As a small time landlord I prefer working with trades that have a good reputation and are recommended. That's how I found Mikku & Sons. They have provided prompt and complete services when I've called on them for my rental needs.

We recently sold our primary residence and there were a few small repairs needed on our tile roof. I called Joshua and I soon had a quote and a time frame. Even though Phoenix had experience the wettest July on record (they were swamped) they were able to fit my small job into their schedule. They got the work done within the escrow time frame and smoothed the process for everyone on our end.

Brandon was courteous, punctual and knowledgeable about roofing. He was one of several bids I acquired to do a complete underlay replacement for a tile roof. The crew that came out was extremely competent, and worked well together. So much so, that many of our neighbors commented to me about the excellent job being done on our roof. Cleaned up every day, and even had a major night of rain during their work that they were thoroughly prepared for. They definitely achieved a five star result. Since this is a project where most of the cost is labor, I really appreciated that I was quoted only with premium materials, and options to upgrade from there. All of the other bids I received were using low cost products, and I had to ask for upgrades to get up to the product Brandon proposed as the baseline. Seems kind of silly to spend a lot of money and then use inferior products.

SunShield Roofing repaired and replaced a rotted/leaking section of my flat foam roof along with a complete elastomeric roof recoating. In addition they had also replaced some broken Mexican sanstone tile with concrete on another section of my roof. I'm a knowledgable handyman and a bit of a perfectionist, so when I reviewed the completed job, I was truly impressed with their work and attention to detail overall. i had Jimmy from circle g work on my flat roof. they did foam over my garage area and did repairs and sealed the rest of the roof. we have had issues with the roof over the last three years. they come out and work on it without question. i recently needed a description of what they did on the last visit in writing. they refused to do this because it was considered out of warranty. i don't understand why it would be a problem to put free repair but out of warranty with a description of what they did. this seems a bit shady. guess i will never know.

Prosource was a non-optional selection by my realtor to provide a roof inspection. The service was performed quickly, but they were unwilling to receive any payment besides Credit Card, for which they tacked on an additional 4% fee. They gave me an option of mailing in a check, but they were unwilling to certify the work was done for the bank inspector until they had received it and the check had cleared. They knew I was on a timeline, so there were no options besides paying. The fee for processing credit cards is expected, but it is 1.25%-1.5% above what other vendors charge, and with no alternative payment to get around the fee?

You can tell that customer service and satisfaction isn't really a priority here.
