Best Electrical Design Services in Columbus OH

I am finishing my basement and have passed my rough electric inspection with the city of Westerville. I suspected I might need to add a side-panel because my service panel was full of wires even though I still had a few open breaker slots available. I am not an electrician so I figured I should bring in a professional. I called three electrical contractors. Safe Electrical was the only on to answer their phones. I explained the work I wanted a quote on and an appointment was set for today. Technician Bob arrived as promised on time. He checked our service panel and showed that we did not need a sub panel. I asked him to add ( 4)af/gf circuit breakers. He needed to pick up a couple, left to get them, returned and completed the work all within 3 hours. He also added a neutral/ ground bus bar and Re-organized some of my ground and neutral wires so that the inspector would have an easier time checking the panel work. He took the time to give me some pointers on finishing my wiring for my final inspection. I am very happy with Safe Electric and their employee Bob and would not hesitate recommending then or using them again.

We recently purchased a house and have experienced electrical issues since we moved in. I found Quality Electric online and scheduled a service appointment. Charlie, the electrician who came to my home, did a fantastic job. He was so professional and thorough and checked out our entire electrical system. He found a few small issues that were easily fixed. He also found that our ground fault line was not connected properly by the previous home-owner, and he fixed the problem at no charge. The entire experience, from scheduling through the Quality Electric office, to the service appointment, was great. I highly recommend this company! We had Big City Electric install two wall light fixtures by our garage (including wiring) and Bryan and Charles did a great job. They arrived early, were professional and it only took them an hour and a half. They cleaned up afterwards and took all of the trash with them. The total cost was very good and reasonable. We are new home owners and I plan to have more light fixtures inside the home replaced in the future and will definitely call Big City Electric again. Customer service from Jason was great when I was getting a quote and asking questions.

Excellent service and price

When the power went out, we expected the generator to come on—but it didn’t. I was panicked, we are old people who cannot tolerate temperature extremes due to medical issues. When we called Countryside Electric, even though all the service techs were out on other calls, I could tell that Brittany, the office manager, truly cared and wanted to help. You know what I mean—with some businesses, you can tell it’s just business. But she really cared that someone was panicked and needed immediate help. The first thing she did was try to talk my husband through the process on the phone, and while he was able to go outside and get the generator running, we discovered a few minutes later that power had not transferred to the house—so I called back a second time.

Brittany contacted a technician (I later found out he is her husband) who by luck was nearby, and he was at our house in less than a half hour. I understand that we were lucky—but had she not cared, she wouldn’t have gone to the trouble to see if anyone was in our neighborhood, and just put us on the list instead. Kyle, the technician, quickly located the problem, and got it running properly. We were told we’d need to switch the house back to the regular electrical supply manually when the power came back on.

Around eleven o’clock at night, it occurred to me that the power might come on after we went to bed, and I didn’t know what would happen if we didn’t know until morning. Could it damage the generator, hurt our circuitry, start a fire? I was ready to stay up all night to make sure we were awake to handle the transfer when the power came back on. So I called Countryside Electric, to find out if it was safe to go to bed, and as late as it was, I got a call back from Kyle in less than ten minutes—amazing! I found out later that he’d been up since four in the morning, and still had service calls to finish! But he took time to reassure us that nothing bad would happen if we went to bed. I was REALLY impressed that he took the time to call us, considering how hectic his day had to have been. He came back a few days later and determined that for some reason unusual conditions had prevented the transfer switch from working as it should, but showed my husband what to do in the unlikely event that it ever happened again. Apparently the electricity had blinked off and then on so many times that the mechanism was confused about whether or not our electrical supply was crying wolf, and it had concluded it was a false alarm. At the same time we discovered that our sump pump was not wired into the control panel, so Kyle will be coming back to fix that for us.

Kyle and Brittany went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a company in an emergency, and I can’t express how grateful I am not to have had to evacuate my home. Thanks to their diligence, we were only without power for about an hour! I also would like to add that they serviced my generator the past few times, and their pricing is very competitive. I couldn’t be happier.

Our parking lot was totally dark
So I called Roberts on Monday morning —- they sent out a service technician that afternoon ( who does that any more???)
And the job was completed the very next day — basically , within 24hours!!! You just don’t find efficiency and excellent service like this very often!
Why torture yourself and get aggravated —- just call Roberts
And deal with “professionals ”!

Horrible attitude. I was told they had no interest in doing business with me after they stood us up twice for an estimate.

OH Lic# 25186 an elderly agent driving this van had parked in front of my truck at 700 am. The customer indicated which door I needed to dock, so I started to get the tail lined up. Another agent was parked directly in front, preventing me from pulling forward. I politely approached him and asked if he could move his vehicle for a moment so I could open the doors to the trailer. The guy in 25186 cut my sentence short and began arguing with me. He then proceeded to insult and belittle me for how I choose to operate my truck. I've been driving for 10 months. I don't do anything unless there's a good reason. I have enough to deal with while I'm on the road. A poor demonstration of professionalism on his part.

I contacted Lawson Surge Electric to get a quote on a wiring issue in my home. I had a quote from another. Company that seemed extremely high. Turns out the other company was charging me for more than I needed and was almost 3 times higher than what Lawson surge electric was charging.. Mr. Lawson was so professional, knowledgable and helpful. I was so pleased with his work that I'm will be using his services for some other electric work I need.

If I could give 0 stars maybe even negative stars I would. They were the electricians wiring our new house under construction. They are holding up the process. The Owner of this business NEVER returns calls for 6-8 weeks They have been contacted to finish the job at our house. There are 3 outlets they forgot to install. When our builder calls them they say we will send someone tomorrow. Then NO ONE shows. My husband has called but phone calls are not returned this has been Going on for 8 weeks. If you want someone responsible reliable & truthful then this is not the company to use.
