Within a few hours of contacting Protech a technician was at my house diagnosing the problem with out outlets. Malvin was professional, courteous, and explained things well. I asked if he could switch an outlet to include usb portals and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. He gave a fair price and after agreeing to it completed the work within an hour. We had three light fixtures installed. Malvin was very friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions throughout the process. The price was very fair, too. I would definitely use Protech again in the future. I have been burned many times with different businesses I've called to do work on our house, so it was great to find a place that was responsive and reliable. The only small issue was that there seemed to be some confusion with the office on two occasions. They told me Malvin would arrive between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the estimate, but he ended up coming around 8 a.m. Also, I wasn't called ahead of time on the day the work was scheduled. The office told me that the technician would call 30 minutes ahead of time, but Malvin said the office was supposed to have called me. Neither thing was a big deal, it just seemed like maybe there was some miscommunication happening. Anyway, the work was done well and on time which was the most important thing!

I've hired Protech to do work at a couple of rental properties. I honestly dread finding someone to fix things that go wrong and when I find dinnertime good, I keep using them. That's Protech. They're responsive and professional and do a great job at a very reasonable price.

Our Pro-tech electrician helped us hided a previously raised wire (in a crooked wire-mold) that had been an eye-sore in our kitchen so that we can put a backsplash behind our counter without having to navigate around the awkward wire-mold. He also helped us replace a GFCI that we didn't realize had a burn mark on it. He was professional and explained all possible options before doing the work. He also cleaned his mess before leaving. The work is pictured here part way through the project, before he reattached the GFCI- we're all ready to install the backsplash now.

The technician was extremely helpful. He arrived on time and actually listened to all my concerns upon arrival. After an inspection from the local township, I was given a list of electrical fixes. I contacted Protech on Thumbtack and they immediately responded. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I missed their calls and had to reschedule. This was completely my fault, but Protech remained very professional and understanding and they rescheduled me for another date. Even on that date I missed their technicians initial call, but they again remained professional and friendly and worked around my schedule.The technician, Dimitir, arrived on time and provided an honest, thorough and educational consultation! The service was efficient and reasonably priced. Suffice to say, they have earned me as a long term customer! Highly recommend!!!

WoW ?I needed an electrician for non-working outlets in my kitchen. I called them at 8:00 am and they arrived by 10:15 am same day, outstanding! The electrician was excellent locating and fixing the problem. He made sure there was no mess when he was done. The electrician was knowledgeable and very polite. ProTech came out same day when my tenants burned out an outlet. Malvin was super helpful in explaining the wiring issue my old rowhome was facing and helped find a good compromise in how to fix things. Contacted Protech this morning requesting to fix bad installation of outlets and light switches done by Management Company’s PAINTER! Yes, Management Company of building hired painters to paint (makes sense), but also decided to have them do electrical work which knocked out lights and outlets to 3 rooms. Melvin the technician arrived in the afternoon as promised. He and his assistant professionally examined the problem and completed the proper work in about 45 minutes. Highly recommended!

When the power in one full wall (Basement to Second Floor) went out, I contacted my warranty company. They sent a tech out (after taking my service fee) and the tech did NOTHING. Turned out it was a faulty outlet. They replaced the outlet and now I have power again, and I owe it all to Protech Electrical Services!!Do not hesitate to contact them. They are quick, respectful, walk you through the process, and timely.I will definitely call them again if I have any other issues going forward.
