Larry and his team replaced the knob and tube wiring and replaced the panel in our recently-purchased Philly row home, and I could not be happier with the job they did. From the moment I reached out, I felt like they were going to take care of us, and I was never disappointed. Larry was one of the few electricians who could give me a ballpark estimate before we had access to the house, and he stuck to that estimate throughout the entire process. He explained everything to me, was open, honest, and transparent about everything that would need to be done. His work was always professional - no corners were cut, and he ended up cutting far less holes in my walls than I had anticipated. When the handyman came in to quote me for the patching that was required after all the new wiring, he was impressed at the job that Larry did and the cost of patching was below the price window that he originally estimated!Lastly, and I can't stress this enough, Larry and his team were great communicators. We had a lot of back and forth throughout the process, over the phone, via email, via text, and I could always get a hold of Larry when I needed to. I knew when he was coming and going, and when he committed to being at our house, he was there. Everything was done on schedule!My wife and I have had an overwhelming and stressful experience buying an old home in the city and navigating first time home ownership. I recently hired Filippone Electric to remove and replace all the century-old knob and tube wiring in my 3-story row home in South Philadelphia. I could not have asked for a better experience. The nature of the job itself was daunting, but the owner Al and his crew Mark and Fletch made the entire process much easier (and CHEAPER) than expected. Al helped me by providing advice and suggestions throughout each phase of the project, from the type of materials that should be used to the placement of new fixtures and outlets. Mark and Fletch did a beautiful job re-wiring my entire home, from the third floor ceiling fans to the basement circuit breaker. Everything was installed up-to-code, and most importantly, everything works! The job was very intrusive to the structure of my home, but Mark and Fletch did a great job cleaning up as they worked each day. The crew was always on time and worked under my allotted time constraints to get the job done. After working with the guys from Filippone electric for almost a month’s time, these guys are like family. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done, for any sized job. Filippone is reasonable when it comes to the both the job and the bill. Absolutely no complaints from this happy customer.

I’ve only had my inspection so far but I really recommend this company! A Black owned business with wonderful workers. Maliek was professional, knowledgeable, and super nice. He was able to explain everything to me as a first time homebuyer in a way that made sense. He also went over my home inspection with me and found issues that the inspector didn’t. Also I was given two price points to choose from for the work I wanted. Great all around!

The people who work for this company are genuine and down to earth caring people. They did a rewire and weeded out any lose cables I had in the house and fixed my light fixtures outside. They finished the job in little to no time and they did a very clean job. I definitely recommend them for any electrical issues you might have. Their price is the best out there.

Derek and Mac’s team was super responsive. Half of my house was running out of power and I made a call to Derek in the morning. He sent Mac here in 30 mins and they figured out the issue right away.
