Best Interior Design Consultation in Phoenix AZ

My wife and I did a lot of research collecting and formulating in advance our goals for our kitchen remodel. Steve Shinn and Aaron Thomas were extremely professional in every phase of the project. Our 1981 semi-custom home in Tempe was not an open floorplan by design. Steve listened and looked at all our research and together we came up with solutions that met our expectations and budget. Steve applied the classic work space triangle concept that is the cornerstone to making our new kitchen chef friendly. He included some extras like the pull out vertical pantry cabinets, deep appliance drawer cabinets and two waist-high spice drawers that are all utilized daily. Soffits were removed to allow full height upper cabinets greatly expanding cabinet capacities.

We wanted the warm look and feel of wood cabinetry. In particular we liked the minimum reveal look associated with modern European style cabinets. Steve did trade-off comparisons for us on locally crafted vs factory cabinets from the east coast. The local source worked out well as some unplanned adjustments were quickly crafted with little delay to the project.

We further challenged Steve with our lighting and power requirements. We have zoned ceiling lighting with small LED can lights as LED's were then becoming reasonably priced. All the appliance power outlets are hidden under the cabinets and under the granite breakfast bar. This solution allowed for a plug free stainless steel continuous backsplash with under cabinet mounted LED lighting.

In summary: Our experience using Homework Remodels was beyond our expectations. They should be high on your list to talk to and see if they can be the solution you have been looking for your remodel.

We had two bathrooms fully remodeled and they look great! I was impressed with communication. We were updated along the way and were always told when someone would be at our house. If we needed a question answered, we always received a quick response. We plan to use Phoenix Home Remodeling for our kitchen as well.

The installers, Saul and Jonathan, did a very good job, to our satisfaction. They were pleasant and easy to work with. If we have the need for additional windows or doors, I hope they are the installers again. The price of the project was reasonable and the financing provided was exactly what I was looking for. The warranty was also very good although I hope you never have to make a warranty claim.

Todd Whittaker Drywall remodeled our kitchen beautifully so when it came time to get out bathtub area tiled I thought of them. Ron LaBrie, who was our designer for our kitchen, stepped up again and did a beautiful bathtub area design with tile and special niches for soaps and hair needs. All of their people from demo to clean up were great. We were totally pleased with the job done.

I recently hired Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel my kitchen and replace tile flooring throughout my home. I am blown away by the quality of work their team provided. Not only were the workers excellent in their respective fields, they were polite, respectful, and wonderful to work with. On top of the quality of work, the team at Holtzman used several virtual tools that made the remodeling process painless. Rob, my design consultant, was able to show me exactly what my new kitchen would look with a 3D design software. Being able to visualize my new space was extremely helpful. I was also able to easily manage my project and schedule through an online portal the team utilizes. I would highly recommend Holtzman Home Improvement to anyone interested in a remodeling project.

Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Good Guys. Good Guys completed a full kitchen, living room, dining room and entertainment room renovation for us last August and September and we are now working with them on plans for master and guest bathroom renovations to be completed this summer. So we are obviously happy with them by trusting them again with our home.
On our initial renovation, we had been through 3 months of a process with different group and it was a nightmare. After moving on from that designer, my wife and I were in need of a group that could regain our confidence in proceeding and within a week of a first meeting with Amber, Shannon and Dean we realized we were in good hands and our vision was back on track. We needed a group that could not only design to our vision but also that could project manage the execution as we were going to be out of the country during the renos. The project management piece and having Dean on site was of huge value to us. Dean kept us posted of progress with pictures and videos through an App. When any issue came up, Dean kept us posted on our options and we always felt he was working on our behalf to make sure we were staying within budget and making the best decision for us, not the company or any sub involved. The job was done on time as promised and on budget. We returned to PHX to a new, clean house ready to live in. Any follow up or warranty work was attended to in short order. We even had a small issue with a new barn door last month that Dean came back and adjusted for us on his way home.
My wife and I are pleased to act as a reference for Good Guys anytime.

We hired Ben from Champion to remodel our newly purchased home. He did a superb job, and was a pleasure to work with. His crew was professional, clean, punctual, and completed the project on schedule. Ben and his crew are true craftsmen, and if your looking for a contractor that doesn't cut any corners and does incredible work you need to hire Ben.

Kitchen countertop project: I put together a general scope of work for my project. Every contractor that bid this was working from the same set of requirements. CustomCreative was the only contractor who both understood and improved the SoW before making their proposal. Their bid was realistic and extremely competitive. Terms were fair. Praveen (owner) also indulged my desire to clarify the final contract with more details. This was a very good sign. Their office is in Scottsdale, my home is in Sun City West....no problem - they're happy to do business with far west metro customers. All of their craftsmen are terrific; skilled and easy to work with. Project communication was top notch and I could not be happier with the final results. The crew worked diligently and completed the 3 bathroom remodels a day early. Very pleased with the new look and craftsmanship quality.

My kitchen cabinets and remodel were done by Affinity in 2009. They still look like new. We are delighted with the excellent craftsmanship. Today, for the first time I had a drawer that I had over filled and I could not get it open. I tried everything. It was an inaccessible interior. I am a pretty capable homeowner but I was really frustrated. I called Marco at Affinity.They had not talked to me for eleven years. Jamie came right over and he freed the drawer in 10 minutes. It is a Friday during Corona virus. I am incredibly grateful. This once again validates our early decision to go with the highest quality custom cabinets we could find for our busy working kitchen! We used Atelier507 to remodel the tiling of our master bathroom shower, add a niche, and update the water fixtures. Throughout the entire process, they were very responsive, provided 3D renderings of what the final look would be and would update the renderings for any detail we want to add/remove/adjust. Atelier507 also provided progress photos during and after the project. They did an excellent job and were very professional. We are very satisfied with the final look of our shower. I highly recommend using them!

This was overall a very unprofessional place to work for. I'm not sure if every branch treats their employees with such disrespect but my experience was overall awful. I had to drive 4 hours there and back and was not reimbursed for gas or offered a place to stay while i was there at all. I found a place to stay in phoenix but i was never told my schedule or when i needed to work and i was expected to just assume i needed to be there. I would text and call the manager asking when i needed to work and i would get no response until the day before i needed to be there. The texts i would receive would always be very late at night and was expected to drop everything and drive 4 hours to get there at 1am to the persons house i was staying at, or wake up at 2:30 AM to get there by 8am. When i told the manager i had to drive that far, he used that as an example for something he didn't give a s*** about in front of the other person i was training with. I called to let him know that i needed to be met half way by either getting reimbursed for gas, given a place to stay, or even just better communication otherwise i didn't think the job was going to work out for me. He never once tried to call me back after that. I'm not sure if i was treated this way because i am a young female and he thought i wasn't capable of doing the job, or if he was just that arrogant. I worked for a different bathroom company since i was about 16 years old and i was never treated with the amount of disrespect that this company gave me.

My wife and I met with Sandra, Bri, and the whole team recently and had an amazing experience!! We’re building a custom home in Scottsdale (our first) and the design process became quite overwhelming until we discovered the magic of the Design Lab. From our first email and phone call I could tell that they were true professionals with a keen eye for our modern farmhouse aesthetic. We set up a 2-hour appointment at the Lab and met with the whole team who carefully and thoughtfully laid out each room all the way down to the cabinets, flooring, lighting, hardware, countertops, and plumbing fixtures. The designs were fresh, unique, and exciting and totally exceeded our high expectations. To be able to check all the boxes at a single location in just a couple hours is incredibly valuable and unusual. We would’ve spent countless hours for each product selection and had “too many cooks in the kitchen” blending their thoughts about style and selections. The design lab provides a one-stop shop with talented designers and an unmatched cohesiveness. Their dedication and communication to finish off the project since the meeting has been impressive especially during this pandemic. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone building or remodeling. You will not be disappointed!!

I seldom post reviews, but my experience with Scott and Lorrie was so good that I had to post this review.

After being locked inside for a year due to the pandemic, we just couldn't stand our house anymore! So we decided to remodel the whole thing. Lorrie worked with us for two weeks coming up with a design that we absolutely loved, and Scott and his team made it our dream with so little fuss or mess, it was unbelievable. They even finished the project sooner than expected. We now love our home again. Thank you!!

I can't say enough about the expert, personal, and skilled service of this team. They really went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied with the end product, including making numerous changes to the original plan, and really working with us as the plan developed. All work was high quality yet keeping to our budget, we used them to remodel our guest casita but want to keep them on for numerous projects on our main home! Excellent work!

Amazing work and professional staff! Dion has a great crew, and the were quick and respectful of my home. I recently had flooring replaced in my home, and I couldn't be happier! We worked with Hunt’s Kitchen and Design to update our cabinets and would highly recommend them. After getting multiple quotes for the project, they stood out from everyone. They were by far the best to work with on creating the design and in all aspects of communication. They were the only designers who really tuned it into a collaborative process, which eliminated the multiple iterations required by the other people we got quotes from. This resulted in us having a final design and price from them in less than half the time with even more attention to our needs and to how we would use our kitchen. Although we don’t have the biggest or most expensive kitchen, Josh and Jeff made us feel like they were genuinely excited about working with us on the project, and you can tell that they really care about their clients.
