that he is very thorough and responsive to his requests from me. I believe that carries over into his work as well. I've seen pictures of his work and it is impressive. If I lived in Arizona, I would want him to remodel my bathrooms.

Called Handyman Connection and Patrick came out and was very friendly and no nonsense, and got me an estimate by the end of the day. He fixed it the following week and did an amazing job! Thanks Patrick!

Have lived in north central for the past 20 years, I had heard about the steller reputation of Kirk Development. Had a kitchen and master bath remodel from Kirk and we couldn't be more happy. The entire process went very smoothly. They came up with innovative designs at a very fair and reasonable price. The workers were very respectful and took extreme care to keep things neat, clean and orderly.
With mom visititing often, Kirk also outfitted the home with senior citizen upgrades with wider doorways etc. Was impressed the Kirk was one of the few contractors in the area who was specifically certified in these senior upgrades.

From start to finish, working with Scott and Lorrie was a 5 star experience. After an exhaustive search, we chose Hochuli Design & Remodeling because of their professionalism, attention to detail, expert level craftsmanship, and beautiful design aesthetics. We also didn't want to go with a cheap option that we knew we would regret later. We wanted experts because this is the home we plan to stay in forever. So, with high expectations and an abundance of trust, we left our home for 8 weeks (exactly what they estimated) and came back sight unseen, to view the finished product. Of course they kept us up to date on a weekly, if not daily basis, with photos and conversations with the Sean, the project manager. To say we were blown away with the results is an understatement! I still can't believe I live in such a beautiful house and have Scott and Lorrie to thank. It was worth every penny.
