I was in a difficult situation where I had moved out of state & was trying to sell my house from a distance when a home inspection report turned up some unwelcome news. Mr. Filippone (and Co) were able to give me lots of help, clear & understandable explanations of the work my house required, quick responses to every one of my many questions, and great pricing. I agreed immediately to his proposal and very reasonable estimate, and I'm thrilled to have found somebody I feel such confidence in purely through a lucky recommendation!I will post a second recommendation once the work is completed but, after several conversations with Mr. Filippone, I feel great confidence that I was able to get the best crew for the job!

Amazing, Rich the Electrician that did the work was incredible. He did the work in a timely matter. He hung our fans with the less amount of damage to the condo. We will always have Filipino do our work. Great job, Thank you!

I called Filippone Electric for a small job, but one that really mattered to my wife and I. We needed an outlet replaced to get the dryer in our new house working and a broken switch fixed for our kitchen sink garbage disposal. Throughout my dealings with them I always felt like they really wanted my business and saw me as an important customer. Al Filippone was very responsive from the beginning and forthright about when someone would be available to do the work. As it turns out they were availability a day earlier than scheduled. The workers he sent were professional, friendly, and quick and the price was fair. As a recent first time homebuyer I really appreciated the extent to which I felt like my small job was being treated as a really important one. They will definitely be the first ones I call with any future electrical issues.

Al & his team were outstanding. I just purchased a home and quickly realized the electrical work was not done correctly by the previous owner. I called Al and he was able to have one of his electricians (Joey) come over to identify the problem (we needed a new breaker box since the one we had was overloaded). Al's team came the very next day & had everything fixed by 3pm. Al, Joey, and Doug were all extremely polite and respectful of our home. I am so happy I chose Filippone Electric; I would recommend their professional services to anyone - not to mention they gave us a great price!

Mr. Filippone came recommended by a family friend who said they did good work. I was not disappointed. My elderly parents needed a new dedicated line for their washer and dryer and I hoped to have their electrical system looked over because I knew it was outdated. Mr. Filippone sent out a member from his team and conducted a thorough examination of the issue and the electrical panel. We ended up getting the dedicated line, an upgraded electrical panel and a few additional outlets in the house. His estimate for the scope of work was really reasonable and Al answered all my questions and explained what was needed throughout the entire process. His crew was always courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The best part is that it also did not take a long time to complete. My parents and I were really pleased with the work and I could breathe a sigh of relief knowing that my parents home was functioning with a safer electrical system. Al also followed up with me regularly to check on the quality of the work and I plan on using his services again for a few more projects in my parents' home. I would definitely recommend them.

Al Fillipone is by far the best electrician I’ve ever worked with. He was fast, responsive, honest (hard to come by) and very fair with his pricing. The work he did was great and i will be hiring him exclusively for all of my electrical work in The future. No need to shop around, this is the best.

Filippone Electric was great providing their services. Mark, the contractor, was there a total of two and a half days to complete the requested work (outlet swapping and wiring updating, light fixture installations, and repairing an electrical wall heater), which was done thoroughly. He also audited a few other items that I didn't request but were pretty dangerous which he redid more safely, some work a horrible contractor left on my hands. I am happy they caught the items to have them fixed later, which they came back for as well. They were very careful in terms of reducing any damage (holes in the wall, etc.) from the installation of lights. Filippone Electric was also upfront with the cost of the job and supplies, something I've found very difficult for some reason for contractors to do. It was surprisingly refreshing to get a direct answer and quote. They were so good, we used them to repair are walls also (another project another contractor left us with). I'd highly recommend this local contractor. Honest and you know what you're paying for, and why. Great folks and we'll be using again!

Asked Al to come by our new house and check things out. I found him to be very personable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable concerning all aspects of the electric systems of our house. He was more than fair on his pricing, and his workers were on time and took good care of our house regardless of whether we were present or not. Could not recommend him to any greater degree!!

Do not bother to call this company.. he will tell you to get few quotes together with all details and scope of work and that he will beat any price.. in other words I don't want to work so let someone else do all the foot work and ill beat the price. I could respect that, but what I cant respect is that after doing all of this I emailed the 3 quotes and after a week no one ever reached out and when I called the comedian on the other line had me read to him the 3 quotes, like yo I just sent you an email with all the details!! how professional right? he then tells me forget about the lowest quote and the second lowest is about right but I will charge about 1000 more ill come down and see the location but is definitely gonna be more than the second lowest quote you never even came to see my location and you been in business for over 100 years. Yes he told me they been in business for over 100 years!! LMAOOOO what a waste of my time

Top quality work that was completed just the way we wanted. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. Customer service is a top priority for this company. We will definitely be using Filippone Electric for future projects.

I renovated my house in Graduate Hospital and needed a complete electrical rewiring. I got several offers and Al's was the best one. His worker (Douglas) came the day after and worked continuously until the work was done. Al himself was very good in communicating the work and suggesting any necessary changes while being honest about what things weren't truly mandatory as other contractors had misled us to believe. In addition, he gave me some good advice about the rest of the home renovations.All together, I highly recommend Al Fillipone -he is honest, professional and a good person to work with.

Al and Rich were prompt and informative. I needed a light installed in my closet and Mr. Filippone provided me with a quick run down of what could be done to fix it. I had a really nice experience with quick and respectful service especially since I have a little baby in the house that could get in the way. I really appreciated the work was quick and clean. Everything looked safe and perfect for my family.

A few weeks ago, Filippone Electric replaced my kitchen light. Other contractors can take a long time to reply or they simply don't call back. Al Filippone returned my call in a very timely manner. A two-person crew arrived bright and early on a Saturday morning. They were pleasant and efficient, and they knew their stuff too. I also learned that Filippone has another division that does masonry, carpentry, light plumbing and other types of general construction. I was pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend Filippone Electric. I will be using them again!

He didn't upcharge on materials, labor was done in the time they allotted and communicated well w/me during the project. Good people and job well done. Will use again.

Al is an electrician you can trust. His rates were the best I can find after calling several electricians and the work that he completed was extremely neat and clean. Very honest and reliable. Thanks to Al my house is up to code and I have no electrical issues. I also wanted to have other electrical things taken care of around the house and he was able to beat any quote that I had. I will definitely do business with this company again, hands-down no questions asked amazing customer service and someone who truly cares about their customers.

I am a very happy and satisfied camper. I will recommend and utilize their services again. They were punctual, polite, and professional. I was given an unbelievable estimate. I had some serious problems, my microwave oven and my central air system, with cause power outages. I also had some faulty receptacles. They upgraded my circuit breaker box, replaced all receptacles, overhauled my complete air/heating system. They cleaned their work area, like a job as never been performed. I recently hired Filippone Electric to remove and replace all the century-old knob and tube wiring in my 3-story row home in South Philadelphia. I could not have asked for a better experience. The nature of the job itself was daunting, but the owner Al and his crew Mark and Fletch made the entire process much easier (and CHEAPER) than expected. Al helped me by providing advice and suggestions throughout each phase of the project, from the type of materials that should be used to the placement of new fixtures and outlets. Mark and Fletch did a beautiful job re-wiring my entire home, from the third floor ceiling fans to the basement circuit breaker. Everything was installed up-to-code, and most importantly, everything works! The job was very intrusive to the structure of my home, but Mark and Fletch did a great job cleaning up as they worked each day. The crew was always on time and worked under my allotted time constraints to get the job done. After working with the guys from Filippone electric for almost a month’s time, these guys are like family. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done, for any sized job. Filippone is reasonable when it comes to the both the job and the bill. Absolutely no complaints from this happy customer.

Al sent Rich out to have a look at our flickering lights. He was really nice and fun. In between doing the job he gave good conversation and insight onto what he was doing. I had scheduled the day before to have someone else do the work and even gave them $400 up front. After Rich looked over our bill he said they had overpriced us for irrelevant work. My handyman neighbor said the same thing after showing him the other guy's bill so I trusted Rich knew what he was talking about. I then chose to cancel on them and have Rich do more work (for less than half of the other guy). He did it well and was even finished within 2 and a half hours. I recommend them as they do as much as possible to accommodate customers and are overall pretty convivial people.
