Amazing that great companies still exist! I called this afternoon and had my technician Jimmy out within hours. He was extremely knowledgeable and got the job done quickly! My favorite part is the text message with the first and last name of your tech and a picture, what a great company we will definitely be using them again and asking for Jimmy! Driver of truck tried to run me, my mother, and my father off of the road. Kept swerving when we tried to move out of the way. We had to hit our gas and reach 90mph just to get away from him on the ramp going onto the 101 North bound at 8:30 at night. License plate is either ABA 7EC or A8A 7EC. Watch out for him he drives like he doesn’t care about keeping his job.

In all honesty, I was a little apprehensive in this process as my usual “go-to handymen” were tied up…I stumbled on this company and they over-delivered!
Ian was on time, super professional and even cleaned up the entire job site after the work was completed.

I recently purchased my first home. Needless to say me and my boyfriend are pretty clueless when it comes to maintenance so we purchased a home warranty plan. A few days ago our AC goes out (just as soon as we are starting to hit triple digits) so I put in a service call. First they referred me to some company where I left multiple messages for 24hrs and never spoke to anyone. I call my home warranty service back the next day to complain and they refer me to A Better PlaceLLC. I received a call from Scott (the owner) saying he would be out that day and he was at my home a few hours later. He's professional, confident, has a sincere friendly quality, knows what he's talking about and keeps it real. He's also friendly with pets :), my lil 4yr old french bulldog Bella was having the best time trying to distract him in anyway she could. After finding the issue with the AC he made a call in my favor to the warranty company that helped ensure that they cover the replacement part right away. He had the part readily available, and AC was back that night. From now on when I call my home warranty service I will only request A Better Place and should be TOP on the list. I also hired Scott to clean the coils of the air handler to help maintain the unit and have it working efficiently for the rest of the summer. He squeezed it into his schedule and returned the same week. This maintenance service is not covered by home warranty plans. The quote he gave me was the MOST REASONABLE PRICE OUT THERE, and you couldn't ask for any better service. A Better Place is truly the BEST PLACE. I highly recommend you CALL THEM FIRST. This company is contracted to do the electrical work in the new community I live in. My dryer wasn't drying. So I checked out the power to the outlet. It was wired incorrectly by a veteran electrical worker. Turns out several other neighbors had electrical issues as well. The veteran electrical guy wired the 220v outlet shown in the photo. The manager for the community said IES doesn't do hot checks or inspect their work...I can see that!
