Mikey and April were an A+ team. They added a 2-gang duplex above our fireplace for our tv and accessories and added an outlet in the hallway for us. In the basement, they fixed the grounding for our gas main. They noticed this was completely incorrectly and recommended we fix it.Mikey answered all our questions, and encouraged us to ask more. He was patient and incredibly thorough while executing our projects. He knocked out our priorities and left us with quotes and recommendations for the other electrical projects in our home.April provided excellent service with the biggest smile on her face. Her pleasant personality was refreshing.Both Mikey and April gave us confidence and comfort knowing our projects were being complete professionally and safely. DIY basement renovation except for electric, which I don't DIY. :-) Got a quote from Mr. Electric and it was $5K for basic tasks (run electric lines to new lights, receptacles and switches, correct some code-related issues with previous owners' janky/dangerous wiring, install a whole-house surge protector, etc.). Lo and behold, we discover our estimator from Mr. Electric was on commission -- so it was no surprise when Jason from Big City came out and quoted us the work that we actually needed to have done at half the price. All the recommendations Jason made for our project were spot-on -- he could have gouged and up-sold us, but he helped us achieve our vision for the least amount of cost possible. That's the mark of a true professional, and what seals the deal for us as customers. From general manager Jason to owner David to our crew who did the work (Dave and Anthony), we experienced the kind of world-class treatment we would expect from a locally-owned business that takes integrity seriously. The quality of the work was superb. Dave and Anthony are professionals through and through, and they treated our home as though it were their own. They patiently explained to us what they were doing and why. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We'll never use another electric company -- we're Big City customers for life. We first used Arlington Electric for an emergency call- Bob was able to fit us into his schedule same day. He then later assisted with repairing and replacing several electrical issues resulting from having a 1960’s home. Bob was super responsive, came as scheduled, took time to explain options and the repairs he was making, and stayed at the price he quoted. Would definitely recommend!

RAPID RESPONSE and quickly found/fixed the issue I had with two bedrooms loosing outlet power after an AEP outage today. I called around 12 by 3 the problem was fixed! Very pleasant gentleman who took my call and even tried to help me do a quick fix check over the phone before dispatching the crew out. The crew came and found the problem/fixed.
ALL of this again in under THREE HOURS. That is service! THANKS!

I understand this is a company and they have money to make also, but I gave 1 star because of the situation. First they charge $125.00 to come out and also stated there will not be any other charges unless they run into a electrical problem. The man found no problems and didn't have to fix anything, he did put two motion lights on my house and charged me $135.00 I feel like I got robbed by this company.

I had to get my main panel replaced along with all the conduit on the exterior of the house replaced. I had reached out to several electricians and the Converse Electric tech who came out was so helpful in answering questions. They ended up being slightly more than the lowest quote but that was with an upgraded amp. Everyone was amazing to work with and super professional. I will definitely recommend them and be using them again.

One of their decal laden pickups tried to run me off the road today. Admittedly, I'm still a little heated, but using the company car to push around smaller vehicles doesn't seem like a good business model. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and there is no need to involve police. However it feels like safety should be a bigger concern for those who work with electricity.

Our parking lot was totally dark
So I called Roberts on Monday morning —- they sent out a service technician that afternoon ( who does that any more???)
And the job was completed the very next day — basically , within 24hours!!! You just don’t find efficiency and excellent service like this very often!
Why torture yourself and get aggravated —- just call Roberts
And deal with “professionals ”!

I am amazed at the quality and efficiency of electrical service. Undoubtedly, this company brings professionalism and satisfaction to its customers. I highly recommend them and will call them for any other future electrical needs.

Called Ken for an estimate & he came out 2 days later & then gave me the estimate 3 days later. Scheduled the job for @ 3.5 weeks later. All good to this point.
The night before the job Ken called to ask if we can move the appointment as he didn't finish a job that day. No problem - scheduled it for 1 week later. Ken then No-showed for the job. Called him numerous times that day to find out if he was still coming or if there was an issue. None of my calls were answered & none were returned.
Wasted 5 weeks when I could have found someone else to do the job that they claimed they could do. Now I have to start over.

After getting an initial diagnosis from a different company and an estimate of $7300-$8400 (with a veteran discount), we called Romanoff to get a second opinion. We really didn’t want a full replacement unless it was needed because we’re looking to move in a year or so (which I explained to the other company multiple times). John from Romanoff came out and got things working in 20 minutes. He’s ordering the other parts and will be back out to complete the job. John even told me that some parts didn’t really need to be replaced, but if I chose to have some new components he would order those too.

The other company left us without AC the past few days to pressure the sale of an entire system, and even wanted me to replace my inside heat/air handler system that is only three years old.

If you want results instead of pressure sales, call Romanoff first.
