Recently, we had our master bathroom torn down to the studs and totally remodeled by Homework Remodels. We met initially with the owner of the company Steve Shinn and his designer Sheila Lanier. We were so impressed by their presentation, that we did not bother to obtain any additional quotes.
Sheila, in addition to being quite personable, is an extremely talented designer and decorator with a great eye for color and composition. We accompanied her on many trips to select tiles, granite, bathroom fixtures, lighting, etc.
The subcontractors used by Homework Remodels were all excellent in their craft. The job foremen, Aaron and Lee oversaw our project with the utmost care. During part of the renovation, we had to be out of town but we were comfortable entrusting our home to these men during our absence.
During renovations, we also decided to have the company do a partial revision of our main guest bathroom. Although our initial budget was far exceeded, we believe the final product was well worth the cost.
We can highly recommend Homework Remodels to anyone seeking quality renovations of their home.

Kitchen Renovation Project - Communication was the key as we worked through the surprises and challenges that came up as we progressed through the project. Bobby was there on most days especially when he needed to step in and communicate necessary changes to get the job done properly to our satisfaction. There are many moving parts in construction. What you plan to do today may have some challenges on application and scheduled deliveries which can be out of your project manager’s control. Bobby is sure to update you on any issues so that you are not left scratching your head. He is prompt to return phone calls. At the end, I am quite pleased at the outcome of the build. Yes, I recommend working with this company.

I am in love with our new windows and patio door. I could instantly feel the difference in temperature. The crew was very professional, respectful of our home, and tidy up after the work. Excellent service ???? l will refer to family and friends.

Pro: Salesman was friendly and knowledgeable.Con: He failed to include the price of the “window kit” in the contract. An additional check was written for that kit.Con: It took for months for the original check to be withdrawn from my account. The second check has yet to show up in my account. Finally, after contacting Costco, Jacuzzi was paid via credit card and the amount of the second missing check was deducted from the total amount.Con: Although the contract says that the Costco rebate will be received in 4-6 weeks, it has been 11 weeks and we have yet to receive the rebate. Jacuzzi customer service says, “…we tell people 6-9 weeks…”Pro: After 5 months, and putting the payment on a credit card, the Costco rebate was received.Con: Cleanup was atrocious. Debris, dust, caulk, water spots etc. had to be removed from the floor. Caulk, sawdust and debris had to be swept/removed from the driveway and the street.Con: Wires to an outlet were cut during the demolition. I had to provide parts and tools in order for power to be restored to the bathroom.Pro: Per the above, Jacuzzi, at my request, was quick to send out a certified electrician to check the repairCon: The window kit was poorly installed and had to be redone.Con: The shelves were visibly crooked and had to be redone.Con: A ¾” gap was left between the floor and the shower base and filled with caulk and had to be addressed.Pro: All of the above installation issues were addressed and quickly resolved by the construction/installation customer service.Pro: The final product looks niceFinal recommendations:Con: I DO NOT RECOMMEND Jacuzzi Bath and Remodel

I would recommend Offcut Interiors to anyone in need of a kitchen, bathroom, or whole home remodel. I have not personally used this company, but have worked personally with Hunter many times. Hunter gets my utmost respect as he is always professional, extremely knowledgable about all things remodeling, and sticks to his word. The way he has built his team, and his business to focus on his clients is a revolutionary way of doing things in the contractor field; and one every home remodeling company should be focusing on. I have no doubt that it would be a great experience and top quality end result when working with Hunter and Offcut Interiors.
