Although I only required an estimate to upgrade my panel for budgeting purposes, the technician that Mr Sparky sent over was truly the right guy for the job.Not only was Technician (Torres) punctual, after I explained what I was requesting, he gave a thorough inspection, wrote up a complete estimate and described in detail how they performed their services.His experience was evident.His attention to detail will be the reason for a call back.

I hired livewire electrical to install a hot tub. They walked us though the process from permitting to completion. I'm very happy with their prices and quality of work. We will use them again and recommend.

I had previously been told by 2 electricians that the work that I needed done was impossible to do. Todd heard my problem and immediately assured me that he could do it. He arrived on time and fixed my electrical issue without hesitation. I was able to place all of my electronics and appliances exactly where I wanted them. We called Bates for some work, after another electrician stopped showing up for the job. Pete was great very responsive, professional and took his time to a great job on our under cabinet lighting and other little electrical issues in our house. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Bates in the future.

Jay was great! Knew exactly what needed to be done, efficient and professional. I enjoyed chatting with him about other things than the work he was doing as well. A pleasure to have in my home. Contacted them cause we kept tripping a break while moving wires to install a fan. Turns out it was a safety code thing and question answered right out the gate.

Roman our tech volunteered to install the fan for us while there since already paying for the rest of the 55 minutes in the hour. Also installed the second for us. Good clean work and helpful willingness to do work not listed in the original call, and not say OK I answered your question. That'll be $95, bye.

There are not enough words to describe how pleased I was with Jabril and his Co. I was selling my home and under contract, but a point of contingency came up with the power lines out back that had to be addressed. After calling around (ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND, MIND YOU) He was the only contractor that took my needs seriously, and understood the severity of the situation at hand. He completed the work well within the time frame needed, and was in constant contact throughout the entire process. He even called Duke Energy for me to have the lines reconnected after installing the riser...Who does that? Very reasonable and very reliable. I will never use anyone else for my electrical needs moving forward. Thanks, Jabril for going above and beyond!

Had an issue where a section of the house was without power. After tripping the breaker and a few other things I seek more qualified electrical help. Good thing I did. This annoyance require a trip in to the attic and crawlspace to find the failure. Tony was absolutely awesome and he wasn't satisfied until he found what was the failure point. I will most definitely be using him again if further work is needed.

Going to get a hold house generator,so when the power is out, we will not be.

Highly recommend Zapp Electric! We quoted three different electricians for some upgrades in our home. I had a feeling that one of them may have been trying to gouge us, so I sent their quote to Zapp. Zach from Zapp explained everything to us in a way we could understand without putting the other company down. We decided to go with Zapp after having them recommended by someone else. They installed a whole new inside panel and some new outlets. We also had some issues since our house was built in 1959, and they worked extra heard to troubleshoot them for us. If you're looking for a fair, hard-working, and responsible electrician, look no further.

Updated on 5/25/22: Zapp installed an outdoor outlet in advance of our tankless water heater installation. Last night, the plumber got the water heater installed, but the outlet didn't have power. This was discovered around 8pm. I called Zach from Zapp to let him know, and he said he would be at our house in about 30 minutes since he was in Cherryville. Next thing I know, his counterpart Eric pulls up in our driveway. This was about 5 minutes after my phone call to Zach! Eric diagnosed the issue, it turned out to be a faulty ground fault outlet. He had it fixed in about 10 minutes. So from the time I called Zach to having the issue corrected was less than 30 minutes!

Called for them to reinstall a light that had fallen and they said someone would call me back. I waited 2 days for a call and didn’t receive one. I called back and they said since I didn’t receive a call back they must be too busy to help me out and I should call some where else to get help. Awesome business practice there!
