I got a quote from Legacy Electric to run 240V from main panel, along one wall, and run 3 separate 240V circuits in my garage. They came in more than 2.5x the next highest quote I received from local reputable electricians also found via google maps. It also seemed like their way of doing things was quite out of the norm. They insisted on using copper wire instead of aluminum, when nearly every long run these days is done with aluminum. In addition, instead of a subpanel approach, which is quite obviously the most efficient method when trying to get 3 240A outlets in a garage, they wanted to run 3 separate runs from my main panel. Note that every one of the other electricians I've spoken too recommended going with a subpanel.

It looks like many other people had good experiences. So it really may just have been the folks I spoke to. But I didn't have a stellar experience, not to mention their pricing being absolutely nuts.

We called ElectriCall with a very last minute request, as we were leaving for 12 days the following day, and needed services immediately. ElectriCall responded quickly and moved some things around just so they could help us out that day. They diagnosed the issue then came back later in the evening to fix our issue. Wonderful customer service! Would definitely recommend for any electrical service needs.

Cost me 200 dollars to have a switch replaced. My fault for not asking about their pricing before they came out. Took less than 10 minutes. Their minimum service charge is a lot more than other places. A friend of mine recommended them and I figured he wouldnt recommend a place that would rip me off. I was wrong. Called another company (after the fact unfortunately) and their basic service trip charge is 90 dollars. The standard is 90-100 and these crooks charge twice that. Use at your own risk.

Kris did all the electrical for a basement finish with canned lighting, two way switches, electrical outlets; and replaced all my smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in a 30 yr old house with cathedral ceilings. He did a beautiful job. Kris was always prompt, professional, and is extremely competent in his profession. He also installed security lighting on my front and back porches. Kris continues to be available for me when minor problems arise - like recently an electrical outlet for my sprinkler control panel became faulty. He was able to replace it the day I called him! It’s nice to know I can count on him when I get in a jam. I highly recommend Full Contact Electric!!!

My project was twice the estimate and I was not informed of this until I received a bill. There was no communication about the project, they did just what they wanted and billed me later. And this finished product looks terrible.

The work I needed done was a new sub panel for my residence, I talked with Jimmie and he was very professional and was able to schedule an electrician to come out to the house within just a few days. The electrician was Tyler (who was absolutely great!) arrived slightly ahead of the scheduled time, was able to give me a very good quote for the work and was also able to start and complete the work the same day! All work was done quickly and in a very professional manner. I would HIGHLY recommend the Electric Doctor, very good and great people to work with!

I cannot recommend Uli, Marshall, Jason, Johan and the whole team at Top Shelf enough.

I initially got in touch with Top Shelf because a different company had broken my water heater during a routine intake outtake pipe repair. The company claimed I needed a new heater entirely. Marshall came over and was very responsive to my questions, said that they might be right and I would need a new water heater, but that he'd look into it. After a half an hour or so he had the issue fixed: the previous company had installed a one way valve on the pipe going the wrong direction and so he just took that out and, viola, fixed.

I liked so much of how Marshall worked, I have just completed an HVAC installation with another of Top Shelf's technicians: Jason and his brother Johan. Despite having some setbacks with getting the metal ducting into our basement that weren't his fault, Jason stayed at our house until 8:30pm to make sure we had heat that night. Johan helped with all things electrical and I gather came over to help things done in a speedy matter given the install was done during a snowstorm. Both were extremely professional and easy to talk to. We're now sitting comfortably with a new HVAC and humidifier.

I plan on using Top Shelf anytime I need the services they offer - I'm already planning new electrical work with them here shortly. I encourage you to contact them - you won't be disappointed.
