We had an issue with our ceiling fan and were turned onto AES via our home warranty. Steve came out once to diagnose the problem and then again to install a new fan. Steve was professional, kind, and very helpful. We've learned over the years dealing with Home Warranties are never easy, and Steve and his support team were very helpful in getting us a replacement and getting on their schedule ASAP. Wire Nut was very quick on the repair and good but as they build their bills by job types they are 4-5 times as expensive any other electrician. Advice is to find an electrician that bills an hourly.

We bought a house that needed a lot of work, so Chris and his crew were here for quite awhile. They replaced the panel, re-wired and grounded the entire house, changed every light fixture, installed smoke detectors, and added outlets where they needed to be up to code. Chris and Carlos did most of the work (and were fantastic), but everyone who came over did a great job. We had several contractors involved in this project, and Slade Energy was the ONLY one who didn't go way over the quoted price, ignore the schedule, or cause damage to other parts of the house. What I appreciated most was that Chris always kept me in the loop about the project. If they needed to re-schedule to wait for someone else to finish, he told me. If there was going to be an additional cost (usually because I added something), he told me. I've learned enough about contractors in the past few months to realize that's very rarely the case. When we were finally able to move and needed relatively minor electrical work done on our old home, I didn't even bother calling around for quotes. I didn't hesitate to hire Chris again and I would definitely recommend Slade Energy for any project, big or small.

Dutch Creek is solid. They are honest and respectful, and don't use scare tactics or try to upsell you on rewiring your whole house for a small change. One estimate I was quoted was x4 what Dutch charged. They helped me understand the pros and cons of my project in addition to providing quality work. Would definitely recommend.

Yesterday we had a 5-Star Experience with Chad from Evergreen Mountain Electric. It can be hard to find contractors who will call you back. Chad was communicative, on time, and he did an excellent job installing a bathroom vanity light for us. He worked with precision and cleaned up after himself. When he left, the area was spotless. His prices were really fair. He even stuck around and did some extra small projects that he was not originally scheduled for. He took the time to do the job right. And he was just a super nice guy. I highly recommend Evergreen Mountain Electric.
