This is the second time we have used Sunbelt Electric. We called them again this time because we had a very good experience the last time we used them.Yesterday when i called, Gary assisted me on the phone and then sent Efrain out to help us this morning. Efrain arrived early and was very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. He diagnosed our problem, left to get parts and returned promptly to repair our lighting problem. They were reasonably priced and very pleasant to work with. We will use Sunbelt Electric again! Thanks!

I recently purchased a backup generator and needed an electrician to install a Generator Transfer Switch at the main power panel. I called around and finally located a company that could do the job here in San Antonio (not every company can, or will do this). That company was Firefly Electric Services. They dispatched an electrician to come out and give me an estimate on the installation. The electrician immediately noticed that the main power panel had been hit with what appeared to be a surge from a lightning strike. I confirmed that there had been a lightning strike a year or so earlier that hit the house. During his investigation it was determined that hooking up a backup generator to the current main panel may prove to be unwise, even dangerous. He advised me that the damage should be covered by my homeowners insurance. He took pictures of all the damage to the main & sub panel and wrote up his findings and recommendation for fixing the problem. I submitted his information with a claim to the insurance company and the insurance did cover the damage. Firefly came back out, installed a new main & sub power panel, new ground, new surge protectors on both panels and they also installed the generator transfer switch. (See photos) As a retired Navy vet who worked in and around electrical wiring for over twenty-years, I've got to say that the Firefly Team was one of the best, if not the best team, I have ever seen. They are totally professional, on-time, and very thorough in their work and in explaining their work. Josh, the team lead on the job, showed me all the tricks for operating my brand new, straight out of the box generator. We actually used the generator with extension cords to power my two refrigerators while the house was out of power for the 6 hours it took to finish the job. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the finished product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Firefly Electric Services. I want to thank everyone at Firefly for a JOB VERY WELL DONE! I also want to give a special thanks to Salvitore Lombardi (Sal) the Owner/Operations Manager who was so instrumental is getting this all done. David and Sebastian were extremely professional. They explained the repairs thoroughly and cleaned everything up before they left. They inspected the indoor and outdoor panels, GFIs (which were intermittently popping), replaced a receptacle that had burned up, installed a new light fixture and replaced the outdoor flood lights. I would use Hill Electric again.

I came across this company on nextdoor app. I called for an estimate and scheduled a time for someone to come out. Isiah and Matt showed up to my house, gave me some options and quickly went to work. These guys were very professional, informative and respectful. I needed a floodlight installed where I didn’t have any power close by and these guys made it happen. I highly recommend calling this company for any electrical services. I will definitely use them in the future.

I have used Val and his team for several jobs including new construction. They always do a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend him and his team.

I scheduled a ceiling fan installation with them twice. They didn't show up either time and called halfway through the scheduled window to tell me no one was coming out. They tried to schedule for 2 days then 4 days out. Do not use them if you are in a pinch or taking time off of work for the appointment. I will not be scheduling with them again.Edit: After posting this review, the Mister Sparky management team reached out and sent someone to us right away. I appreciate that they took the time to make it right. The technician did a good job installing the ceiling fan.

I needed a fan repair and could NOT get Hunter Fans to recommend a repair company ... so strange, I tried multiple times. Anyway, I called All Star Electric and immediately talked with a person (Brooke) who was extremely helpful with a convenient repair time and identifying the replacement part so it could be a one visit repair. A technician named Bob came out who could not have been more professional and a first rate trouble shooter. The price was fair and matched the quote given despite complications that had to do with Hunter Fans and out of the control of All Star Electric. I will use them again if I can get Bob ... ask for him!! Vr

Called Hunter Electric Friday afternoon. Techs were on their way home for the day & weekend. The office reached out to John A. and he agreed to stop by to look at a number of issues. He analyzed all the issues & systematically ran through each fixing them. He was professional and very courteous. So knowledgeable that he inspired confidence. There were wires fixed that had been arcing. A failed GFCI. A failed outdoor plug. A wrong breaker in the main box… And a bad three way switch in the Master Bathroom. He repaired them all the while explaining the problems and fixes for them. Very transparent. All is well now thanks to Hunter Services and John! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
