Phoenix Home Remodeling did a fantastic job for me. They did all my floors, 2 bathrooms and my kitchen in 5 weeks (one of which I was away on vacation) without going a dollar over the original budget. Ben’s project management skills take all the work off of me. All I had to do was pick things out and he did the rest. Mark did a fantastic job with every detail. His workmanship is exceptional as is the work of their tile team. I couldn’t be happier with the results, the price and the most of all the overall customer experience. We all know how hard it is to find trustworthy contractors in this area because there’s so much demand. I’m glad I found PHR and I will be gladly refer them to anyone that asks. Thanks guys…

I am having this company remodel my bathroom. Right now I have a bathtub and shower combination. I am having that taken out and a walk in shower installed. George is the service representative and designer that came to my home to draw up the plans and quote us a price. He was absolutely fantastic. He listened to our needs of what we wanted and showed us different choices of colors and textures of shower walls. George did everything he could to bring the project within our budget range. He was so knowledgeable of all the materials that will be used on our project. He made sure all our safety issues were met He took his time making sure all of our questions were answered. I will be posting another review once the project has been completed.Well I tried to due a new review but it would not let me so I will just add to this one I already posted. Today Jacuzzi installed my new shower and I am very happyTodd and Matt were my installers and they were both fantastic! .They were both very thorough and made sure the job was done correctly. There were a couple of problems which they addressed and handled on the spot to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with there willingness to make sure I was satisfied . I am very happy with my new shower and can't wait to use it once it is set for the 24 hour period.

We had our contractor grade shower and tub replaced with an open shower and new hardware.It started with a visit by Benjamin Barnes - Design Consultant, he was great. Very friendly, no non sense, and made the visit enjoying. He covered our options and put it all to paper. He covered the payment options and set the start date. He anticipated 2-3 days for the job and it was as stated.We next met with Shane Whitmore - Project Manager, He verified the measurements, and addressed any other concerns we had.Our start date was 3/3/21 when we met Lyle Patterson & William Holt - Installer/s. Both were friendly and professional, they also addressed questions about the remodel. The end result is very nice, and night and day from our old setup.As happy as we are, it did not come without some issues. In our case we wanted a larger shower area, which meant; the relocation of the shower hardware to the opposite end of the room, but also the use of the wider area where the tub once lived. We were assured this was not a problem and doable. It was not an issue of being mislead, but more an issue of making the customer happy. I get people can be hard to deal with, but we are the type of people who can handle No when appropriate. We want the job to be done right, and be design correct so as to increase the resale value of the home. We are not designers, nor are we plumbers, contractors etc.The issue was moving the plumbing, and widening the shower area. I cannot expect a design consultant to know what is in a wall, but would hope a project manager would have more in depth knowledge. When the installers arrived there was confusion with both our primary requests. Lyle plainly said, The plumbing cannot be moved easily due to load bearing walls and the slab did not extend far enough to support the shower pan due to a false pop out in the wall. It made perfect sense, but that left us leaving the shower basically the same and not seeing the gains we wanted. Lyle was understanding and confused as well, and helped us come to a resolution.What I had issue with was the fact that in step #1 or #2 a simple stud finder would have shown the load bearing walls, and also identify theunsupported pop out area. In my mind it does little good to tell the customer 'What ever you want, when whatever is seldom realistic.In the end, we have a new shower and drying area we can live with. Was it what we had wanted or envisioned? No. I think this situation can be avoided in the future through training and attention to detail. The design people should assess the project area in 360 detail so any questions can be addressed by a project manager. The project managers should actively work the remodel in their head to identify any possible issues that could change the scope of the job. If needed, use the many tools available to probe walls, voids, pop outs etc. This is the point in which needed changes or modifications should be addressed not in the future when the installer shows up.The products are very good quality and the installation was professional.My intent is not to be hypercritical, but rather to be clear as to what transpired, and offer comment on how I think it can be done better for the next customer.AZLB20-2208

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

Although there were a few supply issues, even they the guys managed to complete the task within the given time, they were very professional and educated. Keep up the excellent work.

We contracted with Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel the shower and water closet area of our master bathroom. The folks we worked with from Johny in sales to Grace in design were great to work with. Grace managed to avoid having to do any marriage counseling while my wife and I worked through the design and materials selection process. Will, the project manager for our project, did an outstanding job., he was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to my phone or text messages, took the time to explain things to me patiently when I had questions, and kept me informed about schedules. The folks who did the work; framing, plumbing, electrical, and tiling were professional and did quality work. They invariably completed their work ahead of schedule. My only complaint would be with how long the project took from signing the contract to completing the work but all in all an excellent outfit to work with..

They installed a barn door and added framework to allow the door to hang. Very happy with the results and we’re fantastic to work with!

We hired Maxum based on the relationship we developed with the designers Jerry & Brian who were very caring, professional and followed thru with all their commitments. We then waited several months for the work to start. We were told they wanted to wait to start until they had all the materials so there wouldn't be any delays once they started. Unfortunately that isn't what happened. They had some really bad subcontractors doing work on our house that were constantly making mistakes like taking out lighting that wasn't being replaced (even after we told them so), installing the wrong tile even after going over all the tile and instructions, building unlevel walls, etc. There was very little supervision of these idiots and when we complained to Maxum, we kept being told what great work they've done on other jobs. After several weeks of this, they finally acknowledged the bad work being done and brought in new guys that did know what they were doing but they didn't get very far since they ran out of tile replacing all the bad work that we had to wait 2 more weeks for them to get replacement tile.
The communication has been awful, they don't contact me until after repeated calls/ texts to them. We're never told in advance what's being done when, how long things are going to take, when we're getting our house back. It's been a very frustrating experience! I hope we will be happy with the results when/ if they finally get done. I don't know how they have managed to stay in business 20 years of they is how they operate. I don't recommend them at all.

I currently work for Ben and finally found an employer that isn’t afraid or to good to bust his butt day in day out on the whole project with his employees! He is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and extremely accurate in all of his projects. He is the definition of a caring boss and professional businessman!... Can’t wait to see how many more families dream homes we make come to life!

Kevin and the tile guy were amazing to work with. Gave 4 starts instead of 5 due to flooring, printing, and vanity issues. Kevin was quick to help with those issues and took care of other people’s mistakes.

Very poor service! They promise the job will be great but when the technician arrived he spent more time outside talking to a man who pulled up next to my driveway than he spent doing the job. After he finished the application he showed me what he had done. I pointed out all these imperfections. He said he would come back but I had to call the company to find out what was going on. I was told the technician randomly came by one day but I wasn't home so the matter was resolved. I provided the office lady Colleen with photos and she claimed the job could not be perfect like a new tub. I said these imperfections need to be fixed. She sent her technician out and he removed the coating and said goodbye. Colleen called and said they didn't think I'd be happy with their application so this was the end of the project. I was told I would receive a refund. I'm still waiting for a refund. I hired another company and they agreed the job done was not done right. The tub should have been stripped first(it wasn't). Still waiting for a refund. I found there is no history of this conpany on BBB and they see not listed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors so I would avoid them!

Colleen blames the customer but she totally ignores the photos showing bubbling and puckering of the acrylic material in all the other areas. Her tech Tomas told me the tub would be ready to use in 24 hours. A tile guy came out 72 hour later and gently taped off the wall from the tub using painters tape. Where the acrylic was bubbled the worst it peeled. I showed these photos and explain what happened to another company in town and they said that it should never peel off with painters tape after three days of drying, and they also agreed with me that the bubbling and puckering is abnormal and that is not a good job, and it shows that the material applied was not adhering properly and that is definitely a company problem not mine And despite saying that I have received a refund, I have not received a refund. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as the ROC.

We went in on Friday 7/10 to look at quartz counter tops and back splash. Both employees were very nice and helpful. We were asked to send our kitchen dimensions and pictures so they can give us an estimate. They would be able to send an estimate by the end of the following week . We went home and sent them immediately. We waited until Friday afternoon 7/17 and finally called them. We were told the designer hasn't looked at them yet and will be in later. It is now Tuesday 7/21 and we still have not heard back. Lack of communication or maybe our job is too small?

Danny is a meticulous and precise worker. He pays very close attention to detail and will make your home project look amazing. He is fabulous at his craft and has a good eye for layout and design. Thanks to Superior Home Remodeling we have the kitchen of our dreams and couldn't be happier!

Graco Home Remodeling was great from start to finish! Ignacio Carrion is very professional and has amazing customer service. The Graco team is always flexible, available, and punctual to get the work done around my busy schedule. I loved that they provided photos of the damage on my roof when quoting the work that needed to be done. The cost was very fair and competitive (nothing was overpriced). I am so happy with the work they did and recommend them to everyone.

I ordered my counter tops from AZ Granite for a house we remodeled. They provided all countertops for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Excellent service, very professional and most importantly installed in a timely manner. The counters came out beautifully! I will definitely use them for our next project.
