Very knowledgeable and friendly staff - Jerry and Rico. We had the initial installation done and had some issues with the fan but the company happily came back out to inspect it and we determined it was a manufacturer issue. I will be calling them again for the subsequent jobs.

Cannot recommend. Technician stated that the electric panel had to be replaced as the breaker needing replacing was no longer available. (Turns out that the breakers are readily available.) I accepted a quote for the work and waited the expected two+ months for permits but did not hear from them. I called after about 5 months, and they said they would check on the permits but never called me back. I gave up after giving them more-than-enough time to get permits and fit me in their schedule.

Our family is very pleased with this company, and the service was excellent!With the news of our new baby on the way, and wanting some extra space. We decided to add an addition on our home rather then to relocate. We met with Jerry (the owner of CLD Electric) who kindly took the time to explain everything to us in detail until we were comfortable with making the choice to move forward. We did have a few other local Electrician's come out before making our decision on who to go with, but after meeting Jerry. He left us with the confidence, and piece of mind that our home would be safe for our children upon completion of the job. Then the decision was easy to move forward.From the start of the job the service men were kind, considerate, and respectful of our home. Being that we have small children, and that we were staying in the house while the addition was being built. They made extra efforts to keep the house clean, and tidy while working. The tools, and materials were put in the garage at the end of every day which gave us piece of mind for our children's safety.The whole process from start to finish went much more quickly then we anticipated, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the new room! Our service panel was old, and due for an upgrade anyway, so it all worked out perfectly to have that replaced at the time as well.We highly recommend CLD Electric, and are more then happy to share our experience.Thank you again from the Johnston's!

Did not mention the 90 dollar diagnostic fee over the phone. Made it seem like there would only be 75 if they give you a bid but it’s 75+90. Electrician seemed knowledgeable and was respectful.

We called due to a fire in the panel and were without power. Scott from CLD came out the same day and did an great job getting the process of replacing our panel finished as quickly as possible, working with SDGE and our insurance. Once all the permits were filed, the work itself got done in a day. I'd recommend CLD and Scott specifically to anyone in need of electrical work.

We started out needing a few new switches and outlets which led to new lighting fixtures and wiring. CLD Electric was great with all of this. They had creative ideas on how to install new light switches and what kind of dimmer switches would work best for our home.Then when they came back this past week they replaced a faulty circuit breaker and did the repair. We worked with Horlando at CLD electric (and some limited encounters with Jerry). Horlando installed an outlet ~160ft from our home for a pool and completed work outlined on a home inspection report we received prior to buying our current home.It was a substantial amount of work - replacing all outlets in the kitchen, adding junction boxes in the attic for exposed splices, fixing faulty wiring and substandard work completed by previous electricians (or by the previous owner). I asked for details on every installation and how it addresses items in the inspection report, which Horlando provided. He was respectful of our request to keep a mask on indoors and was flexible about scheduling. I also believe we were given a price that was more than fair.Jerry returned my initial call to schedule the work on the same day and had Horlando out to start on the pool outlet the next day. Initially the timer for the pool outlet was faulty. When I called, Jerry offered to have it fixed that same day (we opted to wait until the day the rest of the work was scheduled). I am very satisfied by their professionalism and timeliness and will be returning for any future work we need.

Recently sold our house and needed to do some electrical work per the house inspection.Jerry was able to come out the morning after I called and he was great to work with. The price was very reasonable and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. I highly recommend CLD Electric.

I called twice and set up appointments for the electrician to come and replace a light fixture. Both times he failed to show up and neither called to say he was running late or say he wasn't coming. Nor did the company offer an apology or a reason for someone not showing up. If I'm expected to be here waiting for them at a certain time I expect the same courtesy.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Jerry today. His knowledge was invaluable and the meeting provided great insight into the project as a whole. Would highly recommend calling these guys if you have any sort of an issue.

These guys were great

San Diego electricians. The electricians know the electrical code in an art of the possible way to allow a choice, within the code, twixt an expensive and functional and a functional but cheaper alternative. Example: A horribly miss-wired kitchen had both dishwasher & garbage disposal placed on the same circuit as the disposal wall switch. Metal conduit and other expensive rewiring lay ahead. Instead, this resolved to a cheaper installation of a GIFS plug into which the dishwasher now obtains it's necessary power by a pre-existing but unutilized circuit found by Colby, my electrician. This choice also allows the disposal to run free again from it's original switch. Praise be!
