I would recommend Laurence Kolb to anyone interested in having a perfect lighting/electrical experience. I found Laurence online and contacted him. We arranged a time when he could look over the lights I wanted to install. He was prompt and courteous. After choosing the fixtures I wanted, we found they wouldn't work for the situation I had with an older house/electrical, so we texted and spoke several times to make sure I could find what would work. I love my lights, but the best part was Laurence's straight forward explanations of what would work and why. No corners cut; expert. patient advice and counsel. I will request his help again when I'm ready for the next project.

Its actually been quite a while since we asked Emerald to do some work on our house, but I just realized that I never provided them with a much deserved 5 star review. The work was pretty standard (installing new lighting, switching old fixtures in recessed lighting, installing a fan and an outdoor fixture), but due to the way our house had previously been wired, the job was a little bigger than it should have been. Regardless, the team was efficient, incredibly professional, and was able to complete all parts of the job at a fair price. Also, I have to say that this team was also made up of genuinely kind, good people. Without going into details, we had a totally unrelated problem come up around the house, and the Emerald team (we had three at the house, I think) all jumped in to help without a bit of hesitation, offering support and hands on assistance (while still wrapping up the job on time). So if you want good quality electric work done be really great people, go with them.

Lee was great to work with, he was able to come address my short term rental property’s power outage right away and at a reasonable price. He is also available to do emergency call which is useful to know. Would recommend!

I was looking for an electrician to come out on a Sunday afternoon, and I couldn't get anyone until Rich returned my call. I explained the problem, and through his good faith and true professionalism, Rich offered his expertise and explained the cause, and actually walked me through on how to reset our circuit breaker over the phone, and was at least able to restore power to the main parts of the house. We still need to restore power to the rest of the house, and I didn't think twice to reach back out to Rich! He responded promptly. He saved our Sunday! I would recommend Lightning Electric. I had Peter as my electrician. Very professional and went above and beyond. He went ahead and fixed more than what he had to. I barely do reviews but i do recognize hard work and quality service when its due. Thanks.

I have a condo which is rented out and these guys did a great job of calling my renter and completing the job. Door bell works and they even put in new equipment because things were worn out. Thanks for your timeliness and willing to work with my renter situation.

Whomever I spoke to fixed the problem right over the phone. He could have come out and charge because I haven't a clue but he didn't. Thank you for being ethical ?

Phillip was so professional and quick but so efficient! He was extremely detail oriented and found the cause of the problem so he completely fixed it- so happy! So the issue was to restore power in my room- but just so satisfied about his work ethics- he’s been an electrician for over 40years and is local- highly recommended him and his business- family friendly respectful and just all around great service! He cleaned up after-and super fair pricing:)

I can't say enough good things about this company and Thorin. When I first contacted them, they responded within minutes, setting up an appointment for the following day. They were honest and efficient and went the extra mile to make sure that I had a solution as quickly as possible. The day of the service I had a strict time constraint as the house was scheduled for fumigation and tenant move-in immediately after the tent removal. Thorin was very punctual and had the issue diagnosed and fixed within a few minutes. I love this company! I would defiantly hire them again.
