Best Custom Outdoor Kitchen in Phoenix AZ

Thanks to Homework Remodels for a great job helping me restore my 1920s home. After the restoration was complete on the original house, they built my addition which included a master suite, a laundry room and a breakfast nook. They are very knowledgeable about historic restoration and they knew how to work with the historic society and the city to get the proper approvals and permits needed to meet the historic preservation requirements. They were a pleasure to work with and the new addition looks like it was part of the original house.

All of the projects that Homework Remodels did for me where top quality, finished on time and in budget. Thanks to Steve and his team for a great job!

I was really impressed by the quality work and speed in which Josè and Andres installed our tub/shower. They communicated the entire time. It looks great and we’ve had zero issues using it. Definitely earned 5 stars and I recommend dreamstyle to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel.

My bathroom remodel budget was going to be less than $10k, they wouldn't even come out and look at it.

I want to caveat this one-star review by saying I am still hoping that Holzman does the right thing and returns our full deposit. When that happens I will gladly increase this rating.

There are a lot of good things about Holtzman and my wife and my experience with them started out very well. We chose Holtzman to remodel our bathroom due to the positive reviews they received on Yelp and Google. We received excellent service from our superintendent and, after choosing a layout and materials, we submitted our deposit so that work could get started. A tentative start date was set about two months out and we were told we’d be contacted soon with more info on the timeframe. A week went by. Then two. Then three. I emailed our superintendent multiple times with no response. I finally tracked down his cell number only to learn that he had quit the company and been told not to contact any of the people he’d been working with. We were concerned about the lack of communication at this point but decided to keep going. Our old superintendent gave us the contact info for someone at Holtzman who would reschedule us and get us a new superintendent. We were rescheduled but we wanted to ask our new superintendent about some details. So we were given his information and we emailed him. No reply. So we called him. No reply. After a month we had not had any communication with this superintendent. Then Holtzman randomly had someone come over to measure for the cabinets, though this had already been done and the guy who was doing it said that “this isn’t really my job”. Finally, we had someone knock on our door at 7am unscheduled and unannounced saying he was there to do the framing. We were all very confused as we still hadn’t spoken to the superintendent and no work had been scheduled. At this point, we lost confidence in the process. We had been left in the dark after the superintendent we liked left. The new one assigned to us was completely non-communicative. And now we had random trades coming over for no reason.

I told Holtzman that we did not want to proceed with them and would like our deposit back. They responded by saying they were going to keep $2,000 of it for salaries and work that had been completed. This confused me to say the least, since all they had done since we put the deposit down was ghost us and send random people to our house. We asked for a breakout of these expenses, which they never provided.

We had every intention of proceeding with Holtzman until the process broke down. We have not received $2,000 of value. No work was done. To the contrary, it has caused considerable wasted time and worry.

I respectfully ask Holtzman to refund our whole deposit so that I can update this review to confirm that you are a fair company who cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you.

TJ and his crew were very helpful after a large storm came through. Lots of other companies (including Ardan) were super backed up with damages to people’s roofs, but Ardan squeezed us in and got the job done! Big thanks!!

Cornerstone Cabinets completely modernized our office kitchen! Before they came in we were in the 1980s, now sets the bar completely to 2020 standards. Our remodel is luxuriously updated and is as elegant as I could ever imagine. I had no idea our space had the potential to look so beautiful, but the quality design, workmanship and attention to the smallest details really shows in the completed project. Chris is fantastic to work with, has wonderful insight and vision, he will point you in the right direction from start to finish. I have 100% faith in Cornerstone to do any and all future remodeling needs for me, my business and my family/friends. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!

We couldn’t be happier with our master bath remodel. It is beautiful! It was such a pleasure working with Praveen and his talented and skilled team. Praveen was respectful of our schedule, attentive to the details of our project and always available, if needed. His friendly team was also respectful of our home and always left the area clean at the end of the day. The quality of both service and workmanship is outstanding! Keith and Serranos are unprofessional and not dependable. He gave me a quote for quartz countertops installation that was higher than other fabricators but I decided to accept it based on positive reviews. He didn't like the idea I wanted to buy slabs from Arista Stones, saying they are not responsible when their materials are defective. When I insisted because I liked the slab, he asked me to change my Sales Rep from the one I worked with to one he preferred. He said that my rep just got fired. As I heard none of these were true. I talked to a new rep, I bought a new sink and a faucet and, took a day off at work and was ready for templating. A day before, Keith just texted me, he was not going to do the project, without providing a reason. Regardless of Serranos response to this review, I would not use them and recommend to stay away.

We contracted Legacy to remodel 3 bathrooms and a powder room located in our home in North Scottsdale. The planning meetings were well organized, details reviewed and double checked prior to the start of the project. They are great to work with.
Derek our project manager did a fabulous job coordinating the subs, communicating with us on a regular basis, providing us with photos of the progress, and was at our job site daily. We had so much confidence in him and Legacy that we provided him access to our home, as we were not in town during the project.
Working with Debra was wonderful! We shopped together at her suppliers and she was dilignet about keeping to our was budget, she has an eye for color, texture, and product coordination and was not willing to settlebut rather continue to make sure we had the right pieces! The end result is just what I wanted and each bathroom has a WOW look.
I highly recommend Legacy and would use them again.

Republic West Remodeling was one of the companies I reached out to for a major home renovation project in 2022. We had to reach out multiple time just to get someone to come out for a quote. When someone finally came out to discuss our project they told us we would have an estimate from them in about a week. Over a month later and multiple follow ups on my end I never received anything from Republic West. Just another construction company without accountability or consideration of potential clients time, energy, and money (pricing for materials and labor is increasing every day with the state of inflation).

In 2019 Trevor Day of Stronghold remodeled our bathroom in Chandler. Wow! He did an amazing job! Check his website photo gallery for pictures of our “Chandler Bathroom” project.
Trevor has extensive knowledge about all phases of construction and has a great eye for layout and design. Our project required gutting the existing space, including jackhammering the shower floor pan, as well as expanding the footprint of our master bathroom. In addition to handling all phases of the construction, Trevor also guided us through selection of cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring and a barnwood accent wall. He pointed us to suppliers throughout the Valley, all he has done business with before. The tile work in the shower and floors is meticulous, and beautiful! Our accent wall gives a warmth that we love and he even installed Bluetooth speakers in our shower celing.
Trevor is talented and professional. He’s very easy to work with and will help you achieve your remodeling dreams as he did with us.

The cabinets in my 1970's bathroom were a mess. The cabinets were dated and the doors would not close. I wanted to update the cabinets without having to remove the existing counters and flooring. My project was small but Better Than New Kitchens delivered! The price was right. The time frames quoted were spot on. My new doors and drawer fronts look great! Thank you!

I worked with Bri who did an excellent job designing my mid-century modern home. She made the process easy for me by not only designing but by coordinating the art, installation, trades, and work to pull off the design. Definitely 5 star work and service.
